I literally cannot stand the version of Iris on the show. But it has nothing to do with Candice or the color of her skin. I think she is terribly written with some really cringeworthy dialogue and sometimes the way she treats Barry is just downright laughable and completely void of the understanding of the responsibility he has as a hero. The writers owe Candice and the fans so much better than we've gotten.

Its different, danielle is a part of the cast but is not as importante as the "co-protagonist" role that candice has, and yet the writting of Iris is as lazy as caitlyn, nothing against candice at any wey though you can see they all trying their best

I feel so bad for Candace. She’s so talented and sweet and doesn’t deserve all the hate. No matter if you dislike Iris as a character, Candace portrays her really well. I’m so proud of Wally’s actor for coming out too :DD

I remember a drama teacher saying once that some of the best actors are the ones who experience tragedy, struggles or heartache. He said that those things actually help in drawing out various emotions. Seems like he was right.

Candace does a fantastic job playing the Flash's girl. On the show, race is never an issue. The actors actually have chemistry and convincing scenes together, especially early seasons. She earned her role!

I don’t have a problem with Candice I like her a lot and that wife calling her out she was not told about her it is not her fault it is the husband for letting it happen

I don't want to be involved in any drama, so I'll just say this. Candice does the best she can with what she's given, and Season 6 of the show had some of her best acting in the entire series, especially in the back half. She's incredibly talented, and doesn't deserve the hate she gets. edit: I feel so bad for Grant too. I used to struggle with anorexia and depression too, but I can't even imagine struggling with it on top of starring on one of the most watched shows on the CW. I hope things get better for him in the future.

I have a feeling they fired him so quickly purely because of how tense 2020 has been in regards to racial issues. Keeping him on would have brought a lot of people trying to bring down/boycott the Flash because of Sawyer. It happened to a business in California after they kept on a racist employee.

Ralph/Hartley’s story surprised me the most. Ralph was the most funny, kind, and outgoing person, both in the show and irl. It’s honestly heartbreaking to acknowledge the fact that he made abusive tweets towards women for attention. I’ll miss him on the show, but I’ll never forget why he’s gone.

What Hartley has said is very wrong but isn’t Ralph’s whole character development is becoming a better person. Ralph was sexist and racist in the beginning of season 4. But from the end of season for to season 6, he’s changed into a good person. I think Hartley could do the same.

“The Flash” was turned into “The Iris Show” after season 3, that’s the only reason why I dislike her a lot

A lot of people getting “canceled” for things done along time ago, instead of anything recent. Early 2000 were all edgy so of course you’ll find a lot of rude and offensive things from people. It was popular and now they are getting in trouble for doing what a lot of people did if not everyone. Sucks that Ralph is not showing up in future I like his character.

Rip, I liked Ralph as part of the gang. So sad that he won’t be apart of that! I also get why though. I do think Hartley should be given one more Chance to prove that he is a better person than he used to be.

Honestly as real Flash fan I did know every of this, despite the Grant's story. I never thought he come through so much hell. Also happy to hear that my fav actor aka Carlos Valdes doesn't have any big dramas.

I love the iris we got I honestly cant see anyone else play her really.. candace is a great actress

Grant actually was a surprise but not much , Grant is the kind of dude you'd want to be his buddy/best friend

What Hartley Sawyer did was a mistake. He plays Ralph so good. It was a mistake, he apologised and realised his mistake. Do they really need to fire him?

grant is my favorite celebrity, because i have anxiety and i can’t eat the morning before anything unless i’m just sitting in bed so i’m very thin. my dad doesn’t understand and my mom passed away. i just love how grants so open and let’s me know i still have hope ❤️

it's honestly very unfair what Candice Patton had to deal with in terms of that basketball player because clearly she didn't know that he was married and I think it's very unfair how she was attacked. I just can't see with how she is that she would have continued to pursue a relationship with someone who she would have known was married. That is not the kind of person she is.. we all love her on the Flash. ❤️😇⚡

Ralph was one of my favorite characters ever and I hope they're able to keep him in but as a transformed version like how DeVoe did in season 4

Twelve years ago Tweets from over decade ago should NOT be used to judge & ostricize someone. You don't have to be the same person you were a DAY ago. Much less a DECADE ago. My heart goes out to this guy. He may very well have completely changed by now. All of us have thinks in our pasts that we wish we could change. That we're ashamed of.

This show was the introduction to the Flash for me. I started reading the comics after and was genuinely surprised and disappointed that Iris is white in the comics. I much prefer Candace's portrayal of the character. (Besides, I can't imagine Joe being played by anyone else either. He's the best part of the series!)

Bruh people need to appreciate Iris more she’s the only thing keeping Barry motivated to defeat the villains

Can’t believe Candice gets that amount of grief, she is absolutely gorgeous and plays Iris perfectly. I don’t agree with Hartley getting sacked. Yes the things he said were wrong but he was joking and it was a long time ago. In sure most people have things in their past that they would take back if they could, people can change.

Those aren't just "bad things". He literally said he'd harass homeless women & CUT THEIR BREASTS OFF! He also said girls & women belong on sex/breeding farms, as if they're not human beings who are trafficked & raped on a daily basis already. But because he's a fave of yours, you defend him? The fact that he even said he stalked & perved on coworkers & would abuse his wife, when DV is so rampant, ruins victims & even kills them every day, is extremely disturbing. 1. Hate Iris, love Candice. Iris annoys the shit outta me, but none of it is the actors fault. I think she does brilliantly with what she is given, its just a shame it isnt a lot. 2. Hartley shouldn't have been fired, yes the things he said were wrong, but they were many years ago and since, he has apologised and is a different person. For a show that is constantly giving people second chances its just wrong that he didn't get that same treatment.

I recently started watching the flash series, it's very good, I'm on the sixth season, I found out that the series ended, in my opinion it shouldn't end, you should never abandon a success, many make that mistake, then they try to come back but no longer is the same . I grew fond of all the characters, even those who are no longer here, for me that is the greatest success of the series, having many good characters.

Ok this made me love the flash even more. These people are amazing in every way! ❤️

I don't know why people are still judging hartley like the whole show is about redemption and forgiveness and also about being better. in my opinion, hartley sawyer is better I don't get why people are still being so hard on him yes people make mistakes but it was what 9 years ago? people change a lot in nine years this show is literally about changing for the better forgiveness being the good guy not being an asshole friends god this show is about like pretty much everything. but when he makes a mistake which yes was horrible it was 9 years ago the show doesn't care about his character and what he has been through how he was before team flash I even bet some of the flash cast producers and whatever I bet some of them think he deserves a second chance because that was what they gave his character so why can't they give hartley a second chance, get over it cause we all know he isn't that person now

I think the one that was the most surprising was Hartley, I don't know how to judge it though, he is evidently remorseful so I will certainly continue watching his roles, and he is phenomenal as Ralph.

Hartley honestly deserves to get his job back because the show itself always pushed that people can change and be redeemed and when it was time for them to prove themselves they didn’t. Now I’m not gonna lie what Hartley said was really heartbreaking but those where just dark humor jokes to get attention that are over half a decade old, if he said those things today that would be a different story but that was stuff he said before getting on the Flash. He’s not the same person he was in 2014 and to see people hate him for his past mistakes is upsetting. Because I’m someone who’s made mistakes in the past but I was given a helping hand to become a better person. Hartley said he was sorry he knows what he did was wrong he wasn’t making up excuses he was owning up to his mistakes and I know why they fired him they wanted to show that they weren’t racist, but as someone who is a black male. All I saw was a man who held himself accountable for his past mistakes being thrown to the wolves instead of helped to become a better person .
