lol right, it's literally easier to just learn the recoil pattern of your weapons and more versatile (for me at least)

Just do what 60-70% of the Top 500 global ranked are doing; using a hack script that eliminates recoil, gives you controller aim assist on keyboard, and automatically micro adjusts your crosshair to move towards their head once locked on. Hopefully there's a mass ban and then more people like this get the Top 500.

I wouldn't call this "actual skills", it's exploiting a poorly-tuned mechanic. This doesn't teach you to master actual gun recoil and aim better, it's teaching you how to exploit movement recoil smoothing. I know I sound like an old fart, but I've been playing FPS games for over 30 years, and this stuff irritates me. Winning a firefight cause you're exploiting doesn't make you a better player. While this isn't the same as a blatant cheat like the top 500 players do, it's still just an exploit. Instead of playing a fair game, it's now gonna be who knows about this exploit and who doesn't.

If youre on console, turn field of view all the way up and disable the feature that keeps cross hair the same across all zoom levels. Boom. No more recoil at all

That only changes your perception of recoil as the more you zoom in, the more noticeable your recoil is.

I stood in the same exact spot at the practice range and went from 2-3 mags to take out a heavy dummy to less than 1 mag taking out the heavy dummy after changing the fov from medium distance. It literally took away all vertical recoil. I hardly even had to keep my thumb on the joystick

Honestly I just tested this. Stutter stepping does nothing to reduce the recoil. Just hold fire on your mouse while stutter stepping quickly and fire at the wall. The recoil pattern doesn't change.

I tested the long range method for a couple minutes with the Fcar, the only thing I felt is that the kick in the middle of the recoil pattern is not as hard as without the spam, that's the only thing, so that + mouse to counter the recoil feels a little better. But try it vs a dummy, not the wall, vs the wall I felt the same as you.

@@Grim_Dawn8699 I tried the trial version about a year ago. It appeared to eliminate packet loss, but at the cost of increased ping. And the game just barely holds together at 200ms. 260ms just pushes it over the edge.

I think it's harder on the LMGs because the heavy's acceleration is slower, so it isn't fast enough to trigger smoothing.

the first method works well enough for me dragging horizontally opposite to your own movement, it's not perfect but 30-50m is definitely doable. Any farther than that and it's a positioning issue

For the LMGs it may be because the heavy's movement speed is too slow to make it kick in. Just a wild guess

I found it really hard to slighltly jiggle my mouse while simultaneously spamming ADAD since IM on higher sense..... So I instead just slithly lowered my mouse downwards and kind "counter the recoil" even though you are not supposed to but worked a lot better for me and I beamed the heavy from 42 meters in one clip with the fcar.

to be clear, recoil smoothing is not actually removing recoil altogether, it's just an assist. you still have to pull down to some degree, just nowhere near as much as if you are standing still

This reply sums up this whole comment section. So you "countered the recoil" and you think that "you are not supposed to" be doing that. What is wrong with gamers these days? Using an exploit to remove 90% of recoil is NOT how you're SUPPOSED to play FPS games. It's just an exploit of a poorly-tuned mechanic. You're SUPPOSED to be learning how to manage recoil with guns in an FPS game. Not meaning to single you out, but you're actually on the right track, but you're being convinced that you're "doing it wrong" by not exploiting and playing the game normally is seriously saddening.

No, the more you move with your keyboard the less recoil.

Either pull down or correct as you go

This is good knowledge to have in your brain if your watching people trying to figure out if they are cheating or not, because I didn't know there was this simple way to reduce recoil

step 1: plug in a controller step 2: be "good" or step 1: emulate a controler so that the game gives you aim assist and no recoil but using MnK step 2: be one of the top players where everyone use this to cheat safely

Emulating a controller with MnK is cheating, I wouldn't be surprised to see people get banned for it at some point.

I had absolutely no issues recoil smoothing just like in Apex for up close. Absolutely beam people. There's no way I just inadvertently pulled that off. It felt the exact same for me.

with the lmg i thing its because recoil smoothing LITERALLY doesnt work with horizontal recoil only vertical

There all just different response curves, basically changes how much or how less you have to use the right analog stick to adjust for recoil, there all pretty valid tbh, ive been switching between all 3 but I think exponential is the on I have the most success with, ( on aoex I play linear and idk what is is but apex’s response curves r mega different then the finals well for controller at least

that weird thing is called stutter stepping. Its also used in conjunction with jiggle peeking.

this doesn't seem to work for me really. I tried both AD and WS at different paces and as quickly as I can. I type at like 110 wpm so my fingers arent' that slow but it feels like i can't get it dialed. anyone else struggling to do this?

Not sure what I'm doing wrong, but I can't get the recoil to cancel by spamming movement keys. I feel like it's just much easier to control recoil by pulling mouse down. Or in fcar's case just spamming LMB at longer distances.

Both the Fcar and the AKM has 600 RPM though - so should in theory be the same?

I also will add my little thing, considering the ideal would be to move back and forward, but inputs for mkb is kinda counterintuitive. you can have 2 movement binds at the sime time! So i have forward and back on my W AND S and also on T and H (those one i feel comfortable to mash). i suggest you try this out!

I'm assuming he's using 3rd party software and increasing the games crosshair opacity to 100. This is pretty common amongst sweats because the games crosshair sways, but the bullet physics are hitscan and ALWAYS fire toward the center of the screen, so the crosshair sway means nothing and the crosshair is misleading. I'm sure you've experienced (like we all have) Missing a shot even though your crosshair or reticle was directly on your target. TLDR the games crosshair is absolute trash

recoil smoothing has nothign to do with how fast your MOUSE is moving. it has to do with how fast your character is moving...thats why smoothing works better on M than H..they move slower.

Wrong. Recoil smoothing has everything to do with how fast your mouse is moving. BUT when mirror strafing (the correct term for the "going around" TGM is describing) since the extra angle you produce (that you then correct by moving your mouse faster) by mirror strafing is directly tied to your walking speed, it indeed works better with M than H.

why not learn the recoil pattern when they're so simple and consistent? id rather have better accuracy after 20 minutes rather than worse accuracy in 10 minutes with carpal tunnel.

I call it the "patch this asap" because its exploiting a mechanic. The cheating is bad enough, we don't need this PAIRED with someone using macros.

This videos makes me even more unhappy with this game. Besides having weird/broken jumping and sliding mechanics, besides having dominance of cheaters/keyboard-aim-assisters/no-recoil-scripters, now we learned that by doing some weird movements you can completely avoid suffering of weapon recoil. This game is so broken. I don't know if I even want to play this game anymore.

We already started with these videos to justify the scripts, and then the cheats😉
