Jess, when you were talking about the little 4ft beds and you said "the bed you are sitting in right now..." I actually teared up. I have never watched anyone who made me feel so welcome and treated viewers like we were right there with you. At this very stressful time in my life, as I am caregiver to my 3 eldest siblings who need different levels of help, I am so grateful to you and your family for including us in your journey. THANK YOU!!

This video brings me so much joy. Because of your family and the post on this channel I was given the courage to build my inherited family land to its former glory. Watching you through all of it we now have chickens, 3 goats, and an abundance of garden space for the family to gather in and teach their children the life our generation got the privilege to experience. My grand father, great grandfather, and 2nd great grand father harvested off our 30+ acre land until covid hit and my grand parents were no longer able to tend to it. Now my husband and I have taken on the responsibility to regrow this into a place of gathering for our family and friends just as you have through your videos. Thank you so much for what you do.

Thank you, Jess, for taking me along on your mosey through your garden. I loved it. I always took a garden walk with my mother every time I returned home to visit her. Such precious times they were. She and I were the only ones in a large extended family who developed a real passion for gardening. The others never understood how we could spend hours examining and discussing every living thing out there. But when you love something, you just need to share it. My mother died young - over 32 years ago now. Since her passing it's been hit and miss finding people to share deeply with about our gardens. That's why I do so much appreciate your chats from the garden. Even though I can't be there in person, it's the next best thing. Your passion definitely comes through. And it touches my heart. Blessings to you.

I would love ❤ a "weekly recap" video instead of a Sunday night live. You and your family answering 3-4 questions out of each video. I always have questions & see plenty asking the same questions. I would so look forward to a recap. Happy gardening!

Thankyou for the tour video today! Got the news about new regulations making it so I can no longer sell baked goods at my local farmers markets, a major loss for me. Although I had been disconnected from gardening for a bit there and maybe this is a door opening saying gardening is what I should be doing right now, I’ve completely re fallen in love with the garden and your videos only further my love for it!

I didn't think I would experience that because I do mostly containers, but I got a few this year. it is very exciting to find volunteer babies. 👍😀🌻🌱🌼😎🌷😍

I love how you approach the land as a steward, not an owner. It’s such a mental shift that makes you a caretaker for the future of the land you’re on rather than controlling it and molding it based on the ‘now’ needs. The future owners of your property have blessings reaching out to them into their future that started the moment you and sweet Miah acquired your property. I hope that’s what your long term vision teaches people, to become caretakers with an eye to the big picture

They add life and beauty to my yard and I thank God for them! I love to see things grow, I get excited to see new growth of all kinds, especially in people! Thank you for your videos I really love them!

While I was studying abroad, I gained some friends from the western US. When me and my two fellow Ohioans said we could smell or feel the rain coming, they looked at us so funny. And we were like, “What, you can’t smell the rain?! It’s in the air!” Haha The ending reminded me of that. 😂☺️😘

Love my volunteers - cosmos, calendula, dill, cilantro - such a gift and a reminder that nature doesn't need us to keep going. Many years ago I did let too much dill grow and it overwhelmed some of my other plants, so now I do try to be practical about how many volunteers to let grow. One of the delightful aspects of this is all of the volunteer petunias in my greenhouse - we bring in the hanging baskets in the fall and the seeds end up in the bed below. Such a delight in the depth of winter to have flowers in the greenhouse with no effort on my part at all. Have a solar battery greenhouse with minimal heating from a very small electric radiator when it get really cold here in the foothills of Colorado.

My local greenhouse always reminds people when planting perennials to remember Sleep, Creep, Leap. They settle in the first year, focus on roots the second year, then show growth the third year. If the clematis is still smallish on the second year, wait a little longer.

LOVE the tours! It’s bittersweet that you’re leaving it but what a gift for the next family to add their touch. In the past when we did a move, I was grateful to be able to leave it so much better with the love I had poured into it. And the memories you’ve created for and with your babes is so great!! Maybe you already planned but wanted to mention- my parents took pictures of their entire garden and yard the last year before they moved so the new owners could see where everything was and what had grown. They’re yard was lovely and the new owners enjoyed it being passed on to them with love and care. Blessings to you and yours, love from California 💕

Yay! Thank you for this wonderful first garden tour of the season. It's amazing how much you pack into that space. Please show the cosmos when they are blooming. I can't wait to see them. They are some of my most favorite flowers, and the bees love them, too. (That's a bumble bee on a cosmos in my profile picture.) :-)
