Maybe it's all the years of watching late-night political shows especially Trevor Noah and John Oliver, but I rarely watch or listen to movie reviews for fun anymore unless I know there's gonna be some humour and they won't take it too seriously. The Weekly Planet are the best at it, because it's essentially a comedy podcast, but Cris is also great at it. BTW I would totally listen to a 3C podcast. 👀 Though I do know 3C Live is kinda just that.

I kinda hate seeing movies with my friends because I’m always the one inviting them and there’s always the thought in the back of my mind “oh god they hate the movie and now they hate me.” That’s happened once and it traumatized me for life lol

I have a friend who I’ve been showing a bunch of my fav movies and classics too and I always feel like he hates it. He’s so silent unless I ask him questions at the end. He never watches anything on his own or with other people so I feel like it’s my job to educate him on the essential movie experiences.

@@3CFilmsClips I'll be 29 years old on March 8th. I recovered from an Osteotomy at 20. I enrolled at Massasoit Community College at 20. I got a job as an usher at Showcase Cinemas at 20. I got my first headshots done at 22. I graduated from Massasoit Community College with an Associate's Degree in Theater Arts at 25. I transferred to Bridgewater State University for my Bachelor's Degree in Film at 26. I finished 16 acting classes on my acting resume in six years at 27. I wish I could have done more. I wish I could have appeared in one family comedy movie while I'm still in my 20's. I'll graduate from Bridgewater with my Bachelor's Degree in Film this December.

honestly, going to a movie alone is nice and relaxing, especially if the theatre has very few people in it.

This is coming from that one kid, who’s been madly obsessed with those chipmunk movies. I was that one kid who couldn’t shut up quoting lines after dragging my family to watch it with me.😂 But when it comes to my first movie theater date, It was The FNAF Movie. Strangely, the issue wasn’t the date between me and my girlfriend. It was crazy FNAF teen girl fans who couldn’t shut up. As one or two of them took pics of their feet as the movie was playing.💀 While the kid sitting next to me, was more mature and respectful than the other teen girls in the theater. As The little boy was talking to his dad about the FNAF lore in the movie. After It was over, at least the weird department was gone. Then both me and my girl went out for a walk to the park and at ate Five Guys.😂

Got stood up by a girl back in high school I was already at the movies and we were supposed to see that movie Tomorrowland(doubt anyone even remembers that movie) but I ended up just watching Avengers Age of Ultron for a second time

I LOVE going to the movies by myself. Personally since I have different taste in movies and with movies getting more expensive, I wanna make sure I’m getting my money worth watching any movie. Plus some of my friends and I have different taste in movies. Best to see it by yourself and it also helps improve your solo experience

I love going to the movies by myself, never saw anything wrong with it. The best is when you have the whole theater to yourself. I've been in a couple awkward situations in public that makes me appreciate being alone at times.

I never even realised it's not normal to go to theaters by yourself. I've only been to movies with friends 2 times since I started going back to theaters after the pandemic, in which I've gone about 50-60 times overall

Lowkey watching movies by yourself is like therapy,I enter stressed and leave happy😂

I had been making plans for two years prior to Amazing Spider-Man 2 where me and at least one friend would hit up whatever comic book film was released. That time, nobody showed but I wanted to save some face and make the most of my evening, so that's my first. I'll always treasure the times I go to the theaters with friends, but you're certainly not wrong in saying there's value in seeing a movie all by yourself.

I usually like to go to the movies with a friend or 2, though often times I like to see a film for a second or third time by myself to consolidate my opinions, and I honestly find it very peaceful.

I feel watching with friends can be used when it's a *BIG* movie (e.g. Avengers, DC or Avatar). Sometime's watching a film solo feels like you're actually attached towards the film.

I went to go see DBZ Super Broly twice by myself. Before that I went to see Justice League by myself, that was pretty awkward, wish the movie was better. Also saw Wakanda Forever by myself, that opening scene with the Dora Milaje, sounded amazing in Dolby

I dont really go out to the movies that much unless its something I really want to see. The first time I went to the movies alone was when I saw FNAF in October. I liked the movie and im ngl I kinda felt peaceful. Mostly because I dont spend money alot I mostly save. so spoiling myself or taking myself out once in a while felt great lol.

For some reason, this literally reminded me that the Chipmunk creator's son's widower is trying to sell the franchise for $300 million. The last thing to ever even come out of Alvin and the Chipmunks was a CGI series on Nickelodeon which had a weird as hell art style.

Cinema by yourself is underrated

It's okay Chris. Same thing happened to me too. I was in 8th grade, and I was talking with this girl I liked. I pulled the nerve to ask her out to the movies, and she agreed and planned on watching Infinity War. The day came and I was nervous, I took her a flower and chocolates and my dad drove me there. I then texted her that I was there, and she told me she wasn't going to go after she specified that she was on her way. It turned out she didn't even want to go on the date to begin with. I then went and bought some popcorn and a drink, and that was my first time watching a movie alone(I was 13) and learned the hard truth of getting rejected.

Chris, I was also 14 in 2009, and I went and saw the Squeekuel willingly because I wanted to! I was a big fan of the cartoon 😂 Can confirm, you didn’t miss anything and made the right choice!

I go to the movie theater by myself and I love it. If someone doesn’t want to watch a specific movie with you then go by yourself, it’s just a lot o fun going to movies by yourself of films you want to see and no one else

I went to see spiderman: No Way Home because my friends stood me up and I was that adamant about going to see it in theaters mainly for Tobey and Andrew. It wasn't that bad what made it embarrassing was one of my old high school teachers was also there seeing it by himself. I'm excited for ghostbusters frozen empire but if my friends won't go with me to see that one I'll just go by myself again.
