The life of a football scout - how scouts find the next generation of football talents and what it's like to shape the future for so many young, ambitious football players. In the third episode of the Right To Dream documentary series, we follow scouts from the Right To Dream Academy in their search of next generations of football academy stars. Here, you will get an idea about what football scouts are looking for in young football players who dream of becoming a professional football player, but also get a unique behind-the-scenes look at the life of being a football scout in one of the poorest, harshest scouting environments in the World. Over a period of 20 years, Right to Dream has built a regional network of over 1300 grassroots clubs in West Africa, which served as their scouting takes platform every year. Through the eyes of scouts Jeremy Seethal and Derek Boateng, we’ll take you through Right to Dream’s deep scouting process and give you an insider's view on how they identify strong characters with exceptional academic and footballing ability in such an exciting scouting environment where talent is everywhere. This is a story about dreams and the passion of Right to Dream scouts to nurture future leaders in football who will eventually offer next generations of Africans a chance to excel on the world stage.

This actually made me realise how actually lucky I am, and how little I invest in football Thank you unisports 💖
I felt the passion coming from Derek Boateng. I also shed a tear. Bless him. His heart is in the right place. He should keep pushing for the best for these up and coming superstars. Thank you Unisport for highlighting my country Ghana.
These sorts of associations shouldnt be just limited to one region, it must be globalized. Many countries around the world don't receive a high number of scouts... There are so many talents that are left out... Their dreams shatter and they find no motivation to find a new path for themselves. These associations bring hope to those who are lost, please please do this for the future of football 🙏🙏 Excellent video #unisport ❣️

This makes me beyond grateful to live in a country like Australia where i have access to so many luxuries that these young boys dont. And yet every day they still give it their all for the love of football ❤️ very inspirational and a great watch
It gave me Hella goosebumps when I saw those kids training at the hot weather.

Unfortunately those talents play cricket..indian parents are totally against their kids dream in other sports bcs they believe it won't settle the kids life.

I've been scouted before for South African district to play in the tournament it was an experience of a lifetime 2 years ago feels like yesterday COVID came and then theres not a lot of football here I wish scouts could come again
