Finally a time to show off everyone's inventions. If you're unaware, the Invention Convention is an event when college students from Lansing, Michigan gather together to create something.
(The Invention Convention is completely fictitious and has nothing to do with the college, assuming that it even exists.)
It could be a completely original creation (which nearly no one even wanted to make) or an enhancement of an existing work (which nearly everyone made).
But that's precisely when they believe the day is finished and that tomorrow will be like any other.
Foreshadowing is used to suggest or hint to readers about something that will happen later on in a work. When used effectively, foreshadowing is a great tool for building suspense and dramatic tension for readers. Emotional anticipations of character actions and/or story points may be established. This can improve the meaning of a literary work, increase the reader's enjoyment of it, and facilitate the reader's ability to draw connections between it and other works of literature.
