Absolutely agree. I understand separate 24 hours coverage dedicated to both Hyper and GT's would cost too much, but GT cars deserve at least dedicated streaming coverage for local times, 4pm-sunset 1-1:30 am, 5am to sunrise, and 2-4 pm. That is only about 10 hours.

Yea it’s unfortunate that’s how the broadcast is done. I wish they’d do 2 broadcast covering the classes. The gt class is so cool

It was so annoying. Watching the leader board gave a better idea of what was going on in GT. You could see the fords pacing hard, pushing out. Not a thing about it on the broadcast. A handful of hypercars fighting it out for 24 hours. So disappointing.

Facts

Its a crime all these GT3 fights were left out in the broadcast and acted as if they were just filler cars compared to the hypercars when they were way further from that.

On top of this the hypercar series with BOP and sandbagging is a shell of its former classes IMO.

You have such a skill to find thsese story lines that are not in the lime light. It's great to also see some actual GT3 coverage...

Not just the Ford no. 88, but the Ford no. 44's result also turned out to be great, with former finishing on the podium @3rd and latter finishing @4th in lmgt3 class. Great results for the Mustangs🔥

I think the #77 Mustang had a legit chance to win, but got taken out by a bonehead move from a P2 car, I watched the replays and the P2 had no chance, but tried to dive bomb the Mustang anyway, sending the #77 to the garage for a long repair. Best part of the whole incident, both the #77 and the P2 car ended up in the gravel trap, the corner marshalls removed the Mustang before the P2, karma is a bitch. If I'm not mistaken I think the #77 may have had the fastest race lap in GT3, if not they were near the fastest. Ford did a great job for a first year car, Corvette not so much, unfortunately.

I nearly got trough the full 24h! This was Amazing from Ford! THX for that really well done comment!

Ford, Multimatic, and Proton did an amazing job at Le Mans. I hope this is just a preview for the rest of the season. I'm sure they took home a lot of useful information for developing the car. Can't wait to see how the rest of the season goes and I hope they get their first win of the season this year. They definitely deserve it.

"A mustang that passes a mclaren". You know, being the literal fastest car on the road ISN'T "necessarily what rich people want". Sometimes it's about a HAND MADE CAR. Sometimes its about a unique appearance that other cars don't have. (Do not even TRY to come here and tell me the mustang has a unique or iconic design). The mustang is as lame and mediocre as minivans or a prius. You know what MAYBE this is a really good car, but it's still a mustang. I don't get why you're so surprised or whats confusing you. You act like the mustang is some "bestowed from heaven" type gift. No, it's a production car made by robots. "A mustang that passes a mclaren". You should take back that shit eating statement because it means nothing. The tortoise does indeed occasionally beat the hare. Doesn't mean the tortoise suddenly looks cuter. Doesn't mean I wanna take the tortoise home as a pet. No, I'm still probably gonna pick the hare, aka the mclaren. For starters, it's more likely to be awd, so that alone makes it better than mustangs. I guess my point is you need to stop. You're unnecessarily and needlessly sucking fords dick, and nobody at that company deserves it. At the end of the day, the appearance of a sports car matters AS MUCH AS how it performs, so yeah obviously nobody should be surprised to ever see a mclaren on the road

@kingalfred3902 I find it really sad to see anybody hyping up a Ford. At the end of the day, it's just a piece of shit ugly ass mustang. A regular ass production car. MAYBE when you get a little more money, you end up thinking "hmm I don't HAVE to buy a piece of shit ugly ass mustang anymore, I can buy a mclaren", so that's what they do. Appearance matters as much as the engine does, and considering the engine underneath mclarens, I'm actually not surprised to see a mustang racing one. Just a super quick Google search shows one of the engines mclaren uses is a fucking v8. Ford makes a v8, and the one in the race isn't even a "regular road model". It's heavily modified for racing. All I see in your comment is shit talking towards the mclaren, and praise upon the mustang as if it was given to us by the gods. Grow up. You're acting like a child. "A sports car designed for racing passed a sports car designed for racing, better freak the fuck out". I don't get it, wanna explain?

The Mustang GT3 that Ford co-developed with Multimatic had a very strong V8 engine, DSSV dampers, and rear-mounted transaxle, which proved to be quite reliable. The only issues it had were some of its body parts, such as the massive rear wing and rear diffuser, which got damaged in certain races like the Daytona 24 hrs. I'm very happy fixed some issues proving at Le Mans that the car is competitiveve, been rooting for the Mustang GT3 ever since the announcement of Ford's return to IMSA and WEC!

Yea live broadcasts of Endurance races are just 90% Hypercar/prototypes and 10% GTD/GT3. Hate it cause these are the cars we can actually drive

Multimatic knows how to set up a race winning car. I wouldn’t be surprised if this car becomes very competitive throughout the year.

I’ve always been a fan of Ford and their storied history of the GT40 during the 60s and their development for LeMans leading up to 2016. Thanks for this video, as a Mustang owner myself, I’m glad to see them at LeMans!!

#77 could probably win the class if not for the steering issues it suffered during the early hours of the race.

One year ago, we had garage 56, this year we have mustang gt3

When Ford went to Le Mans this year, they really said: "Let the Mustang GT3 COOK and prove it's worth alongside the competition."

This video is the best video on Le Mans I've seen yet! FIA needs to sign you up to make their onboard movies.

The Mustang turned into the working man's supercar! Comes stock with 4 wheel disc brakes and 4 wheel independent suspension and 450hp at entry level GT.

Incredible video! As an F1 fan that is new to endurance racing, it would be really helpful if there was a small track map with the current position of the car to keep reference as to where it is on the track :)

My first time on your feed and I'm mega impressed with your delivery, measured commentary, and excellent knowledge of the track and drivers. Easily as good as the people who get paid to commentate. Really good to see a focus on the GT3s, and your piece showed the early battles which, of course weren't shown on the official broadcast. I love the WEC, but have to say IMSA gets my vote as all races are free & no ads! I suppose there won't be a Corvette one, as no onboards? The Caddys had an eventful race, it's strange that they seem to do better or have more luck in the US? Greetings from the UK🇬🇧

The broadcasters seemed to mot notice the LMP2 and LMGT3 classes. Insane!

Ford has made a good job so far in this year, the Mustang 77 surprised me when they were leading and they will be back stronger. Good video ❤
