They folded without the shoulder strap in the bag. I also found that if I pulled on the INSIDE zipper it was much smoother. If the inside zipper is turned back towards the area already zipped it works like a lock or brake.

It's been months since I bought my *rrcopys* tote and it still looks the same as when I bought it. I have to admit that they did a really good job in this regard. The craftsmanship and durability of these bags is truly impressive.

OMGosh! She must have a different bag than I do. I am grateful that this bag can be folded in such a compact way. However, the struggle is real … getting that zipper closed. 😢😢

Pull on the inside pull. It resists if you pull on the outer one.

exactly. I want to know how they get it so flat that they can close it.

I did eventually get it zipped but it seemed like it took me longer than it did to actually go on my vacation! The bag itself is great and I'm glad I bought it.

I realized after my first attempt that if you pull on both the inner and outer zipper pull (or even just the inner) it will zip much easier. If the inner pull is pointed towards the area already zipped it works as a brake (or zipper lock.)

Wasn't easy to fold even after I slowed the video down, but eventually I got there with the help of a bit of soap on the zipper teeth for the last bit. Also I saw somewhere else which suggested holding both the internal and external zips together as you zip around the pouch.

I folded mine no problem with the straps!!

I agree with what others have said, the video should be slower. I did like how you stored the shorter handles. You CANNOT fold it properly with the shoulder strap, that has to be removed and stored in the front pocket after folding. I hope it stands up. I received mine the other day and two zippers were already separated. I had to unzip them and rezip them so they would open and close properly. I bought for a European trip next month so I’m nervous that the bag will hold up.

You can slow the video down. Just tap the settings ‘cog’ in the bottom right, and select Playback speed. Hope your bag holds up! They’re not cheap.

I had the same issue. One of the zippers arrived already separated in the middle. I re-zipped it, but hope it holds up

You are the first one to address the larger shoulder straps. I did get mine folded with the large straps inside. It was not easy. Putting the larger straps in the outside pocket seems like a good idea. None of the videos I watched addressed the larger straps. Most only showed the smaller handles. I live in a smaller house and space is limited. I love the concept of folding it small when not in use.

I folded it with the strap no problem?

Holy cow!!!!!!! Took me 30 minutes to fold it. Zipper was impossible! Don't think I will attempt to fold it again.

To view the video at a slower pace click the settings button at the top right hand side of your screen and change the playback speed. Received my bag today. Able to fold it up as directed. Looking forward to using in an upcoming trip. 😀

I was so confused about folding it back. But could do it easily after watching this video. Thanks so much 😄

Great bag out of the pocket. But the folding was really hard. Watched the video and finally got the bag in position. But. Those terrible zippers are not heavy enough!! Very frustrating. Needs some finessing. !! Not 100 percent happy. !!!

No matter how many times I have tried it doesn't fold as easily as in this video. I haven't managed to close it once. But I do like the bag.

Zippers are a bitch to get around the corners and then you have to pull it as hard as you can and it isn’t easy

Yes have been having the same problem. Why didn't it ship folded up like they show on the video?? Very misleading 😕

Perhaps it gets easier after a few uses, but getting it folded this first time isn't easy. Closing the zipper completely is difficult & both parts seem very flimsy & likely to separate. Unable to get the tabs centered as one side won't move more than two inches at the top.

On my last leg from London to Manchester, the airline insisted I check in Foldie bag. Then on the return flight home from Manchester to London to Texas, I decided to leave my bag behind with my daughter because I couldn’t figure out how to fold it. Now I know better. It was a lovely bag though.

Definitely needs to slow it down. The directions if you scan the code are poorly done.

Figuring out how to fold it wasn’t hard. Getting the zipper to close to close it properly was difficult!!!

Would have been easier if you included a step by step visual in with the bag. Played this video a number of times before getting it.

I just got this bag today. It finally arrived. However it WILL NOT fold into the small bag. So for me it’s totally useless unless I can fold it small to fit in the outer pocket of my suitcase. The video is very misleading with how easily it finds. I have been fighting it for 30 minutes and it still isn’t folded.

Instructions are pretty good, if a little more fiddle than shown. But, why is the QR code on the swing tag (the first thing you throw away) and not on the brochure that’s called “Folding Instructions”???!!

Glad to know I'm not the only one having trouble folding the Foldie.🙄 It's almost not worth the effort. Otherwise, it's a nice bag.

Would’ve been more helpful to walk through this and slow it down. I legit tried to fold this thing 10 times before sort of just damming it all in the zipper.

Trying to be respectful, but soooo difficult to close. My husband had to help help me close it. Maybe your next version needs to be rethought, esp.zippering. Felt we had to be careful, not to break the zipper. AND that’s my 2 cents!🎹🎶🎶🎶

Trying to do up the zipper was torture.

As much as these are, you should not have to wrestle with them to get them folded

They should call it the unfoldable foldie. I am a very patient person but I will just leave mine unfolded for now. 😅

I give up! The concept is good, but the realty of folding this back up is nearly impossible. I used it for a trip and although the size was suppose to fit under the airplane seat it barely did, and I had no room for my feet. It might be good if you use it as a smaller size..

This video makes it look SOOOO easy. It isn't. My foldie bunches up like crazy, won't lie flat, won't "fold", and what the heck are you supposed to do with the handles and straps? It's like handling a wriggling snake. I bought two of these because of the cool video I saw on Instagram. One of them I haven't taken out of the package, so I'm going to return it. The other one will be just another grocery bag because there's no way it's going to fit back into that teeny pouch!

The video should also be slower. !!!

Zipper quality is dreadful…..so hard to make the zipper even move. The actual folding up is easy, the doing up took forever.

It is NOT as easy as it looks in this video... Almost broke a nail trying to pack it into the bag .. ugh..

I’m not going to even bother trying anymore. Ugh!

Not easy - not impressed

Over 10 minutes. It isn't square. My hands hurt. And, yes, can't be the same bag. That said, I like the bag.
