Ah, yes, a Shadow Under Idnish. That Dwarf surely had the Idnish look about him.

It's like a mixture of The Shadow over Innsmouth and At the Mountains of Madness told in Dwarf Fortress. Very cool!

Took me far too long to get the premise, so very reminiscent of Lovecrafts work! Once it clicked it was like listening to his audiobooks all over again. Really liked this, more please!

@@henrisummers6694 Well you knocked it out of the park. Really reminded me of "At the Mountains of Madness". Could have done with describing architecture as "Cyclopean" a few dozen times though heheh

@@crumpetsounds Either that or antediluvian! ;P I have to admit that At the Mountain of Madness is one of my favourites. The albino penguins just make that story perfect.

I love that you can get underground invasions now. Maybe in the future (or if someone is good at modding) we could see dark elves showing up with metal equipment and tamed cavern monsters and beasts acting as dark forces who appear underground rather than on the surface

16:27 had no idea about some of those animal men. Like the nautilus and cuddlefish. Are they new or just something I missed? Cause DF has so many animal men races

I think the aquatic races of men tend to stay in their biomes so generally you won't see them. Though I have seen Spongemen in rivers before.

I know you won't always get every animal man race in one world cause some might not spawn at the start and others could go extinct during the world history before you start playing

There's no training like live training. Honestly something more people should do to get their military dwarves skilled up before a proper dark force arrives at their fort

I prefer live training. Dwarves need to be hardened. Nothing like a bath in blood and guts to get you going!
