A lot of what you said just flatly isn't accurate. Clearly there is a lot more detail and higher resolution her than in the original. It's not even comparable. Secondly, I think you're confusing art direction with laziness. Everything is made to look clean, sterile, and minimalistic. The textures are designed the way they are purposefully. Call it lazy if you want. Some of us would rather play the game than obsess over every minor graphical detail.

I was watching The Stanley Parable trailer before i watch this video. At the beginning of the trailer, a quote from a critic shows up with the line "you'll just have to trust me". When i watch this video and it reach 3:46, where Icarus says the line, it freaks me out.

Would it kill you guys to get someone who's a competent gamer to do these kinds of videos?

I hope the handholding can be toned down a bit, the whole 'LT' scribbled on everything, the ghosts, and the health bars, they all take away from what made the previous game that clean and relaxing to play.

Am I the only one who thinks that the old game looked much better than this one? It's a shame they couldn't keep that awesome lighting of the previous game. That game looked unique and now it's just like all the other games. Also the parkour movement became even more unnatural than it was before.

Been blown away by the first game and I'm actually quite impressed by the way they took in consideration and fixed some minor problems we noticed in ME1 such as breaking the minimal environment to add more details / interaction. It looks v promising, I can't wait to experience this new journey. The nostalgia is real!

How come the stamina bar on the bottom left looks so different? That pattern looks more cool!

Rolling after a jump has to be unlocked now as a perk? A microchip gave faith the ability to see "Runner vision" in the games? I came into this video excited and after 11 minutes and 53 seconds of watching I am disappointed. That should be EA's new slogan, "EA, We turn iconic IP's into disappointments"

Someone mentioned the reason they weren't rolling is because its a perk you have to unlock. I just watched another video and the person had all the crap turned off, even to the point the objects weren't turning red to show you where to go. I am thankful at least that's there.
