Last fishing spot , few buddies and I used to fish on that barge dock years ago! Caught a shit ton of flatheads and I caught a paddlefish there!

Good stuff! The flatheads just started spawning within the last week or 2, gonna be a tough bite till end of july/early August

@@thomassmith8557 Thanks for watching. I typically fish from Pittsburgh down to wheeling, WV. I'm hoping to make it out to the Susquehanna some day soon

Hopefully, I will put a decent Flathead on the bank tomorrow. If not, a Channel Catfish like the big one you caught will do. I will be fishing downtown in Michigan. Sunrise bite was cool to see!

That would be awesome! Going to take 3 boys. Maybe, they will catch a Monster. I know guys that catch big Flatheads all the time. Especially, during football season. One caught a 38 lber on 2 consecutive nights a couple weeks ago.

Thanks for watching! Yes, I fish the new Cumberland pool a lot. It's a great fishery. Same with below the new Cumberland dam. (Pike Island pool) biggest flathead I've ever caught was in Steubenville, oh

Those redhorse heads are like candy, easily my favorite bait, only issue I have with them is keeping the small fish off long enough for a big one to get hold of it, those jokers don't usually sit too long. I'm lucky enough to have a spot where I can pretty consistently catch at least one or 2 big redhorses every time I go there, at least 1/2 of my 40# plus fish have come on them.

Amazing work guys! How long ago was this filmed? Only reason I ask is because I feel like the Flatheads are on the spawn in my area (Southwest Pennsylvania) and I've been doing some Crappie fishing the last couple weekends.... however, this video makes me want to hit the river this weekend instead of my different Crappie spot, lol.

Why don't you use your bait click's? So you don't lose any fish? Great action though.

I actually hook more fish when not using bait clickers. On occasion, when they're hitting very light, I run the clickers but to be honest, I miss a lot doing it. Guess I just suck at running clickers 🤣
