I'll repeat this for visibility. But the poster Clarins that one of the basis for artistically making Cleopatra black is the disgraced documentary where her sister is claimed to be of African descent based on *skull measurements*. Yes you heard that right, freaking skull measurements. Calling it psudo-science is giving it a compliment. And it gets even better, the tomb had no inscription whatsoever, and the only evidence linking it to Arsinoë is the mere fact that it's a grand tomb from the right time period. Apparently, the shape of the tomb was meant to invoke the shape of the Lighthouse of Alexandria, suggesting an Egyptian occupant. But that claim doesn't quite hold up under scrutiny. And, get this, the skull that they're basing their whole ethnic argument on? It doesn't even exist anymore! It was lost during World War II. All we have left are measurements taken by the original excavators, and we're supposed to just trust those as proof of the skeleton's ethnicity? Seems might as well draw doodles in the sand and say that Cleopatra looked JUST LIKE THAT. Moreover, the age of the skeleton found in the tomb doesn't line up with Arsinoë's age at death. The bones are from a girl between 15 and 18, but Arsinoë was in her mid-twenties when she died. That's a pretty substantial age difference. And the cherry on top? We don't even know if Cleopatra and Arsinoë had the same mother. They only shared a father, King Ptolemy. If they had different mothers, the entire argument about Cleopatra's ethnicity based on this skeleton completely crumbles. Lastly, the timing of this whole revelation is rather suspect. Just as the BBC is about to release their new documentary on Cleopatra, they suddenly have this big 'scoop'? Seems more like a publicity stunt than a genuine archaeological breakthrough. It's fascinating how one theory can stir up so much debate, but when you really dig into the evidence, it's clear that it's nothing but bull.

I think America has really serious probroms with their education system. Specially with world history and geoghraphy. When they started stealing Egyption history, we thought it was just one of funny oversea news in Japan since it was not our business at all. But after they made Yasuke the Portuguese African slave a samurai hero of Japanese history, we started understanding the suffering what Egyptions have now. Even though we have very tiny(Almost none) record about him until now but black americans already have no problem to make him the great black samurai who saved Japan. They even have his war records, his great bioghraphy written by medieval Japanese, even his pictures, his statues too already even though all their sources are fake that made with fake Japanese records or fake traslations but none of them want to check their sources. I recently watched an American documentary film 'Queen Cleopatra' and a historical movie, "The Woman King". Even In one of the films, an American scholar says _"I remember my grandmother saying to me, "I don't care what they tell you in school, Cleopatra was Black.""_ It was super cultural shock. Honestly. Now I start understanding why all the Eastern traditions in the Hollywood movies are nothing looks like Eastern ones but very look like Western people's oriental cosplay. I wonder if the locals or all the other Aricans can feel African tradition when they watch "The Woman King".
