    🎵 For goodness sake, Barbie's got the hippie hippie shake! 🎸 These dolls are so great, and they're from my childhood too. I didn't get them then, but I've picked up all of them in used condition and without their great original outfits, from flea markets later. Except that beautiful Christie doll, you just don't see that one much. And I love that outfit the best with those long sleeves and that colorful printed fabric. What a fun nostalgic video. 😊

    I love the Live action Barbie ,she looks like a woodstock star, I would love to get one. They are always so high on ebay. I remember hippy looking teenagers when I was a kid in the 70s, they would dress like this and I would wave to them and throw peace symbols! They would wave back, what a fun time to be alive and music was the best!

    Love these Live Action girls, thanks for sharing! I didn't have any growing up ... I was probably a bit too young to get one myself (would have been 5 or 6) and my youngest older sister would have been too old for her by then (14 or 15) so there was a gap in my Barbies lol!! I don't have one now, either, but I love the look of the those Barbies. Maybe someday! I have a "vintage inspired" line of clothes in my shop, am thinking I should design something for this era, with flowy sleeves and bell bottoms! I suppose my Malibu PJ or Yellowstone Kelley could model. I could get inspired by your outfit lol :)

Could wear flats and heels? I had Live Action Barbie with the motorized stage as a kid, loved that doll. I remember watching Sonny and Cher on tv playing with it lol. I'm going to add these dolls to my collection, the NRFB ones are pricey though aren't they. Off I go to ebay down another rabbit hole LOL😁 all thanks to Sue's Barbie Love! Thankyou 💟💟💟

    SBL, you freakin' hippy but fans love you!!! From a seaside summer vacation to the depths of the peace & love movement SBL caravan of magic takes you everywhere! You continue to influence me: I liked your Marlo flip TNT Barbie so I am waiting for one to be delivered via eBay tomorrow. There was a perfect one in the right bathing suit going for $58 all week but then a day before auction it jacked up to $150 so I knew I wasn't going to be able to win with my $170 so I did a Buy It Now on a less perfect one for the sum total of $112. With an original to the doll but WRONG bathing suit. Sue's Barbie Love do you happen to know if I will be able to restore the dolls hair to perfect (it possesses all the right elements) to be happy with this sale? Described as "gorgeous but not mint" from the photos I am not exactly sure what to expect. I see you as a kind of spiritual advisor and so I seek your council.. And now back to SBL's love in. Playing now...

    Marlo flip has easy to work with hair. It is soft and mostly retains that memory flip. I like using the rubber band method to keep it very neat . Enjoy the love in..🥰😍

    SBL, not to show you up but I have the greatest fake sunflowers in the world. I purchased them at Michaels several years ago. Still holding up and they look so real.. They have long stems that are even kind of prickly. As a horticulture expert can you tell me the exact appropriate time frame to display them? I already basically know. They are late summer/autum flowers, but what exact date do you feel they are ready to arrive and of course you would want them taken down certainly after Thanksgiving to avoid the Christmas rush?

  • @garywarmee4367

    @garywarmee4367

    2 жыл бұрын

    Seriously, I have always rejected these later dolls out of the 60s but now I think some of them as displayed by you are cool! I like the orange Living Barbie beside your rocker! The Marlo flip is also a later doll I now covet. (see above) . I have thought of real eyelashes on Barbie as something I would not want but now I see them as historic and fun. All the dolls you feature (not done with video!) have Mattel quality, they are just produced from the later bright era. If the early wardrobe had all the zippers & buttons, linings, well, in 1970 the country was doing no fuss no muss polyester so be it! Movin' with the times! As is Suer's Barbie Love.
