The Forbidden Path Of Kaula Tantra

What exactly is Kaula Tantricism? The term 'Kaula' originates from 'kala' (kalā). Kala is a Sanskrit term that translates to a part or portion of the whole. The third verse of the Shiva Sutra says:
YONIVARGAḤ KALĀSHARIRAM
Adi Suyash, in his insightful commentary, "Threads of Transcendence: Decoding Shiva Sutras and Mastering the Science of Being Free," translates it as: “Everything, that came forth from the universal vagina of the divine mother are parts of a single body, and he further explains it, “just as our hands, feet, brain, lungs, and heart came forth from our mother's vagina, a multitude of parts found their beginning, all tracing back to a shared origin. Yet, all of these are parts of a single body-your physical body. Similarly, everything-the trees, plants, animals, mountains, houses, rivers, and beyond-that came forth from the universal vagina, the yoni of the divine mother, are parts of a single body-your real, cosmic body.
Every distinct thing in this world can be referred to as 'Kala,' as each is a part or portion of the whole. Everything emanates from the divine mother, known in tantra as Kauliki Shakti, whom the Kaula tantriks worship. Their ultimate aim is the realisation that the entirety of the universe comprises their own vast body. Adi Suyash further writes,
“Consider your body with its many organs and the millions of cells that form them, and then think about the countless microorganisms that are a part of your body, necessary for its proper functioning. All these elements come together to form your body, and you recognize them as an inseparable part of yourself. Right now, you consider your body as yourself, and so these organs, limbs, and microorganisms constitute your identity. They are a part of yourself. So, why stop at the boundaries of our skin? Beyond our physical bodies, we are intimately connected to the trees, the earth, the sky, the sun, and everything in the universe. What prevents us from embracing oneness with the entire world? Why do we create divisions and boundaries?”
The Kaulas strive to break this boundary and include everything in their vast expansive identity. The same idea echoes in the verses of Vedas:
sarvam khalvidam brahman
The entirety of existence is indeed, Brahman, the absolute consciousness.

All dreams spin from the same web, freedom, wisdom and respect for all of us. May we have no shame no fear no hate. Accept our sexuality, our life, our journey. Lets accept the dark and light. Balance these. All is one. Harmony and unity. Ascension and transcendence. Joy, pleasure and a calm mind. May the journey help us to go forward. Nothing is everything, so everything is nothing, woman, men, left, right, up, down, all is sacred. All is God. Good and evil. If the 2 become one we will find paradise.

Kashmiri pandits used to practise Kaul marg. That’s where the surname Kaul comes from . But I think they have almost completely given up on the rituals . Which explains y they suffered so much. The backlash for not performing rituals properly in tantra is extreme.

  • @srikanthan1000

    @srikanthan1000

    6 күн бұрын

@@allofmykek3884 It’s not that Tantric Gods r cruel. After all it’s ultimately the same Brahman manifesting in a different form as a Tantric God. The reason for the harshness of the deities in Tantra is due to the fact that a person traversing that path to God is voluntarily taking up a very quick but dangerous path. All sorts of warnings r given to ppl seeking tantric methods about the dangers of the path. If u choose to go down that line despite that then u have to accept the consequences for mistakes as u have been given full disclosure. Also how v propitiate a deity is also important. In Vaam marg Tantra v invoke and propitiate deities in a fierce and ritualistic method rather than in a friendly and kind manner as done in Sattvic worship. This is y animal sacrifice for deities is also not encouraged other than in exceptions. The results r faster and more powerful but the method and the mentality behind that is purely ritualistic and transactional. Sacrificing life energy for rituals is always a dangerous business as if not done the only thing that results is the anger of the deity and the sin of killing a life. Done properly everyone, including and especially, the sacrificed animals receive immense benefit but like i said it’s easy to go wrong. So better get it right or don’t do it. The more advanced Tantric rituals r unlike sattvic Vedic rituals. In the latter mistakes r pardoned as long as effort and intention is sincere. Many times even rituals which r done incorrectly still yield full results as the mistakes r inadvertent or couldn’t be helped. Sometimes a small compensatory ritual is all that’s needed to rectify the error and get full benefits. Tantrik rituals r different. U either get it right or don’t do it at all. It’s almost formulaic. Especially Tantric rituals which r not in the Dakshina Sattvic marga r very dangerous. It’s literally like playing with dangerous high powered equipment. No room for error. Which is y true Gurus of vaam marga methods like Aghora or Kaula or Pashupatha, Kapalika , Bhairav, Saktha and other such paths initiate only the rarest of rare individuals into the secrets of the tradition which they r the Guru of. Misuse or mistakes in the path not only affects the individual and those around them but also the initiating Guru since he is held karmically responsible for the mistakes of the disciple. Even getting initiation in the advanced rituals of Dakshin Marga Tantra Sadhana is close to impossible for the vast majority of the ppl . Only a select few r given the initiation. So u can imagine how much more careful a Guru would have to be when giving initiation in Vaam Marg Tantra methods.

As explained in the video, in vamachar tantra a person has to follow 'panch makars' / 5 M's which are fish, meat, wine, sex and mudra. These are usually considered as taboo by many people, but since the follower sees everything as god, so he follows these addictive practices usually under the instructions of a Guru. But if the follower get attracted to these 'panch makars', he would get addicted to these things and would end up in a position far worse than he has started his/her journey from. So the seekers usually avoid the vamachar path of medetation.

Ritualistic sex with a partner who is not your married spouse, drinking alcohol, meat, fish . Oh. No doubt people are tempted to this divine license for orgy. 😂 Jokes apart most of us fail to control even our mobile addictions . So forget about controlling those basic urges. A failed upasak (practitioner) will be devolved into lower animal yoni (birth) and have to start evolving again into human yoni to get chance to resume sadhana.

Everything in the physical universe is temporary spirit is eternal. Therefore, enlightenment cannot be found in the physical universe. It is not possible to observe the entirety of anything physical, half of anything viewed always remains hidden, therefore nothing in the physical universe is real. Each individual perceives physical reality in their own exclusive way, therefore physical reality cannot be shared and is for this reason, not real. Only through the complete renunciation of judgments and desires can a person overcome the falsity of the physical universe. Perfect sobriety is the beginning of perfect balance. These truths are not mine they are universal. So be it. Love your inner self and radiate love.

My take: when we imagine a body, there needs to be a balance for it to live long and healthily. Just like that we need the balance of “good” and “bad” energy and things in this world. And just like the body is dying, slowly the universe is dying but the longer the balance is preserved, the longer the universe can thrive. This is why we still shouldn’t dive into darkness. Otherwise it’s just a justification of our addictions. Also, a bacteria that exists in us is of course a part of us, but different bacteria are still different . They should know their independence, otherwise they would lose the ability to work for the health of overall body. So technically we still should take care of ourselves to support the greater creation.

Here are a few points to understand: 1.) Aghoris don't always eat like that, its just during particular sadhanas, and actually cerebral meat is super healthy. Also, they don't harm anyone while doing so as it's from a deceased corpse. 2.) They live longer lives than us as they are more attuned to nature and stay away from processed food. 3.) The universe is cyclical in nature, and it will die but also be born again. Don't be afraid of the end, as its inevitable, and so is its rebirth. Focus on your own spiritual advancemend. 4.) The video has specified that this path is only for a select few, and under the guidance of a Guru. We are all addicted to things, from social media to instant gratification. This path infact is the opposite of addictions, if done correctly. When practiced in the right way, it slowly brings upon viragya (detachment) from wordly pursuits and transmutes that energy into self realisation.

@@karmapeople1735 all true. I should’ve mentioned that I’m not against it, but just think that a typical modern person can easily get lost on this path. Also yes, everything dies but there should always be a balance. Everything needs to want to live and that’s how the world is. It’s just that that it’s really mentioned in the video. Probably is taught by gurus on a deeper dive.

@@dariazhempalukh wanting to exist, survive and wanting to live is the drive of the seperate self and body. Its natural as long as you identify as that. Becomming immortal is just realising you are beyond what feels it is born, now exists seperately from others and will die in the future. But this is all very conceptual until you start to experience it as truth. You can look at how you see the thriving of the material universe as the goal: you give more reality and importance to that and everything you do will be in devotion to the material world, how you as a seperate self feels, how you contribute to this material world and what you see as others. Again you cannot fake the detachement from this world because you realise reality is beyond it and this whole universe is just apearing in awareness, just like it dissapears when you sleep and you can be consious of dreaming and creating all these senses, another body, the world and others with your own mind while dreaming. We just identify way more to our body and world when we are not sleeping because its there every time and it has some consistance. You can see people who are quite unconsious totally identify when they put on a vr set for example and just forget they are actually in a room with things that can break and all the fear they feel is invalid, they have no ability to zoom out. Imagine This charactre every day with consistant senses, surroundings ect, its very hard not to identify with that charactre. But the fact you see the world dissapaer, see a dreamworld and body appear and dissapear every day must mean you are the underlying factor (reality) and not the world. Anyway its useless to explain when you didnt have these realisations for yourself so I will stop

@@PersisP you didn’t have to dive that deep. Sometimes it’s not about the spiritual aspect but about social aspect. A lot of people nowadays are lacking will to live and this is why I’ve mentioned that in nature it’s the opposite and it’s meant to be that way. I’m well aware of the intricacies that you’ve described, yet I’m consciously choosing to explore life beyond focusing on spiritualism because at some point, like you’ve said, it becomes a personal journey and random people on the internet can only do so so much to explain you stuff. I would end this convo now since we’re probably talking abt the same stuff anyways.

If thats your thing, then fine, It is not true to say that the Middle Path is for beginners. Buddhas Enlightenment came after he stopped extreme forms of practices which are not advanced but may suit spiritual thrill seekers the most. To suggest that you are advanced by taking the left hand path is simply a sign of a spirtualised , inflated ego.

I believe the Islamic Grand Mosque in Makkah, Masjid Al Haraam , which houses the kaaba, that it ,( the Kaaba) actually represents the Divine, Cosmic Mother, and like a women, the Kaaba is Wearing a covering and ironically the Hajar al-Aswad on the corner resembles a vaginal vulva, so the cube shape is like the womb, and so the vulva the material creation is birthid into existence, albeit symbolically. This should not offend any Muslim or anyone who admires Islam, amongst other paths, such as myself, for this is actually a compliment, and actually is not even directed twords Islam, although Islam claims ownership of the Kaaba, let's not forget that in history the Kaaba also was a shrine to Pagan ( Pre-Islamic dieties. So this is just a realization I had about the Kaaba from my own observation, I dnt know if at any time in History this was actually thought of.
