I recently was a drop part and traded someone and got get hit with a permanent ban for real world trading. I recently went through a divorce where literally everything was taken from me, my 3 kids my house my car....... everything. I literally found the bot farm with the top 18 corporal beast kills. Yes. they are all one farm. look up all their stats, under 70 in all stats except combat, and 50k+ corp kills. the same farm is all top 20 spots.

The clip at 2:47 - 2:50 - 1 tick specing from a trident with no spec bar like that is just not possible without cheating/botting btw. And that's discounting the fact that they all 3 did it in sync and switched into the rest of their melee gear at the same time too.

it is doable like panic 07 does, but he has to utilise being on like 200 ping for it to work, the ping delay allows him to 1 tick spec from weps without spec bar because of the delay, other than that it's cheat clients that show spec bar on weapons without one@@BULD0SIS

​​@@BULD0SISit's "technically" still possible to do, but requires very unusual setups beforehand, and is still difficult to pull off. Impossible in the practical sense. The most known method is to view the special attack bar beforehand while holding a weapon with a special attack, then going to your weapon without a spec bar. You can then 1 tick a special if you swap weapons, change tabs to attack styles, click the bar in the few frames before the client correctly hides it, and click the target.

I'm gonna go ahead and assume jagex doesn't know that last trade scam was a bot. Maybe it was being run by a player doing the typing and manually trading, but the swap during the trades is being done by an ahk script or a bot of some manner.

Changing your account's name does not remove any progress on the highschore. Only changes the name there.

Highly doubt that. I have known multiple runescape players that regulary scam the scammers in these trades. But as he said the scammers are doing it for a reason, they make profit. There are enough people accidentally doing a bad trade while trying to profit off the scammer for it be worth it. So no matter how confident you are in your reading and double check skills dont do it lol.

If I recall back in the day, even Dungeoneering was being botter within like a year or two. Worth doing a video in retrospective revisiting the tech bots of the past. Some are crazy even in todqys standards.

All the good bots were free back then and the ones you paid for were insane. Osrs scripters really capitalized this time around. A lot of the scripts paid included were shit.

I fell for the last scam several months ago. I was up 30m and what I thought was 1.2b for a tbow (This was when tbows were 900m), turned out to be 1.2m. After realising what I had done, I called my self braindead. To add salt to injury, I was then muted for calling myself braindead... Ever since I fell for that scam, I have turned my trade options to private...

Two day ban? Ban for life. That type of botting is totally unacceptable.

I feel like in the next 2-5 years, AI is going to get to the point where bots can act 100% humanlike and be absolutely undetectable. They won’t just be “scripts” but rather artificial players that can chat, hold a conversation, do any task in the game, and doesn’t follow predictable patterns at all. The money incentive with being able to RWT means there’s a large incentive to create an AI that can do this. It’s not a matter of “if” but “when” at this point.

And if that account can hold a conversation smoothly and do anything a human would do to prove it’s human, how can you justify banning it?

You should investigate all the barrows bots. There has been a lot lately. Over 2k kc+ each some worlds have 4-5 bots active at a time

At some point, writing a bot to solve a certain aspect of the game becomes more impressive than just doing it. Like honestly. Thisbot shows that this person has a deep understanding off both programming and how the game works to the point he can perfectly syncronize every bot to do optiomal movements no matter the scenarios.

There's an army of soul wars bots in w377 dressed with Sara swords and dragon chain body, all names are almost identical

Just today I was outside my house portal, and a massive group of guys in this exact gear all portaled on top of me before going into their house, at the EXACT same time. There was no way that was a coincidence, I knew they had to be bots, but I would never of thought it'd be for ToB

Botting personally ruined OSRS for me. As a new player confused about what to do of course i look up a way to make money. The kicker? The best one is botted to death so that real player profit is not happening due to low volume of nails, and the grind to getting any sort of actual money is so long i couldnt take it anymore and gave up on the game, but not before buying gold off of a site and realizing how people actually play. I always see people grinding something but almost none of them talk so I think that most of them are botted as well and that next to no-one but the very dedicated small group of superfans actually play how the game is intended. The slow grind of OSRS incentivizes IRL Trading for gold and botting and always will and that takes the fun out for me, im all willing to grind a game if all the players around me were forced to play the same but with how easy getting 100M from a site was for me it seems like a better system is never coming. Seemed like a fun thing to put time into but the anti cheat is non existing and the cheating only seems to get worse and worse. No matter how many botter videos you do the endless stream of them will never stop unless the anti cheat is somehow upgraded. (also to those who say buying gold will get you banned, It will not. My account has been alive and running for the better part of a year with no issue after purchase Jagex simply doesn't care about smaller transactions at all only game breaking multiple billion gold trades)

I think i've found a huge and unique bot farm that is running in half of the worlds in a unique location. Remember Salarin the twisted? He drops a sinister key (around 30K) with a 1/12 chance. Salarin takes less then 10 seconds to kill and with a bot in half of the worlds i'm guessing the farm makes arround 30M per hour, maybe more depending on how much bots are active. They all wear the same gear, (Full mystic with a berserker helm) have the same stats and have a similar username. Be sure to check it out!

Or hear me out. All the people saying no or calling it too tedious were secretly already using a TOB bot, and just didn't want it to be known because of the profit margins with less bots doing it?

The bot dropping the Zulrah teleports was likely a zulrah killing bot having an issue regearing and dropping whats in it's inventory and starting to attempt to regear again and repeating.

I bet the Tele bot had a broken script, was supposed to be teleporting to zulra but kept dropping them and resupplying.

the reason scammers actually give you free shit is to bait you into being greedy. the idea is that you think you can keep outsmarting them. but they've got a whole book of random shit they can try and it only takes one successful trick for you to get scammed.

Lots of bots cutting yew logs near the grand exchange a lot of them are level 18 and are holding air staffs

Hackers/Bot Farmers are always going to evolve with the defense they’re up against. With the community full of adults, a lot that work in IT/Coding based job fields, the botters are getting really good at what they do. I fear that OSRS is build on such an old platform Jagex have exhausted the options they have to detect these things mixed with no wanting to have to dedicate their work force to monitor it

There were dungeoneering bots a few months after it came out, if they can bot the captcha skill theater of blood is nothing.

It's a bit late but generally speaking you won't get into tob teams without base 90 combats, rig+augery assembler and elite void as a bare minimum when you're not a known person going into tob, anything less than that and you are more than likely being either boosted or you're playing with friends who know you're good at tob. A random team will almost never take people in less than that for their first 0-20kc and depending on whats missing even with high kc.

I remember when my account got hacked and turned into a Zulra bot hahah, lost all my stuff but at least they got me 15 magic levels. Perma banned ofc with no appeal. Appealed it and got unbanned which was cool

Not to mention, the trade one with tbow/shadows your potentially flagging your own account as a real world trader and thus putting your account at risk of a ban, these types of players who scam are most likely going to real world trade the money away...

When I botted this game back in the day they banned accounts permanently. Every once and a while you'd have an account that would get a 2nd chance, it was weird. I never botted for gold or "hey look at my stats", I only ever wanted an account with base minimum PVM stats, and I had a shit ton of pures. Zerkers, 1 def, chaotic maul/95 prayer/korasi pure. I was experimenting with all of them lol. These youtubers say they play legit, but I can almost guarantee they use to bot just like me. Or they have all day to play in which case must be nice.

I just got a 3 day temporary ban for “real world trading” one day after my clan held a 150m drop party, and I received 8 whips -_- I submitted an appeal, but don’t see anything happening with it. Just gotta wait out the 3 days I guess.. There was also zero evidence/explanation shown for why I was temporarily banned for it.. Just “minor real world trading”

The worst botters i know are the zulrah bots in ferox enclave. Almost all have over 4000kc. For your zulrah teleport dropper, it is probably drop trading it because its one of the most expensive item and is expecting to be banned. It drops it so the person receiving it doesn't get banned. That being said, why is it so often and why in a public place? Best guess is it was currently broke or the teleports are used to detect a bot.

There isn't really any aspect of the game that can't be botted at this point, really interested to see how it affects the game over time.

i quit because of them, i pked, then all bots and scripters filled the wildy. I got into pvm doing phosanis nightmare learned it, it was hard and while i was doing it there were bots in crap get with 1k kc or better all the time. it was to demotivating they top guy is a bot with 10850 kc there and its not banned.

There is a plugin that shows how many bots or players that got banned from your ignore list. I have to say jagex is banning more than just the simple alching bots. It's a slight improvement but they need to ban thousands more but they are improving

A friend of mine develops bots and he is quite good at it. I asked him why he doesn't make raid bots, particularly TOB bots. The only reason he didn't do TOB was that it would take too many accounts before the script is perfected. Apart from that, it was pretty do-able he said.

I always think those people who send the clips showing them scamming the scammers is part of the scam :D
