The Flour War of 1775

After being faced with ever-growing grain prices caused by a liberalisation of the economy, ordinary French people took to the streets and fought for their right to have cheap flour. We're going to analyse what the circumstances were, what the so-called „Physiocrats" wanted, and how the revolt went down.

I really love these obscure historical facts that you don't hear much from. I will argue that getting 1/5th of your subscriber's base to watch your vid within 3 hours is rather impressive for a small channel. Keep up the good work.

I was going to ask where you're from, since I think your accent is quite pleasant, and you're surprisingly good at pronouncing things! Or, at least the Swedish words you brought up in a previous video. Can't verify the French, but it sounds about right. But every other commenter is pointing out that you must be German, because of Kaufland. This is where I would write "Hallo [my neighbour]" if I could figure out the latter part in German, which I can't. Not even with the help of a quick use of Google Translate. At least I remember hallo from my short-lived time taking German classes. edit: Might be worth noting that I'd call you my neighbour because I'm Swedish. Though I guess we're not technically neighbours, what with Denmark being in the way, as it often tends to be! ((I'm part Danish 😔))
