I think adding a physical fishing video with these individual boxes would be a great idea. Bank, kayak, or boat..whatever you have available. The Jr. Contender is a very very light weight swimbait. Anything very 3/4oz is more ideal.

Ive never used em but the ppl who have LOVE em!

throw colors u wouldnt think would work also throw lures u think arent in season thank me later. Not that u care but the only thing i throw are chatter baits swim jigs spinnne bait is my goto confin bait and afrog when it calls for but mainly ill have a chatter bait and spinner bait tied on all my baitcasters diffrent colors and sizes and always works for me

I believe a lot of googan crap is on some kind of sale on tackle wearhouse.. you should look em up and see what you would have saved buying them individually… that would be a good video

I stopped buying the Googan boxes. I noticed that they repeated the same lure and color among a lot of the boxes.

Had that last lure. Absolute garbage. Check the spot the split rings attach to. 4 lb bass will break it

I used to hate spinner baits but my buddy told me to use a double Colorado blades man first cast a 6.6 grabbed it!! And broke it lol

Sorta. Finesse is small stuff. Like a 2.8 kaitech or drop shot baits and Ned rigs.

I've been wacky rigging the past couple years. I love it, but you got to be carful on what hooks you use. The wacky hooks you can buy, you have to really set the hook hard and keep tension. So I use a reg EWG hook, and it seems to work a lot better.

You should learn how to use the wacky hooks. You don't need to swing away like a jig. They are light wire hooks thus you don't need to have a heavy Hookset. For instance drop shot You only reel down on them. They set the hooks themselves. Wacky rig is easy to hook fish. Don't know what your doing wrong. Ewg hooks just don't cut it when wacky rigging.

@@pain_weaver I have various sizes of wacky hooks and rigs. It just seems like I get them to stay on. SO I started setting the hook. I'll try reeling down and see how that works. I may even off set the hook a wee bit. Thanks man.

@@shelbo1000 yea I have alot of various sizes too. Also if the bass keep coming towards you after they take the bait it makes hooking them a pain wich they can spit the bait or can't get a good hook due to where the hook is in the mouth or its outside the mouth. Keep trying. Sometimes dead sticking it is the way to go. They hook themselves for sure that way

@@pain_weaver They do work really well if you nose hook a tiny curly tail for skip jack and moon eye. If you fish big rivers. I live real close to the Falls of the Ohio in Clarksville, IN. You never know what you can catch there. I caught a Bowfin last year and I didn't know what it was. I thought it was a snakehead. People trash Drum fish, but it's one of the funnest fights you can have. Beside all the white bass species.

To me, I'd rather invest money in the individual lures, their hard baits, than to buy the kit. It's my opinion that they basically throw in their best sellers and best selling colors. I won't touch their soft plastics though, they're garbage.

Alright my dude, the spinnerbait is what I'm hung up on. You never catch anything on a spinnerbait? Holy Crap! I'm 39 and grew up on spinnerbaits. Spinnerbaits are awesome! If you use them correctly (just like any bait). Other spinnerbait is so versatile, over logs, through debris, in cover, open water..... but it's OK. I have no lipless game whatsoever.😂

You got taken. I'm surprised they still send out cranks since as far as I know the patent was blocked. Thus it's a rip from another much better company. Those prices are inflated. None are worth what they say on the card. Too many people don't know the shady practices of those youtubers. I'd rather back a company that has integrity.

"Prices are inflated" Yamamoto senko: $7.69 Strike king ocho: $4.59 Bass pro sticko worm: $6.69 Googan lunker log: $5.99 They cost about them same as most of the well accepted brands, so this argument just isn't true, and that's just the worms. It's the same story with the creature bait, I compared the bandito bug to the strike king rage bug and the berkley chigger craw and it was a very similar price. Edit: I'm going to preface this by saying I don't use many googan baits, I really only use the bandito bug as a trailer

Have you seen the videos on googan baits copying the 6th sense lures very interesting and suspicious

Wouldn't surprise me honestly. I used to buy their stuff and some of it looked similar to other brands. Most of the fan base are either new to fishing or are very young

So if you are not a karls member the total comes to $107.37 without tax. If you are a karls member or use their free trial it's $80.08 without tax. Finally karls member and get a promo code $73.63 without tax. All would be free shipping. I thought these crates were supposed to be a much better value. I understand mtb because it gives you a variety and it makes you try different lures. I don't hate on googan . I use primarily the bandito bug. But to say that you are getting a good value out of that box is really misleading. Maybe it's me. I am a karls member and I grab some of these boxes when they have a promo and they are super cheap but pick the lures and colors that work for you rather than getting stuck with some stuff that may not work for you. One downfall I see is that all their stuff is made in China. Wish it was all American made.
