Good on Blake for somehow squeezing eight guys onto a small stage and making it loom awesome.

Why American head was not a triple platinum seller I don't know. Love this tune

This song comforted me during my bout with Covid. I don't know why folks skipped over this LP it is my fave by them and the logical evolution up from Soft Bulletin.

Great song...sad to see that this is one of the last performances with that lineup (and love hearing Micah Nelson on this tune). American Head is wonderful and a hidden gem in their catalog.

Hardly hidden. I’ve heard nothing but good things about it.

@Zealant I feel that until it gets mentioned in the same breath as Soft Bulletin or Yoshimi, it'll always feel underrated.

I just now realized that this video was the very last "live" performance with Michael Ivins and Jake Ingalls in the band... so... Michael's LAST live show with the Lips was on the same tiny stage as his FIRST live show with the Lips... a little over 38 years apart. ❤❤❤❤❤ Kinda gives me chills... 🥹 makes this recording even more special. 🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰
