Not really a bug, but it's super annoying. The camera placement on the Halo Reach Elites when in a vehicle (warthog turret for example) is so bad. You are practically blind cause the Elite model covers where you are aiming. And if you have a big gun on your back, then good luck seeing at all.

@@Trenex1000 halo 2 disconnects players from each other randomly, most of them have noticable input lag, And halo 1 2 reach and 4 dont have cross-play. Co-op in mcc is a bit of a mess currently.

I don't play xbox anymore as I play PC But i agree with that! The amount of popularity it will get as well. But not sure how there pull it over considering PC can handle much more than consoles.

If it ever does happen, it would be extremely limited. Consoles are meant to be an enclosed system simplified for the average consumer. Modding has been a huge selling point for PC for a reason.

You can run Halo 1-3 on a laptop or desktop that doesn't even have a GPU in it that was made within the last 10 years. I'm talking 60fps. People forget modern architecture of silicon doubles every 2 years. Xbox 1 and 360 had moderate GPU'S for its time. let's talk halo 3 came out 17 years ago. CPU's have 256x (ironic number a full octet XD) themselves since 2007. CPU now is the equivalent of a then GPU. not to mention clock speeds, multi-threading, DDR4 (your pc may even have DDR5)is way faster than the Xbox 360's DDR3. CPU caching L1-3 are way larger. Im not trolling I'm spitting facts. I work in IT. I built my own PC (fastest pc you could make without going to corporate enterprise level hardware) I know my stuff. It pains me to see people think they need a beast to play something so old. It's like wanting a 5k gaming rig to play Runescape, clasic wow, or to be really on the nose minesweeper.

Unfortunately Microsoft will probably never let that happen, they are massive sticklers about people using modified files on their consoles for some reason. I don't know why, some PS4 games could be legitimately modded like PES, I don't know why Microsoft has such an issue with modding console games

Final update is kinda sad, what amazing games we had as kids and I absolutely love that MCC was created, I'm still so thankful

Top of the priorities should be: Fix Halo 2 classic’s audio (essential) Integrate the original loading screens Fix CE’s cutscene aspect ratio/remove the black bars at 16:9 (like H2 classic) Add a menu music selector Uncap Halo 2’s cutscene animation framerate Integrate the end credits Use the original mission thumbnails Add Reach’s film grain and motion blur (as an option) Fix the Cortana issues with H3’s cutscenes Add CE’s after credit scene (Ruby’s Rebalanced Mod fixed this btw) Add OG Menu backgrounds Add a new intro video reminiscent of the Bungie ones Modded custom games Fix H2A cutscenes on Ultrawide displays Replace Frank with Marty in ODST Preservation of the original games presentation should’ve been 343i’s top priority since day one. And what’s painful is that MCC is so close to being a perfect museum for classic Halo, it just needs a little more work.

Being able to betray a teammate, the betrayer leaves and avoids the ban. Comes back and repeats the process of trolling you, betraying you, team killing you etc.

Problem with map voting is you always end up on the same map. It also encourages people to quit pregame if they don’t get what they want. I think halo 3s veto system is probably best. Or just removing all the crappy forge maps.

I quit gaming a few months ago but I always wanted the phantom and pelican to be flyable in halo reach. Would have made for awesome custom games.

Console mod support & full campaign cross-play are the main things I need. Then MCC could be the only thing I ever need to play. Matchmaking & anti-cheat adjustments would be nice, too.

I really want to use classic halo backgrounds on Xbox and that can easily be done with mods on console Edit: it’s a very minor thing and I won’t be upset if it doesn’t happen, but I’d also like to be able to view terminals/data pads from all games in the extras screen. It’s just ce’s, 2’s, and 4’s terminals. It’d be cool to view the collectibles from 3, reach, and odst

Stuff like that is easily done, the bigger stuff like the things he was playing in the video is more of a problem, it requires 343 and Microsoft to create something like the custom game browser for mods, and they’re notorious for taking a loooong time for stuff like that.

@@void-master9077 that’s true, it does take them awhile for this kind of stuff. If 343 does do another update for mcc, I definitely want them to do big stuff like cross platform campaign coop and bug fixes. That’s why I won’t be disappointed if the minor stuff I mentioned don’t happen.

There’s a ton of achievements that don’t work on pc atm such as getting two designator kills on sword base wiljax bradly and the observe a grizzly scene

I've had trouble unlocking a few easy ones like Killing 7 Moas. I had to temporarily turn off cloud saves and somehow that allowed me to unlock it properly.

MCC is the only online I play anymore and it makes me sad that the player count is really starting to dip. It is old, I know but it still hurts. I really enjoy playing all the different playlists and I haven't been able to find a match in Invasion in well over a year.

Personally the reason I don’t play invasion anymore is because people become too sweaty in that game mode, I remember in Reach everyone was a little new to it, so we never camped high areas to spawn camp people, now wether it’s my team or the other I can’t play with people like that.

Loved invasion on Spire in Reach but you finding an invasion game just impossible so I haven't played it in forever

Personally a huge problem I still have with MCC is the co-op campaign issues, whether if it’s stability or cross play, that’s still a major thing that needs to be fixed. I’d be happy with that n everything else I want I could live without tbh

The BIGGEST, NUMBER 1 ISSUE is the brutal disconnecting and un-syncing in the COOP campaigns, mainly halo 2, but also halo 1. The lag can mostly be fixed with hamachi, but the disconnecting on Halo 2 PC has to do with an actual bug in the code that as far as I know, not one person has been able to fix. Halo was built on coop campaign, it's a damn shame that one of the main games barely works at all.

Modded custom game browser is the most important thing to me. Not everyone wants to set up a post on social media or join someones discord just to host/join someone playing on a cool modded map. I didn't see it on the condensed list but I'd put that in there.

I JUST want to play invasion again, man... I miss it....

Make reach so that it actually plays like OG reach by getting rid of insane shield bleedthrough and do an overhaul of the map selecting system so we get the classic forge maps like hemmorage and boneyard on heavies that we never see

​@cheesenibbla8339 it's damage passed onto your health bar once the shield depletes. Eg: in reach if you get meleed but you have a small amount of shield left your shield will break but you will also take a bit of health damage too. Not sure of the current state of bleedthrough but its slightly different in all the halo games

My main thing right now is crossplay campaigns. Once we have that, I'll be satisfied.

This is my wishlist in order of fancifulness: • Input-based Campaign time scoring. • Fix the Exchange. • Bring every single map into matchmaking and weigh them evenly. Maybe even spice it up and let us play mismatched maps and games. (ie, playing Chiron or Death Island in Halo 3 or Uplift and Halo Online maps to Halo 4 and Reach - as it seems like you're in for a long wait if you want to play anything that isn't Halo 3 or Reach, especially in BTB) • Reshuffle the competitive playlists (ie: Kick Invasion into Social, introduce a game picker between modes, condense Ranked, incentivize playing ranked with significant extra XP and season points, or, if I may be so bold, ranked-exclusive cosmetics) • Finish the Campaigns so they are exact 100% perfect matches of the originals for faithful game archival - maybe even going as far as adding a toggle between the "upgraded performance" campaigns we have now, and a faithful emulator version that lets you boot the old games, in all their OG UI, 30 FPS glory. • Bring all the out of game cutscenes, live action segments, trailers and promotional material into the extras tab (ie: Nightfall, 5.1 Surround Sound Test, the Hunt the Truth podcast, the infamous H2 cut content scene, blooper reels, Remember Reach, Birth of a Spartan, We Are ODST, The Cortana Letters) • Seed locks, for challenge runs and speedruns (even if it disables achievements. I'm sure Mint would appreciate this one in particular, to be able to fix enemy placements and not have to keep reloading the checkpoint to get desirable spawns for sick clips) • MODS ON CONSOLE. • PROJECT DIGSITE TO CONSOLE. • RESTORED CONTENT TO CONSOLE

I agree with everything in the ranked segment! That and the inclusion of every game having its respective ranked playlist! Instead of saturating it with halo 3 many different times. Bring back the crossgame playlists with voting in ranked. Each game should have its own ranked playlist with a variety of classic modes and things like doubles/slayer/snipers/etc. and FFA (which needs to be added PERIOD) can be crossgame ranked playlists. This video is a really good one mint and I agree with pretty much everything in this! Keep it up

Ranked needs an update. Half are dead playlists.

I love seeing the community come together. My only complaint is nobody mentioned, Increase Private Custom Files for Gametypes and Maps. Since the launch of MCC, this has been cap out at 50 for each game, which is outrageous annoying for people who create custom content. So, if someone can add this, it would definitely help out the entire Halo community.

@@nickm5419 Fighting games very often support it such as Street Fighter. It's not hard to implement.

Make it to where party host is ALWAYS master chief for Halo 3 Co-op. Alternatively add a character select to H3. Usually is a fixable/tolerable issue but sometimes not.

The fact that upon pc release, MCC had cross console campaign, then they took it away (except Halo 3 and ODST) and never gave it back, infuriates me. I still can't play campaigns with friends.

One thing that ALWAYS bugged me since Reach came to MCC is that getting Wheelman medals (where you drive a warthog or fly a flacon and the gunner gets a kill) don’t go on your service record as an assist like they did in 360 Reach; meanwhile, they do count as assists on your record for the other Halos.

Cross-platform co-op on all campaigns is probably my number one thing. Was gonna play through all the games chronologically with my buddy on pc only to have a pop up saying Reach doesn’t have cross-platform support. Put an end to that instantly

Invasion becoming social would be a dream come true. I wish commendations were a thing like 360 Reach, but that’s entirely unlikely, and that’s okay.

Fixing ranked is huge for me, we deserve to still be able to find games in these playlists regardless of rank at this point. Anyone who’s still playing accepts that the population is small but it’s incredibly frustrating that we can only pretty much level to 35 and have to make a new account.

Modded Custom Game Browser and community updated playlists would make this game last so much longer if not basically forever, if they can implement it.

My biggest hope is that they make Halo 2 classic multiplayer and Halo 2 anniversary multiplayer a separate download. I don't have a lot of storage space, and I want to play Halo 2 multiplayer without it taking up all my storage.

Actually, I wish they made a way to make halo 1 and 2 remaster playable with only downloading the older assets. Cause I love playing CE and 2 with friends, but cause they’re obviously much bigger games than their OG, I have to always make space or delete something due to my low storage.

I just want the problems with cheaters and hackers to be dealt with.

I want custom campaign Playlists. They said we could do that in the ViDocs before MCC launched but it never made it to the game... feel like it'd be fun to make your own

Once certain affinity is done with what theyre doing rn 343 should give MCC to them so they can completely overhaul/remaster the current mcc.

Hate to break it to you but how does it feel reading all of the broken things with MCC knowing it's never going to be fixed?

The only way, 343 will go back and fix any problems is if the game goes to the PlayStation platform. Other than that I wouldn’t expect any more official updates.

Hey just wanna say love you're content and how focused you are on what content we need and what bugs need to be fixed. Also very good to know to watch out for how bad hackers have gotten in mcc. It's nice to have a voice for all of our concern for the halo franchise. Keep up the good work man. 👍

We deserve a finished product. MCC should not be inferior to the original titles. Either 343 brings those old titles back online for the sake of preservation, or they do it properly in MCC. They will not have a chance to earn my trust if they fail to do either of the two.

If they do a co-op matchmaking on all campaigns that would bring a lot of core fans back. As well as re vamp the community because your going to get to know some new friends playing whole campaigns online.

Cross play campaign across every Halo is a big one for me. Been waiting to play campaign with friends for well over 2 years.

Mint Blitz a big issue with the MCC custom games is that with the most recent update they made it so the newest player inherits a custom game lobby instead of the longest playing player. It means uninvested noobs who join get promoted when the host leaves. The amount of times I've been playing halo reach custom games and a new guy joins, immediately becomes the host, dies once and then decided to kick the entire lobby is insane.

I’m glad you’re going to be making a video on this every month but I honestly have zero hope that 343 fixes anything. That said, I still would love to see h2c music fixed, h2 momentum fixed (s8 broke this), and online coop campaign be less laggy for the off host player

Map voting on Reach would be nice. Playing nothing but Forge maps and never really getting vanilla ones really kills the interest

After this update playing through halo 2 and reach enemies have been throwing grenades like crazy, and the catch skull isn’t even on. Like just now on reach 5 plasma grenades landed right by me in perfect synchronization. I’m on normal with no skulls and I never had this happen on previous play throughs right before the update, and on multiple games too is wild

For Social, a 6V6 option to make Invasion and Dominion playable would be awesome!

Invasion is actually such a great game mode it’s such a shame you can’t find a game on it. And imagine it on halo infinite, it would actually be so good on that game.

I'm still holding out hope that one day the grenades in CE will miraculously be fixed. Right now if you play co-op and drop a bunch of grenades (usually around 20), almost all of them just disappear. This never happened in the original game, and it's a pretty big bummer for someone like myself who just wants to film one last launching video and call it a day, but 343 swooped in and ruined that dream. The only thing I can think to do now is to get a second computer, downpatch two versions of MCC, then do online co-op, if that's even possible. It's absurd. So, if fixing CE grenades could be added to the list, that would be cool. Sadly, I do doubt that this effort will amount to anything, but good on you for trying, my friend. Can't hurt, I suppose.

I'm still waiting for MCC multiplayer Bot support. I can't find a match since MCC launched. The base of Asian players is even smaller than that of European and American players. I really hope 343i updates multiplayer Bot support. Even if it's not for Asian players, the servers can be closed for the future and people can continue to play MCC with Multiplayer Bot support.

Not sure if this was mentioned but since afks are a problem in custom games and the host (usually the creator of the map) will sometimes sit afk in the server to prevent a different host from abusing their power and kicking everyone, I was wondering if an option to auto kick afk players after 1-5 minutes or so could be implemented so the host can stay afk but the other afk players will be kicked

I read through the list and here's my add ons! *Cosmetics:* - H:R and H2Classic weapon skins. They don't have to be unique. Could just carry over some of the standard recolor ones from CE and 3 like the Seperatist Green/Zealot Gold/Ultra White covie skins, or the corresponding camo patterns that already exist for each UNSC weapon. Brute weapon skins would be nice too for H2/H3/ODST, anything is better than nothing at this point. - Adding back all the previously "limited time only" Exchange unlocks into the Catalogue as a new "Season". 343 isn't making money off of the MCC skins anyway, so the FOMO model doesn't make much sense. Either that or indefinitely rotate the Exchange shop so we're not stuck with the same set of unlocks for an entire year - Enable Multiplayer spartan skins in campaign (toggle-able like weapon skins and campaign scoring currently are) *PVE* - Co-Op matchmaking or browser for Spartan Ops - Turn off Firefight friendly fire in matchmaking, including splatter. ODST suffers most because of teammates killing you with their rockets/firebombs/flamethrower or killing you to hog power weapons. Reach also has griefers who try to get you to splat them so you'll be booted or emp your vehicle. Not exactly the Brothers in Arms experience. - Harsher bad teammate penalty. Moochers have successfully gone AFK without being booted by walking against a wall in spawn while having zero kills (all for the weekly Firefight completion challenge). There's usually one of these fellas per session. People will also intentionally die to drain all team lives, usually by self-nading/cliff diving/running into covenant without shooting. - More maps in H:R Firefight like Anchor 9, Boardwalk, Spire, Highlands. I know there are some Workshop mods that already do this, but making it official would be nice. - turn off radar jamming properties of the Active Camo armor ability. It serves no purpose in PVE other than to annoy your teammates in rounds without Fog on - Lower despawn rate for Power weapons even more, especially ones from the Weapon Drop pods or ones the player has picked up. For instance, if I stash the Target Locator by spawn for easier access, it should still be there by the boss round. Maybe have a no-despawn zone in player spawn or something, I dunno. - Try not having Phantoms drop right on top of the generator in Generator Defense. - Either more starting ammo or randomized enemy weapons in Fiestafight. Reach's version sucks after initial spawn. After you use up your ammo, you're mostly stuck with the enemy's standard small arms (plasma pistol, plasma repeaters, etc).

I want a final update. And from 343i what a great legacy. To have a game that was dead on arrival to being so successful, so fun, so interesting and a real tribute to Halo as a brand. One final goodbye update as a thanks to the fans that stuck by 343i and still support 343 as a studio that learns from mistakes and rights wrongs

Mint I'm so glad that you mentioned the music because for some reason when i was playing halo 2 I couldn't really herar any of the theme songs also another bug that bothers me is changing the main menu backgrounds every time I log in it swaps to the default main menu background hopefully 343 fix these bugs with a massive update.

The biggest ones for me are the frame rate issues with H2a's campaign (specifically anniversary graphics), and co-op campaign (H3 and later)

Game Pass compatibility with the mods on Steam Workshop would be absolutely huge.

Give all playlists that were limited time as a perma, give us a ton more forge items including covenant ones. Introduce the cut weapons. Cut designs, dialogue etc as options. Give us the ability to record our own voices or add voice files for forge. Improve Halo CE so it less looks and acts like Gearbox. Give us the ability to forge with other game assets such as the Halo 2 Scarab, cut version of it etc. Or allow curated mods to become a permanent stay in Halo MCC this wont take away from workshop however it adds more and brings the franchise into our own hands.

HUD for a while was only widescreen across all games except Halo 1 and Halo 2. Full screen resolutions the HUD remained wide, and thus was scaled to fit the sides, but not remain near the top and bottom of the view making it too intrusive to the FOV. There was an update that fixed Reach and H4's HUDs. But Halo 3, ODST, and H2AMultiplayer still have this issue.

An easy way to fix ranked population is to incentivize players to play (not win) ranked modes. Change the current weekly challenge from win two ranked games to PLAY two ranked games. Also rotate the time limited ranked modes like halo 3 recon slayer and add new ranked modes like ranked swat. Also adding in match composer would help alot.

As someone who's still playing MCC matchmaking, I'm hoping that 343 could stop players booted for betraying from rejoining the same match they were booted from. Currently, you can betray as much as you want and then you have the option to rejoin when you're kicked. I've come across this problem much more often than hackers or spoofed accounts. Granted, there are plenty of ways people can grief regardless, but it seems like an easy fix to take away the easiest and most annoying method, and would improve the MM experience for the remainder of this game's lifespan.

I really hope for PC to get Server tools similar to HCE or any Valve Source game. Having server tools + a server browser can do wonders to a game even without active development from the original devs.

Would kill for some ranked updates on MCC.

You need to add the Halo 3 campaign fixes to this list! There’s a handful, but the most noticeable one is the broken, static beams during the warthog run on “Halo.” They used to scrape across the level and functioned as an obstacle on the 360 version. On the mcc, they just sit still. Halo 2 has some broken AI as well, especially the elites on the gondola during (sacred icon? Quarantine zone? Always get those names mixed up).

I just want co op campaign. It still doesn't work for my friends and just insta-crashes in Halo CE. No matter the hours of troubleshooting we did

H3 elites need a big fix, adding visor colors, back accessories, and other piece options, as well as proper animations for the open helmets they added in Season 7, as the mouths and faces don’t move like they should.

I know it probably won't happen, but Full Offline Bot Support for every mode (Multiplayer and Singleplayer) for every game.

Final update makes me happy just for the fact that I can finally consider updating the game and am not gonna have to wonder if I can spare more hard drive space.

love the videos, Mint Blitz!!! would love to have the ability to customize menu music similarly to how we can edit wallpapers in the menu, a match voting system would be cool, the ability to change UI layout sorta like presets that are created by 343 or the community, for example one UI that echos the halo 3 UI setup. I think it would also be cool to get a mod menu for Xbox, so many people are missing out on all the great modes the modding community has developed for this game. last thing is more of a fix, for some reason I cant edit the first menu wallpaper, hopfually they could fix that.

I want the original grunt birthday party skull effect back in halo 2. All headshots, even on dead bodies, caused plasma grenade explosions. Can add a new skull and call it classic grunt birthday party.
