If this ever gets turned into an animated series, I would love to see the moment where Wally's costume changed back into his 90's version have a 3d panoramic view as we see him run towards the camera away from the black Flashes. Such an epic moment.

They should have a speedster named Blink. His catchphrase would be “Don’t blink, it’ll be over in a second.” Edit: I just checked to see if Blink was a hero. It’s a Marvel hero.

I thought that page didn't transition well at all. It was like BOOM family portrait in nothingness.

The speedsters get the coolest recap of their history with all the lighting. It always looks badass.

Ok, that brought me to tears. Seeing Wally and Barry so close again.

8:15 is an absolutely incredible moment that made me so happy and I couldn’t stop smiling, such a fantastic Flash moment between Barry and Wally ❤️⚡️

I'm not a big flash fan but I reckon this is a must read, it helps Wally going forward and we'll definitely see a different Wally now that he has his family back 👍

That was awesome seeing Wally back in the og costume as well. Waiting for this JL JLU jokes from him

SlickChick something there’s a lot that wally has over barry. better stories, better character development, more powers and is faster. the only thing barry has over wally is that he is currently the main flash and because of that he is adapted in current media more

I don’t really care about this Death Metal stuff I’m just waiting for it to end so the timeline can hopefully be fixed. HOWEVER I very much enjoyed this comic, loved how Wally West was given the treatment he deserved. And his old suit!!! That was awesome.

I am a fellow massive fan of the flash thanks to both the TV show and the comic of recent years. It’s awesome that while he finally gets his due and pretty much voice is what everybody has been saying since Barry returned from the speed force. He was shoved back and Barry took center stage. He was even shoved out of the DC multi-verse following flashpoint. Wally needs his own comic series back and I hope this is the lead in.

Honestly thought this was an awesome issue. To see them address the character assassination of Wally from Heros in Crisis and finally move past it was therapeutic. I'm really hoping when the full DC Death Metal album drops we get a speed metal song inspired by this issue.

Two of the best story arcs for Wally West, were Savitar and the Black flash. The page where his eyes glow and he regains his speed was so sick.

Couple of questions: 1. How and when did jay garrick(pre flashpoint) gain access to the speed force and why? 2. How is it possible that Jay Garrick (new 52) can exist in the same timeline as the original Garrick? And why does he have a connection to the speed force? 3. How are the earth 2(pre flashpoint) and earth 2 (new 52) heroes in the same universe without any spatial temporal paradoxes?

The one-shot tie-in was quite good and solid end to Joshua Williamson 2016-2020 The Flash Run too #TheFlash #DarkNightsDeathMetal

I wonder when this is over what will they do with Wally? I know this can be summed up in 2 possibilities 1) put a bridge over and forget everything that happened or 2) continue with your story and deal with the consequences of your actions (assassinations, cover-ups, having a new "power" that must keep under control all the time (I mean that of shooting lightning that kills everyone around him (power that no flash or speedster has shown before or after)), that his identity is no longer secret, the return of his children (and when they find out that their father became a murderer) and many many other things.
