I saw on a you tube video a family that saves their old plastic bottles and showed some rice stored in one of his bottles and the rice in one year is an oxygen absorber. All the rice in a plastic water bottle shriveled up removing all the air out of it. He did it only to demonstrate that rice is its own oxygen absorber. If you cook long grain rice, then dehydrate it or freeze dry it and you have made yourself instant rice.

Stop being mean its the spring breeding / mating season for turkeys it's natural for tucker to act like that he just needs more females he doesn't need eaten he's just doing what is natural behavior if you don't understand that then turkeys are probably not a bird you want to raise

Would love to see a lot more please. People here in Canada are getting cancer from the plane spraying they have been doing for years. They are doing more the past year, into farms and our water supply. Killing off livestock, so Farmers has to sell their farms, for cheap to the gov. Pro-tip: find a local bakery, ask them what they do with their empty icing/fondant buckets. If they normally throw them out, ask them to hold them for you. They are typically 5 gallon, food-safe, and easy to clean, and should have lids.

Liked the eggs in water and lime. Every time I see that mean white turkey my mind goes back 75 years. Neighbors had one who terrorized us and then we found out he was terrified of a friend's baby brother. We were so bad. We'd stick Tommy in the coop before we gathered eggs to scare it off. Tommy loved trying to catch it and would sometimes fuss when we were finished and left. Keep the videos coming. Thanks.

I am a retired organic chemist. I used to use our laboratory freeze dryer to remove all of the water from water solutions that contained peptides (polymers of amino acids, small proteins) leaving a fine white fluffy powder that could be stored and weighed for bioassays. I have never water glassed eggs. Once you remove the eggs from storage what do they look like? You are fortunate to have your house on your homestead where you are probably safer should the SHTF.

  • @carolynjohnson6792

Not necessarily safer really. If people are starving where do you think they'll go for food - people in apartments, condos Or people in the country that normally raise chickens, pigs, goats, cows & have a garden to freeze & can their foods from the garden. GOD Bless You 🙏 Love 🌻 from Apex NC 💜

@njohnson6792 That is why I don't follow the many prepper channels because if the SHTF you either need an army to protect your supplies or very well hidden bunkers. In any case there will always be a fighting force somewhere bigger than your own. In an urban setting there may be a higher density of poorly prepared looters than in a rural or hidden location though. Thank you and GOD bless you as well from California.
