The thing with Alastor’s voice is the more sincere or honestly shocked/surprised he is, the less radio effect there is on his voice. That’s why he sounded very normal when his staff got destroyed.

Alastor's non-filtered voice makes him sound like... the cutest little high school dork in science class, ya know? It's odd, but it's oddly adorable, ya know? :P

You're the first person I've seen react to this episode who's given Alastor's "Poetry!" line the appreciation it deserves

Alastor's outro really does give up a lot more info than most of the show does. Confirms he is in fact under someone else's thumb and that he isn't as much of a top dog as he thought he was (husk trying to warn him). Moreover, if we look at alastar being a complete narcissist it becomes more clear where he is through this show. He wouldn't be at the hotel unless someone was forcing him, so like any narcissist he decided to own the project to be back in control in some way. But then he starts actually getting sucked in, caring about people where he normally wouldn't annnnnnddd then he breaks down at the end.

iirc Alastor was a serial killer (some people say cannibal but idk about that, would make sense considering all the Wendigo imagery associated with him), and he was shot by a hunter who thought he was a deer in the dark. If that's the case, it'd make sense that every time he loses control he desperately seeks more power; as someone who's always been in control of his victims, being killed on accident by something so mundane and dumb, and so outside of his control, would drive him insane

a top dog? perhaps among the overlords but if we talk on a broader spectrum he would be in the middle on the power scale. There are beings stronger than him, such as the angels or the seven deadly sins among others. Alastor doesn't need to look far to find someone who can destroy him, Lucifer can end his existence in seconds. He is lucky that Lucifer is patient and calm in nature and it is difficult to provoke or threaten him. Lucifer doesn't consider Alastor a threat that must be eradicated, Lucifer rather sees him as an annoying and arrogant idiot who is not worth killing.

Adam attacked Charlie, he and the other angles weren't supposed to do that at all and thus the deal was broken, so that is the reason why Lucifer finally step in and fight Adam.

My conspiracy is that alastors deal is with Lilith to protect Charley,that’s why his eye twitched when he saw Lucifer

Honestly I really don't want Husker and Angel to be shipped. Angel can have as many sexual or romantic potential partners as he might want, what he is missing, and in dire need of is a friend one who he can talk to and can understand him without any other issues like romances to get in the way and complicate matters and Husker might be the only one who can fill that role perfectly.

I have a theory about Lilith's appearance, it might be a shot in the dark, but it occurred to me that they never showed Eve's face and she was never mentioned again, which seems to indicate that she will have a big role at some point, she and Lilith are technically sisters since they were created in the same way and from the same origin, in which case they could be identical in appearance and will make everyone think that Lilith is the villain of the story just to reveal that it is Eve?

You need to watch Helluva Boss now because you get to see more of the sins and rings

Helluva boss is in the same universe but a completely different plot. All the out of pocket crude humor with a lot more violence.

The power scale here is that Alastor stands ZERO chance against Adam. None. Charlie has spent her whole life avoiding her power, but of she had full control of it, she ends Adam without even trying. She is the daughter of one of the oldest and highest ranking angels of all. She is insanely powerful. Mortal sinners are stuck in the pride ring of hell. The demon royalty are more powerful than they are. The 7 deadly sins beat the royalty. And Lucifer/ Charlie rule over the sins.

In raw power you're right, but if Alastor hadn't been sloppy (ironic considering he says that about Adam) he could've won. He was so arrogant he chose to fight Adam without arming himself with Angelic weaponry, and considering he got a couple of solid hits on Adam, he could probably have taken him down. So as strong as Alastor's demon powers are, Lucifer was right in episode 5: there's no substitute for pure Angelic power.

Alastors domain expansion was dope

Alastor voice is tied more to his emotions. It only drops when he is surprised or really angry that kind of thing. Staff doesn’t have anything to do with his power though.

15:20 actually there is pretty decent support for Emily technically being Charlie's aunt which comes from her known relationship with Sera and the implications for their relationship to Lucifer. Sera is Emily's older sister. It is heavily implied that this is because the Seraphim are related. If all Seraphim are related then Sera and by extension Emily would be his sisters making both Charlie's aunts.

The fact that Lucifer isn't that short but everyone is really tall because vox I like 7 feet😭

Alastor with the domain expansion

Here is one thing I realized I do not understand: Where does the timeskip of 1 month happen? In episode 6 there is still 1 month till the extermination day, then, Episode 7 starts as if they just arrived back from the court in Heaven, the people in the Hotel just wondering about Vaggie being an angel, and Charlie still crying in her room... then in the same episode they go to retrieve the weapons and the "army"...and then episode 8, and Adam comes. Or were the Cannibals staying at the Hotel for 1 month, between 7 and 8???

My theory is that she's not Lilith, she's Eve

I'm Sure this has been mentioned already somewhere but if you liked Hazbin Hotel I feel you would like Helluva Boss. Same Creator same Universe and it is already on KZread so easy access.

May I recommend you check out Helluva Boss? its a great show created by the same creator as Hazbin, It takes place in the same universe ( separate stories ) although have some Easter eggs and camios - and the show is fully on youtube. its a great reaction and I would recommend starting with the Pilot ( mostly not cannon ) - the Pilot is crazy but its a good introduction to the type of characters you are about to go on a journey with. it will be a great hazbin replacement. and the creator said she likes people doing reactions to the show so they are not super strict on copy rights

Have you ever reacted to the Hazbin Hotel song Insane? I think it's *technically* non Canon, but it's voiced by Alastor's OG voice actor and it's so good, it's Canon to me.

Pentious going to Heaven right in Front of Emily and Serah is so huge though, as both see that the Hotel works and Sinners can be redeemed and go to Heaven. This is either the Beginning of Em's downfall from Grace and going to Hell because Serah and the Rest of Heaven will not support this new Situation or even the Beginning of a internal War in Heaven itself. And also since its now confirmed that redeemed Sinners can go to Heaven when they get killed again I'm pretty sure it does work the other way around aswell, meaning Adam could now be a Sinner Soul in Hell.

To be honest alastor is strong but not as old as Adam as he is more experienced entity with angelic powers same for CHARLIE , she does have potential but still not as old and experienced as Adam plus she is not much of a fighter so Adam defeating them all is logical . I think older overlords must have more chance to win such as Zestial .
