the dude on the bike with his kid, the kid with the drone, the crazy dude with the golf cart, the rad lady with the longboard, the cop on a skateboard, that whole skateshop crew... all these different characters coming together to support one dude on a skateboard. I seriously got emotional and so stoked at the same time watching that final push with the street full of people cheering you on. Truly a historical moment for skateboarding, im not even exaggerating.

So it wasn't just me that got emotional watching this then, seeing everyone riding along at the end, skateboarding is a family, and we are all in awe of you Chad.
You should do an update of how your body felt after no longer pushing 50+ miles a day, if you got depressed or not after the trip ended, and just how you’ve been in general since we last saw you.
Dude I'm watching this after it happened and it brought a tear to my eye. The cop skating with you, the escort, all the people that came out, the old dude at the end of the finish line looking for the high 5! You're the man Chad! Love you my dude.

i think Nietzsche had a word for the disillusionment that an adult in their 40s goes through about how they imagined the world would turn out as a child vs. how it really is, i have long since forgotten the word though (and i dont speak german). i think a LOT of us (40somethings) are going through that though. dont be afraid to reach out, nobody is alone and not every conversation NEEDS to end in a solution, sometimes just the conversation itself can do a world of good.

I’m 48 lifelong skater,, this is one of the best things I’ve ever seen in skateboarding , Chad is inspiring to say the least
When you get the police to skate next to you... That is a serious accomplishment. Putting the LOVE for skateboarding out, like this? Bruh... Hats off to you!
Remember, if you liked this journey go back and watch his 50 tricks in 50 states in 50 days challenge. Chad is another kind of beast, he's built for this type of thing and we are all better for getting to bear witness.
The integrity of the skateboard at the end of the trip goes to show the quality of products the majority of companies are putting out! Regardless man, since starting watching your videos at the end of March, I have quit drinking. It's because of this. I have skated my whole life and proud to have someone like you in our community.
Absolutely incredible achievement. Watched every day, I’m sad it’s over. Well done Chad!! Me and my son always say Yoooo! To the cows now when we’re in the car 😂

I’m so sad that the daily vlogs are officially no longer :( I started watching daily on day 5 when I saw the “ran out of water in the desert” video in my feed. And that was almost 2 whole months ago. I remember my first thought being that there was simply NO WAY he would pull this thing off. But once he made it through Texas, I began to realize it was very possible. So proud of this guy overcoming such an insane challenge.
We all rolled along with you whether u felt it or not. Congratulations Chad you deserved all the people who came out for you and more. Props homie. NGL I cried a few 😭 tears
I definitely started crying when everybody was skating and cheering him to the beach. Absolutely incredible.
This is what the world needs is feel good story’s like this. People are desperate to connect with each other. After being screwed and scared so badly the last 3 years
I wasn’t expected to cry during this… but as you added skater by skater, golf cart by golf cart to your parade through town… that love and support got me. 😢
May 19th, Chad Caruso Day. You have literally gone down in history for what you've accomplished. Incredible and well deserved. Congratulations. ❤🎉
Shout-out to the dude in the white car who almost introduced Chad to Virginia beach emergency services. You are a pillar of your community and an inspiration to young drivers everywhere. Seriously though Congratulations Chad, you earned it my dude. Must have been absolutely overwhelming at the end after spending so much time alone to roll into hundreds of people waiting to support you on this adventure. Quick shout-out to the Mayor who couldn't help himself but to make the trip about his local chamber of commerce. 😂
when that cop came skating up behind him i shed a tear cuz that just shows you the amount of unity this sport creates
