They have just as much if not more reason to hate her more than they do the flash, they couldnt even get lex luthors character correct, he's supposed to be a giant narcissistic prick but they couldnt even do that correctly, he literally states in wonder womans bio that the Amazons are superior to the human world? It screams "safe edgy", and its boring, much like everything else about the game. Batman? shoot him. Superman? shoot him. the flash? shoot him. Green Lantern? shoot him. not to mention the fact that the game couldnt even run early access properly without game breaking bugs, but you sure can bet that in game store was working early. Keep defending mediocre corporate slop and they'll just keep making it worse.

Exactly. Like the same happened to Wonder Woman too at some point. The "Villains act bad" trope was an excuse for writers to write less amount of heavy and GOOD story, a likable one atleast.

I understand the frustration with the JL getting nerfed, but to me the biggest sin this game commits story-wise is the weird ass characterization. Harley was going to get SHOT in the FACE by BATMAN!! She was saved by flash at the last damn second!! But she doesn't react to either of those things?? Not even a snarky remark? She knows batman well enough that this should be deeply unsettling for her, and she's not so far gone so as to continue dunking on Flash when he has done nothing but try to help them since he ran into them!! (I would go so far as to say that's ooc for her) Like, the game is a power fantasy. At it's core, it's about fun boss fights against the justice league and the power fantasy of four hopelessly outmatched underdogs getting the upper hand on the most powerful beings in their universe. The Justice League was always going to have to get nerfed for the plot to work at all. I think their deaths were ridiculous and the gameplay should have been more creative in methods of taking them down, but it's still understandable for what the game is. What is *not* understandable is why everyone is reacting to the heroes like them being assholes is their default state and not _extremely weird and unsettling._ Because they're acting (more or less) like their usual selves, personality-wise - it's just that what they're doing is absolutely fucked! Especially because Flash proves - in front of the chucklefucks! - that whatever is happening to them, _they're still in there._ They might even be _aware_ of everything that's happening. The chucklefucks barely even react in fear past some slight nervous chatter when they're fighting the League. Boomerang is one thing - why would no one else be terrified of fighting Flash? Or The Green Lantern, or the literal MAN OF STEEL. It's Weird. The characterization is Weird. Correct on the surface, especially thanks to the good banter, but look any deeper and it falls apart. And that's just my frustrations with this scene and other, related scenes - nevermind the mishandling of Jon's character, the lack of any meaningful character development, the idiot stick being inexplicably in full force, Diana's treatment by the squad despite being one of the least affable League members even on her best days, etc etc.

The only explanation for Flash being so weak is if his speed was reduced due to the death of the Speed Force during season 6 of The Flash and the Speed Force was brought back just as Brainiac took control. That's the only reason I can think of that doesn't make my eyes roll at this game
