Also I have a bit of a theory. When we go back to yellow guys flashback, duck is portrayed as a dog. Thinking back to what the lamp said about becoming your favorite animlal, could it be that he died twice? How would his death been linked to yellow guys and red guys? Or is it all a distraction from the truth?

I do have a question. I don't think your theory is wrong, but what happened to the Missing posters for the characters. For red is would make sense if he was gone and couldn't be found after the accident, but if we see yellow remember his death and remember there were flashing red sirens it indicates that the police or paramedics we're involved in one way or another, they wouldn't consider him a missing person if he was put down in the system as dead. Now moving to duck if he did die after going to the military and getting stranded in his plane he'd be M.I.A and there wouldn't be missing posters up for him, especially not posters with all three of them missing on it. Was this a Easter egg or something the creaters switched? Or is there something that we could be missing

I made a theory vid in response to yours and plan to make at least two more in January (after the holidays). I don’t think the main characters have died. Also, I don’t think Roy and Lesley were an item. Also, there’s no evidence to suggest the episodes are out of order so that can go in the timeline… Also, the spiral guy is actually named “spiral guy” as we see in episode 2’s “create a friend” book. The fact that he’s Yellow Guy’s “imaginary friend” is another nod to Wakey Wakey having existed but not anymore. A few notes and minor things you can add to your timeline: Warren the worm/eagle is fired before episode 2 and then invades the dollhouse and dies in episode 3. Roy almost definitely dies in episode 3 and his corpse is found and then discarded in episode 5. In the episode 5 Mulhoven flashback, we see Lily and Todney, David, and Yellow Guy Rat-eyes Gribbleston were all neighbors. We have proof from the flashback and one of Yellow Guy’s Brain Friends is named “Saturdavid”, so we can also infer David was killed on a Saturday. June 19 is likely a Sunday because it’s Father’s Day and June 20 is therefore a Monday. We know it’s a workday because of Episode 1. Season 2’s gonna have to be Jun 22 and there’ll probably be an episode about Tacos.

There’s also the point of Grokton and Hovris. They are characters on a show but also own a KFC-type family discount/style restaurant. In one episode Hovris tells Grolton that he can’t have Im his water, and in the Mulhoven flashback, we see Duck being confused as a dog. Yellow Guy also can’t identify dogs, and Duck is reported to have died from not drinking water. Lesley is also credited on G+H as a producer of some sort. Is Duck Hovris? Also, in G+H, their picnic is in the same location as Duck’s Chicken picnic in the YT series episode 3.

Since they don't need batteries, they wouldn't end up forgetting like yellow guy, so now they make sure to play there part until yellow guy can play his

I can’t help but wonder if maybe the teachers are trapped too. Lamp said that maybe people could come back as their favorite animal or object so maybe the teachers are other people that died now acting as an object? It’s also worth noting that it’s inconsistent how much the teachers are working with the council, since Sketchbook, Colin, Choo Choo, and Electracey all seem to never try to do anything to harm the main ones. I also have to wonder, why did Lamp tell Yellow Guy all the stuff about the council?

I never understood why yellow guy threw away his FLUFFER-NUTTER. It looked good.

this is really random to put on the last episode of a theory series, but i just finished watching yours and matpat's videos, and i have a theory. you and matpat went over how "duck got it right" in the first episode, however i think he actually didn't. what i think happened is that he got yellow guy's part right, and got a coin for that, which explains why the coffin thinks that yellow guy is dead, but it is actually duck. this is also backed up by the fact that the whole 'david' thing happened to lesley, not the creators/actors, so they wouldn't know which one represented him. totally a long shot but i just thought i'd put it somewhere! also your series is really good and i hope you get even more attention now that you are in a film theory video!

I thought it was weird that you and MatPat posted at the same time so I clicked on this video first and then the comments said you and MatPat collabed for his video! That’s so awesome! Your DHMIS videos have been amazing so I’m glad that you are getting more recognition!

On another note, your "thank you"s at the end of your videos have been so heart felt. @@jeffallen55 “it’s such a beautiful day” is the only film of his i still find hard to watch, and it is for this reason and many others that i feel it is his best; mainly because of how well it manages to encapsulate his work in every way, perfectly as for world of tomorrow, my favorite is still two, but three is absolutely incredible and you should definitely see it whenever you can. its story is so unique and detached from the first two (in the best way possible); it expands the lore and the universe brilliantly, answering questions scattered throughout the first two that you probably didn’t even remember you asked in such amazing ways, and it has all of the trademarks as well: existentialism, love, loss, longing, dark humor, classical music, etc., it’s just so great

I believe that with the KZread series you had Roy mostly in charge based on the constant refrences through the series. However after he failed to stop Red Guy from unplugging the machine he was replaced by Leslie as the lead behind the show. He stayed on but was stuck more in the background outside of specific moments.

People always assume that David is the name of Leslie’s child who died to the point where this is considered cannon but I think David is actually the name of her husband, who is represented by duck and not yellow guy. Duck is actually the first person we see die in the show, and when he’s in his grave it says “David” and then shows the life that he supposedly lived, which we know is describing ducks actual life because he got a pound after being in the workforce in episode 1 which is one of the things pictured in the video sequence on the tombstone. The tombstone says David and shows duck doing things that we know were a part of his former life, to me it seems clear that this is a big screaming hint that “hey, this is ‘David’ and this is the life he lived” which is played by duck who lived a whole life and didn’t die as a child like Leslie’s son. I think everyone was so quick to connect Leslie’s son who died in the car accident to the name David but I think David is actually her dead husband represented by duck. In the death episode when the coffin assumes that yellow guy was dead and duck tells him that it’s actually him who died the coffin says “you were my second guess.” It’s unclear where red guy fits into this but it’s clear that there are two significant deaths shown, yellow guy getting hit by a car, and duck, who lived an entire adult life before his death

Wait, what if Red Guy's and Duck's items are not what they need, but a representation of that? Thinking about it, Red Guy's item is a shovel, which may represent that he needs to die, but he "doesn't die for ages", with the closest he's been to death at the ending of episode 4, when they start fighting and the credits appear, with the episode ending right during the sound of chainsaw and Red Guy Screaming, as if someone stopped the episode before his death (also, he questions why he isn't dead in episode 1 and 2). And there is duck's item, the chips bag, which could represent food. Duck is the only character that is constantly being denied food, (the vending machine from episode 1, the chips bag not opening for him and only having 2 chips inside (one for Yellow Guy and one for Red Guy, with the episode ending before he reaches the food), him dying from dehydration, and other moments where the scene changes before he eats, such as the living slice of bread he puts in the toaster before the show skips to him singing somewhere else. So maybe that's what needs to happen, Yellow Guy gets his batteries, Duck eats and Red Guy dies.

Hey i just want to add, when you mentioned Yellow Guy's birthday, at the end of the computer episode in the original web series, the text to speech voice says "you weren't invited to the party". it's always bothered me and i hope this helps with anything, maybe a correlation between the two perhaps? though i love your content, i love your theories and I watched the one on Matt's channel right before this one since i have the bell on for your channel! Weirdly, you're the only channel i actually have the bell for LOL...congrats on that! But yeah in the original show, there was no mention of any kind of party either except in the fourth wall break just before Red's head explodes...i dunno if it might have mentioned the picnic in the love episode or not.,.since a picnic isn't a party in my opinion.

Absolutely solid work! I don't think I couldn't have been able to do this any better myself. I do have one question, someone had already asked this but what do you think about us the audience being the council? Sometimes the characters very loosely seem to be aware they are in a show. Like in the family episode when Duck tells Red Guy "people are dying to know you're 3rd would've been" and Red Guy just responds with "what people?" And if they're living their life as a performance for the council, we are the ones who watch this performance. I dunno tho, what do you think?

Great set of videos! You put a lot of thought into this and it shows. One thing about the show that could very well be nothing but sticks in the back of my mind is the Grolton and Hovris tv show. In episode 3 we see some of it after which yellow guy comments "Grolton is the dog". Red guy then corrects him, saying Hovris is the dog an Grolton is the man. In episode 5 we see some more G&H, after which yellow guy AGAIN says "Grolton is the dog"; this time duck corrects him. Again, this could just be a joke but knowing what we know now about yellow guy, how he's not as dumb as he seems and he made the same "error" twice... maybe there's something there. Still wouldn't know what that could mean though.

There is one other time that yellow guy wears a party hat, his retirement party in episode one of the show. But seeing as how this is seemingly one of the "incorrect" versions of the loop and the fact that yellow guy is young in the photo on the fridge, I don't see the retirement party really meaning anything but I'm not sure

I 1st found this channel around the 2 episode of this big dhmis theory and subscribed so I didn't lose any of the 6 episodes. All of them are well done and entertaining. Even if I have my doubts about some of the stuff it is still entertaining (idk how do you not have more subs yet).
