This was really satisfying to watch

I, a young guy who likes to fix his own tech coming from Apple, LOVED how easy it is to work on this phone... I had to replace the back camera glass and it was super cheap and easy! Plus, it's extremely cool that Xiaomi themselves made a teardown and assessment video themselves, while Apple is out there pairing things to the motherboard and asking €600 to fix a scratched up back glass

Hi! Do you still have that phone used in teardown? I broke my mi10tpro and the problem is in the motherboard already, if you don't mind i want to buy the motherboard to be replace in my phone, this is one of the hopeless case for the technician here in the philippines coz they can't find replacement for mi10tpro until i saw this video. I'll give you my details if you notice my comment.

Should remove the battery first before the motherboard.. I think,

As someone who fixes phones daily... inluding this one... you made one big mistake, you didnt disconnect the battery at first glance :p could have shorted the board, because you are using metal tweezers(not plastic tools) to unplug the FPC cables... tsk tsk tsk

That's not a dummy. It's an ambient light sensor that'll supposedly make autobrightness switching much more accurate. Nah curved displays are just a barrage of mistouches waiting to happen.
