I discovered Onision as an insecure 13-year old, and every time I see his face I cringe with a little bit of sentimentally because he was a part of my very embarrassing "edgy" phase. But now I'm 30. I have a job, a car, two dogs, I do my taxes, people call me "ma'am", I've been in relationships, I wear comfy cotton underwear. I'm undeniably an adult. And he's somehow STILL an edgy older teenager? It's been almost 20 years, Greg. It's pathetic.

Please don’t make me defend a predator like this! He absolutely has done some horrific things, but we shouldn’t lose our own humanity along the way. If he has been through traumatic events (and bear in mind, I’m only at 18:12 right now, so I have three hours ahead of me!) then that is still a terrible thing. The example of the car situation. I don’t know that I agree with what happened (but again, I’m only going off what was said here). Okay, he was being an obnoxious teen playing the music loudly and his father pulled over on the side of the road. By *their own account* his father was attempting to physically restrain him and his stepmother was trying to untie his shoes. What in the actual blue hell? He wasn’t some 3yo who was going to run into traffic if he got out of the car for some air. Where was the discussion about his feelings? *Why* was he blasting his music so loudly? Obviously something was going on this child’s mind and not once in that account did the father and stepmother do any actual parenting IMO. But by the same token, I’m a broken Millennial who received a strap as “discipline” by her parents from the time she was 18 months old, so both the stories involving his father and stepmother absolutely left me with a bad taste in my mouth. All of that is to say that before he did all of these terrible things, it seems he was just a child who was struggling with emotional regulation and not being taught it by parents who likely didn’t have it themselves. So, yes, I do see him as a human. I also see him as a monster who has harmed *so many* people and that is why I started this comment with a request to not make me defend a person like this. 💗

@@William_Porter I’m not justifying anything. I literally just finished reading that Newsweek article and despite it being essentially entirely from the father’s POV, there’s a tonne of red flags in it for abusive parenting all in the name of a “good, Christian upbringing.” My point is simply that it feels wrong to me for *those particular stories* to be classed as “self victimisation” when they’re about him when he was a literal child. Again, it could be from my own religious trauma because as I said, I was strapped with a belt at 18 months old. This isn’t something that was hidden. It is openly talked about in my family and my parents feel no shame about it. Onision’s father felt totally justified asking the police to tell him that he “has to do what his parents tell him” and it reeks of the “spare the rod and spoil the child” BS from my childhood. As you said, trauma is never an excuse for abusing others. I have my own children and I certainly don’t strap them with a freaking belt when they’re “naughty”. My issue is specifically with the stories from his childhood being lumped in with the awful stuff he did as an adult. Yes, he’s absolutely a monster, but he wasn’t one then and nothing in those stories makes me think his parents weren’t in the wrong except that he was arrested so it’s possible there’s more information we don’t know. At the same time, it’s totally legal in a lot of place for parents to strike their children while they’re not allowed to strike their parents, so… 🤷‍♀️

I took that approach with any adult when I was a child/minor. I assumed that either A) they would consider me a waste of time/annoying or B) if they wanted to flirt with a minor as an adult, then they weren't someone I'd need to be around anyway. I was grossed out if a 19 year old wanted to "talk" to me at 15, 16, or 17. In my eyes they were an adult, and I wasn't, so if they were interested in ME then they must be an absolute loser. This mindset seems to have saved me.

He's a dime a dozen, but they all think they're the most unique human that has ever lived. The last I heard, "my" Onision, who is now in his 40s, is very, very alone in the world. I suspect most of them end up this way.

Thank you for saying this. My "Onion boy" was 36 and I was 18. One year younger and he would've been considered a p*dophile. I was an incredibly sheltered and naive 18, who grew up in an abusive and cult-like family system, so of course I gravitated towards and domineering, gaslighting narcissist. I'm 26 and about to get married to the love of my life. I can't say where he is now, but when we were together, he was living with his ex, a woman in her 40s, who bought his car, his limited edition gaming console, the house they lived in together, and paid for his schooling all while he was actively bringing me around the house and he taught yoga 3ish times a week. This man basically ran a yoga cult as well. God do I have stories, some so ridiculous, you'd think I was making it up. I'm glad I got out of there before we ended up moving in together like he had planned, with no way out. People like Onion boy are scum and they need to be on a watch list.

When I was an isolated, confused, and misogynistic 15 year old in highschool, my only friend was an "Onision". He confessed his feelings for me and I tried to let him down as gently as possible, not wanting to hurt him. He went on to become the local incel who'd spread rumors around about how "promiscuous" I was, when I hadn't even had my first kiss by that time. I still wonder from time to time where he is, seeing as I managed to escape my shitty mentality and form real human connections. I truly hope he stopped being an "onision".

Skye is a good example of why alimony exists. One partner (usually the wife) puts in a significant amount of labor that allows the other partner (usually the husband) to have a successful career. The wife’s support often comes at the expense of her own career advancement. Alimony is a way to compensate her for her labor and sacrifice.

-She came up with some of his most successful video ideas (that weren't about himself - i.e. "The Banana Song"). -She worked during the day as a nurse, and then came home and did more work for his KZread channel at night - for example, she edited his early videos. -She did all of the cooking and cleaning. -He left her for Shiloh, who was 17 at the time (he was 26). She dated him from 2010 to 2012, when she left. -Less than 24 hours after Shiloh left him and went back to Canada, he was already texting Skye to try to convince her to come back. She refused. When she did, that's when he started attacking her online (i.e. his "Slavery Vs. Alimony" video). -He then moved on to Adrienne, a 26-year-old woman who he dated for 3 weeks. (He made a couple of videos implying that she was promiscuous, had an unclean v*gina, and had STDs after they broke up.) -When Skye, Shiloh, and Adrienne all refused to take him back, he then moved on to Lainey/Kai, whom he had married and impregnated within the year. -When she requested alimony after they divorced, Greg initiated a smear campaign against her that resulted in her disappearing from the Internet for about a decade. People were literally threatening to r*pe and k*ll her, I kid you not. -The reason why she requested alimony was because he wouldn't let her work while they were married. She actually had to move back in with her parents for a while after they divorced because she had no money and no place to live. -He tried to convince Shiloh to stop making music, too; and he also wouldn't let Kai work, either (side note: I actually think that Kai is just lazy and entitled, and doesn't want to work.) -She only reappeared on Twitter briefly in 2020 to support Sarah. -When she got awarded alimony, Onision told her that she left him no other option but to commit suic*de unless she stopped it. She ignored him. Later on, he admitted that this was just a manipulation tactic, and that he actually had no intention of k*lling himself. -He also once admitted that he would've preferred to date her younger sister Alicia than her, who was 15 at the time. He actually kissed her once while she was drunk; she literally ran into a different room to escape him. (Yes, I am aware that I know way too much about Onion Boy. 😩)

Former medical worker here as well as the daughter of someone who died due to sepsis. If you are septic…it means your entire blood stream is infected. It is a life threatening emergency and you are pretty much for sure going to be in the ICU. The doctors are going to give you every antibiotic they have available to them because the longer the infection is in your blood the more damage it does. My mom went septic several times during the final year of her life. Each time would start with her having altered mental status, like thinking I was a 5 year old boy (i was a 19 year old at the time and I am a girl). She would then go down hill very fast. One time we left the hospital after a normal visit enjoying food together as a family and before we even got home 90 minutes later she was calling us making absolutely no sense. We called the nurses station and told them to go check on her and within a few hours she was intubated on a ventilator with every antibiotic under the sun hanging from her IV poles. Each infection did more and more damage because it took longer to get under control. Eventually, her body could not handle the aggressiveness of the infection and it was just too much for her to handle. We told her it was okay to stop fighting, she had done it for so long and we knew she would hate us if she was kept on the machines like this. Watching your mother fight her way back from a life threatening infection only to be kicked right back down again and again is agonizing to watch. It is something i still deal with to this day and my mom died in 2011. So basically I’m saying if you are septic you are not hanging out going on carnival rides. Your a$$ is firmly parked in the hospital with monitors and blood work on the regular to see if the infection is getting better. This guy is a straight predator who needs to be off the internet permanently.

I thought she was having a stroke so I insisted and insisted on going to the ER. Welp she wasn't having a stroke, she had sepsis. Doctor said if she hadn't gone she would've died that night. If someone is diagnosed with sepsis I can't imagine the hospital would let them out to go on carnival rides, nor could I imagine that person having a pleasant time on said carnival rides

Hallucinating, I thought my husband was a kidnapper. I even attacked him. I was in the hospital for a few wks. I was on every IV antibiotics on the planet. I promise u if ur septic, you can't do ANYTHING. You can't even think. My fever was 105 the day I had my jaw bone removed. Shiloh definitely wasn't septic. A UTI or std maybe but not septic. She would have been in hospital. Not on a amusement ride. Your body is in so much pain, u will pass out. She wouldn't still be alive if no medical intervention. I was sick back in June. Here it is Dec 30 and I'm still not fully recovered. I still use an antibiotic roll on around the external jaw. Clindamycin phosphate. It's a very strong antibiotic. I've been following this story since 2011 (about as long as Repzion has), and he's cheated on every partner that he's ever had except for Shiloh. He cheated on his first wife with Shiloh. When Shiloh left him and went back to Canada, he started dating a woman named Adrienne. When Adrienne broke up with him after 3 weeks, he was texting his first wife and Shiloh within 24 hours. When his first wife, Shiloh, and Adrienne all refused to take him back, he then moved on to Lainey/Kai, whom he proposed to within about 2 months (Lainey/Kai was actually already a few weeks pregnant by the time that they got married). When he got bored with Lainey/Kai, he used them as queerbait to draw in Billie. When Billie left, he started targeting Sarah, even though she's a lesbian and was in love with Lainey/Kai. The only reason why he's not doing this anymore is because he isn't capable of it because everybody is onto his game now. (Yes, I am aware that I know way too much about Onion Boy. 😩)

The amount of women my age or younger who are confessing to having liked this man for a while when they were underage are proving a necessary point and I appreciate their authenticity, but it's just terrifying to be reminded how vulnerable young people really are... and he goes to show why people like this consistently choose victims in that age range. They are too young to recognize that he is in arrested development as a (psychopathic) teen, so of course his behavior does not seem off to them. It's sick.

My partner's ex is the same type of abuser as Onision and the similarities are incredible. From the vegetarianism (he took it a step further with veganism) to both establish a moral high ground and to exert control over victims to the polyamory and luring of young girls (never underage, but only just) into his clutches, to the constant and unstoppable blame shifting, gaslighting, demeaning, etc. It really is scary how people like this all follow a similar formula. Dude is 100% a narcissist and a sociopath, all of his "emotions" were manufactured to fit his needs at the moment. To anyone dealing with someone like this (a non-violent abuser), leave as quickly as you can and cut contact permanently. I realize this is hard/impossible for people who have been isolated from their friends and family. Try to find someone to aid you in your escape if possible. Escape is not the end however. They will try to drag you back in with fake apologies and false promises, don't fall for it. Don't respond to any of their calls or texts. After this fails they will probably try to take revenge on you (usually with a smear campaign). Just let it happen, nothing they can do is worse than being stuck with them. Eventually they will find another victim and will forget about you.

Psychological violence is violence, financial violence is violence, and severing someone's social ties and constructing a bad image of the victims to others (like making the victim appear as a liar etc) can be called social violence too I think... All these things are violent too, and physical violence is rarely the only kind of violence done to victims btw, psychological violence is the more common violence, and it often starts with that... And the most harm done by physical violence is psychological anyways, the body can heal but the trauma stays, and the scars are inside and outside ... Care for all of you I hope you can find support :)

If anyone wants to play devil’s advocate for him, don’t. Your own sob story or anecdotal evidence does not tie you to this person or how shitty or not shitty he is. You can have all the world’s shit happen to you and it can make a great story, but at the end of the day, you are responsible for your own actions. It sucks, but stop letting this man play victim. He is a human being, but human’s are scarier than monsters. Edit: Dang didn’t think there would be such a big debate. Is fun reading it. My stance remains the same though. You can use stuff to explain what occurs, but at the end of the day, actions have consequences. Sometimes have people randomly throwing their self-diagnosed or diagnosed mental health, disorders, or whatever conditions they have. It can help to explain stuff and if there are things that will make them unable to do or perform a certain task then that can be worked out depending on the situation. I have my own slew of mental health and I do ask for help when I need it. But at the end of the day, if I fail or mess up I fail or mess up. Actions have consequences. It’s the harsh reality. I sympathize for Gypsy Rose due to her conditions she grew up in, but she faces the consequences of her actions nonetheless. She gets a reduced sentencing due to her abusive mother who had her basically stuck. Onision has his own issues, but the difference was he wasn’t stuck in a situation where there was a big power imbalance with him being the one with significant less power (like Gypsy did). If you want to make comparisons that’s okay. You can explain situations. But at the end of the day, Gypsy faces consequences for her actions as well as Onision.

At some point, one must look in the mirror and say "I have behaved badly, I must now face the music in some way", or they are no different from their abusers. Sexual abuse is the ultimate no excuses kind of abuse. What Onion Asshole did to Shiloh alone earns Onion Tosser a spot in the Hell Of Being Sounded Without Wanting It for the next million years. (Sounding is the insertion of objects into your pisshole for pleasure. I said he doesn’t look like a grown man, that’s my true perspective.. it doesn’t have any intentions behind it that say that he or her is right. Edit: and how is it wrong to say that I couldn’t tell he’s older than he is? It’s just weird how you’re adding on your own idea of why I said what I said, so you’re the one that’s assuming things. Tbh I thought the guy was a teenager at first, especially in the videos that were the early years of his channel. I’m really am just saying facts and you’re twisting them to give reasons for why you think I must have said them.

@@FriedEgg1975 I did not say any of the meaning that you interpreted; I wasn’t talking about onision not effecting her, I was referring to it not being caused by her being young and dumb. So your whole idea of what I said meant and intended was wrong. Her comment said that she was already struggling with her self image before watching his videos, that’s what my comment was talking about.. that’s prior conditioning of belief from her prior experiences which could be from her environment and family, for example someone telling her that her body was not good or that being skinny is the only definition of healthy or that she was fat & ugly (even if not true) because of their perspective of her body, or possible abuse.. which would be bad conditioning causing struggles with body image as well as possible body dysmorphia, & eating disorders. The reason why a social media public figure’s thoughts about rating girls bodies would effect her emotions so much more is because of her previous bad conditioning which would make her susceptible since it confirms her already learned beliefs, insecurities and vulnerability. Which is also something older woman could experience, so it’s not due to merely naivety. If someone did not have the already negative preconceived beliefs in their mind about body image and instead were nurtured to have a good belief about the body being beautiful & healthy because it’s not for others validation then they would have a belief that’s not compatible with onison’s and therefore recognize it as wrong and off putting, also their self esteem would make them less vulnerable. If they valued his opinion then they might still think about what he said but not be so emotionally insecure about it. And if you study psych then you should be aware of this. There’s different types of conditioning btw, so it doesn’t have the same exact meaning in different contexts. This kind of conditioning of the mind is like a programming of subconscious & conscious beliefs that gets passed down like generational trauma.

Kai's role in all of this seems to remain consistently messy, both abuser and abused. Even when Kai is perpetrating horrible acts, Greg seems to always find a way to either escalate, or make everything about him. Factor in the fact that Kai was clearly groomed by Greg, and never managed to get away from him unlike the other victims, makes it seem like Greg twisted Kai into an instrument of his will, a mirror to him, whatever you want to call it. There is absolutely psychology out there of abusers and cult leaders Breaking their second-in-command into being a complicit agent through tactical use of trauma and conditioning, and Greg has proven himself a manipulator time and again...

Right? With Onision traveling across state lines, sometimes even transporting minors across state lines, to states where the age of consent was lower you’d think that would make it a Federal Issue. Everything else someone does that involves crossing state lines usually falls into Federal Jurisdiction. So it’s really odd that age of consent laws don’t get bumped up to Federal Jurisdiction when crossing state lines is involved since the Federal age of consent is 18, and Onision technically sexual trafficked a few minors across state lines for the purpose of having sex. Which is technically Child Sex Trafficking, and is a Federal Offense.
