The *FIRST DAY* Of Route 9 Metroline Operation ( NBFL Observations ) London Bus Changes

Today is the first day of route 9 Metroline operation. The route was operated by London United (RATP), From Stamford Brook (V) with New Routemasters, And Enviro 400 Hybrids and Gemini 3s occasionally. The route now runs from Brentford (AH) with New Routemasters.
To make space at garages, routes 218 and 306 have been transferred to Stamford Brook (V) and Holloway (HT).
Route 9 runs from Hammersmith Upper Bus Station to Aldwych. Via Kensington Olympia, The Design Museum, High Street Kensington Station, Kensington Palace, Royal Albert Hall, Knightsbridge, Hyde Park Corner, Green Park Station, Piccadilly Circus, Trafalgar Square, and Charing Cross Station.
This is a very sad day for me, as the 9 is one of my favourite routes. Even though the allocation will stay the same, the 9 will always have a special place in my heart. Fun fact, my 5th ever proper video was filmed on the 9, back on October the 27th, 2017 ( which, somehow, was 7 years ago! )

218 and 306 video coming soon:
Today, routes 218 and 306 have been transferred. Route 306 has been transferred from Brentford (AH), to Holloway (HT). And route 218 has been transferred from Westbourne Park (X), to Stamford Brook (V). This is due to route 9 moving from RATP at Stamford Brook, To Metroline at Brentford (AH).
Route 218's part allocation of Wright Streetlites have been replaced by Enviro 200 MMCs. The route runs from North Acton Station to Hammersmith Bus Station. Via Gypsy Corner, Acton Main Line Station, West Acton Station, Acton High Street, Acton Central Station, Acton Vale, Ravenscourt Park Station, And Hammersmith Station (Hammersmith and City, and Circle Lines).
Route 306 runs from Acton Vale Bromyard Avenue to Fulham, Sand's End. Via Ravenscourt Park Station, Hammersmith Upper Bus Station, West Kensington Station, and Fulham Broadway Station. The route will pass to Transport UK London Bus ( Abellio ) from the 13th of April 2024.

@@MostlyBuses1it will happen once all VWHs are reblinded which need to be done for the 481 in May. I do think some VWHs already contain the 9 but im not too sure but there will be some appearances soon

@MostlyBuses1 yeah i thought it was a newer rendition. But turns out its the name for the entire fleet. They seemed to have replaced alot of their gearboxes. Or changed some method of traction, they dont seem to make that nice motor/gearbox ambience they used to make. At least some of the refirbished ones. Some sound the same. Some are completely just engine noise. This is the sound im reffering to. The c10 caentano busses have pure EV motors and no engine so you can just hear pure traction motor /gearbox sounds kzread.info/dash/bejne/qamfrdiJlsmeeso.htmlsi=K6L__j0nlKBW2ozM

I think this route should get extended to Chiswick business park or Chiswick high Road (Turnham Green) as there aren’t any routes from Kensington or central London that go there

27 used to run from Chalk Farm in Northwest London to Chiswick Business Park through Central London. Now it only runs as far as Hammersmith

@@user-np5gf9ct6b I remember that tbh 27 didn’t go in proper central it went on the outskirts of central. When I meant central in the other comment I meant areas like Piccadilly Circus and Trafalgar Square. It’s either 27 gets extended back or 9 gets extended more west. I think 9 because it’s shorter than 27.

I think the 9 should personally be extended to gunnersbury or acton town as the 27 i think it ahould be going back to chiswick business park and a small extension to parliament hill fields or maybe another extension for the 9 going to warren street following the 1,and 205 with the 134 for terminating operation making the 9 go to warren street and gunnersbury or acton town with the 27 going to parliament hill fields and chiswick business making it more useless for our communiters

And i think 27 should get ratp gemini 3 volvo b5lh and gemini 2 volvo b5lh replacing the rputemasters and also 9 using new elctroliners from the bus 204 metroline electroliner
