my uncle had ra2 plus yuri's revenge and thats what id be playing with my cousin back in the day, alongside starcraft 1 (with the gundam mod for some reason) and warcraft 3. ive played generals, zero first i think though i forget where... but i'd immediately recognise the chinese and us ones, and i believe china was my most played faction, probably because of the flamethrower tank.

Crossfade - Cold, fitting for Generals. Especially that Zero Hour Mod: "Reborn" Generals was actually my first C&C game I played since it was only available in computer shops in Philippines. Followed by Red Alert 2 and Yuri's Revenge. Those games were my gateway to the Command & Conquer universe and I am grateful to have played them.

Guess I’m a dinosaur. My mom, who herself was in the military, always loved milsims. She introduced me to CNC Dawn in the late 90s and we haven’t gone back. I have played every title except Rivals. Yes, including the 4bidden one. Honestly, if I were to pick a favorite, it would be Generals and ZH. There’s just something magical about them.

My first experience with CNC was the N64 cartridge I had borrowed as a child. After I begged my parents to get me a copy of the game, we couldn't find it anywhere near us, but then we found Tiberian Sun at a yard sale a few weeks later. Tiberian Sun still has one of the best atmospheres of any of the CNC games.

The N64 version was the very first 3D RTS of the series.

I played the first CnC on a demo disc ages and ages ago as a kid, and distinctly remember thinking it was the ONLY good game present on that disc. RA2 is technically the first "proper" CnC game I played in entirety and fell in love with, though, so it doesn't count!

Before Tiberian Dawn, Dune 2 was a Dune game. After Tiberian Dawn, Dune 2 was a Westwood game. After Red Alert, Dune 2 was a Command and Conquer game. After Dune 2000, Dune 2 was a Dune game.

First C&C I played was the original from a demo disk way back in the day. It was RA1 that got me hooked due to modding and burying Stalin alive in the rubble of the Kremlin was just icing on the cake. The mods were awesome including the animu ones where someone created a mod based around a popular at the time show called nuku nuku. Sometimes I wish I could still find those old mods but I doubt many of them survived the sterilization of the internet. Thanks for making me feeling my age.

Generals is the proof for me that EA knows how to make good games if they set the right mind to it. Still my favorite game of the franchise. Started out with RA2 but i've finished the campaign of every C&C game. Generals just hits different.

Hell yeah! I'm a damn dinosaur!! I still remember how I got into C&C and gaming as a whole. My dad bought the PC Gaming magazine with a demo for C&C. It was the first four missions for Nod and the whole campaign for GDI. I played it for hours! Then when we went to visit his family in California, his cousin had RA2 and I played it the whole time we were there. RA is still my favorite timeline, as it is what got me into history and loving WWII Era.

hah, yeah. when that song plays from their playlist, it means you're in the point of no return as the battle size gets more massive - the game's about to crash and even if you save, there's little chance you can load it back.

Played the first red alert when I was 7yo, family used to own a computer business and someone had installed it on one of the PCs. Couldn't understand wtf was going on, but it's exhilarating that it gave you complete control over everything unlike any other game I've played before. Then played RA2, Tiberian Sun/Dawn, Firestorm, when I was 10-12yo, then during high school had LAN parties for Renegade, C&C Generals ZH, RA3, C&C3.

i’ve never played generals, but i heard a LOT of times that it’s an excellent game. i’ve been playing RA2 since 2003-2004 i.e since i was 6-7. if someone said that RA2 is the greatest game of all time, i wouldn’t ask “why?”.

Mine oddly enough was Dune 2000. Ordos briefer dude was siiiiiiick, i kept thinking of him when i saw Yuri in RA2 when i hopped on at 9 years old. Made 2001 a much more... bearable year for me.

I found out Command & Conquer existed by finding a video of Red Alert 2 on KZread in 2008. Soon after, I had the entire franchise. Haven't stopped playing ever since. Never will.

Remember holding the first of all legacy C&C in my hands and my stepdad bought it for himself, but never played it and forbid me to. I had been 10 or so and realized which path to go. 6 years later I played Red Alert II for the first time of my life. Glorious. And so many LAN sessions in Generals..... And hell yeah, I loved Renegade.

I remember it like it was yesterday, going to a friend's house and playing the original red alert. Excuse while I go grab more bananas.

I think my first one was either Generals or Red Alert 2 but I cannot remember it precisely. My father was always playing these before I did so I tended to sit beside him and watch him play, when I was younger that is.

I vividly remember my first C&C experience. We were all huddled around a tiny CRT tv hooked up to my mates ps1 watching him play the bad Bad Neighbours level of covert ops. Will never forget it even after 25 years

That song in Generals (even though it's only in the mod) made me want to play Generals once again.

I love how generals is so accurate. That song is just always in the game hahaha.

Unironically my first CnC game was Renegade, and I even didn't know it was an RTS franchise back then. After that, I lurk into this franchise from Red Alert 1 (both PC and Retaliation), Red Alert 2, Generals, and Red Alert 3.

Tiberian Sun for me. Used to skip school and hang at an internet cafe playing the game during the early '00s.

The first CnC i played was red alert 2 in a random internet cafe room in a hotel I was stayin while on vacation with my parents. I don't even remember where I was on vacation. I think it was rainy, we couldn't go out, the hotel had an internet cafe and my mom bought me an hour to pass some time rather than just stay in the room and watch tv. I've actually not played since then but a while later my friends downloaded Generals and gave it to me to play it multiplayer. I loved the game, still do. We still play a few games once every few years when we remember it.

Was introduced to CNC with RA2 ,When my cousin handed me a burnt cd version of it from her original copy, back when my age was still in the single digits. Got CNC the first decade later on (can't remember when) and got addicted to all the CNC titles on it. Till this day I still revisit the classics
