I would love to see other games! I really like Half-Life content, and have been immensely happy with how regularly content has been coming out recently on KZread, but I more than understand wanting to not limit yourself to one series, even if it's one with a huge community.

also as stated I get it not wanting to limit but if you have a valve and offshoots of valve content in your head yeah man that's the thing you can literally do anything though and if it's good content you will be happy and people will be happy to watch we are learning about stuff here I knew of entropy zero 2 maybe idk but then the uprising from zero 1 no I saw the post though on steam which is a great looking mod the last of the mods today looked interesting though because I play rp servers so it was cool like a role playing half lkfe game with all the crazy xongenf pekple are kusr hungry for more and valve is doing whatever till hl3 comes out one day and theres so much fan made stuff it is an incredible thing. but mods to other series maybe glitches how to do secret stuff how to idk I'm talking any game. or just do some idea. I've only seen the half life stuff from you as it's basically one of the few main games I really truly truly love the others from it are still all mods one way or another. CS was TF was kinda sorta but it's not idk how to explain but they're totally valve fps same engine so it's like .... the same but not idk show the world new of anything just do you open a reddit channel discord whatever and have a community lol topics and stuff it's all an idea all ideas come to a thing where hey I wish I were you in the situation. you're making real content I'm playing and doing dumb little shorts and that's it I envy these channels . you got it man lol.

Well, I personally think it would be interesting for you to cover Source mods from the other franchises (i.e portal tf2) still on the same demographic, but more room for topics and video ideas. Maybe you could also cover HL1 mods as well.

I'll definitely be doing a HL1 Mod Review some time soon! I've tried my hands on CS:S back when this channel started, though that was before I added any voiced commentary, so perhaps that's why those didn't do that well. Portal is definitely something I could cover, though besides having played them like once or twice I'm not that deep in that community, I do love them though!

A mod that actually gives ability and suit upgrades? That sounds awesome! Metroidvanias are my type of game, so having a Half Life mod that tries to implement a similar style of "get new ability to explore more of the world" is a breath of fresh air for me!

The mod reviews are a wonderful thing to have access to and has helped me find modifications I otherwise wouldn't have tried. I would highly appreciate just being shown more different mods in the 3 mods format, but I think that if you did perhaps 3 mods for A game rather than just 3 mods for THIS game that would work far better. quick and bite sized showcases so people can get a feel for what's out there.

I'm really upset the series is over! Please reboot it at some point. As for myself personally, I'm here for HL2/source content

I got to know your channel looking for some half life mods and sticked because of your half life content and I got to know a lot of good HL mods because of you , but I do enjoy your reviews and thoughts so it would be interesting to seeing you doing the same for anothers games and those games mods :)

It's a respectable choice I am one that likes your source content.

I really enjoyed all of these episodes since I've fallen out of the mod loop and seeing all of these in action instantly gives me motivation to try them! In regards to branching out, only way to tell if it would work is to try. I found you through half life content and have thoroughly enjoyed my time since Half Life is so important to me personally and your commentary is really nice to listen to. I could maybe suggest that you review mods in other games too. There are plenty of people who enjoy modding scenes in different games and I don't think the commentary market on them is too saturated. Of course this might still be a bit limiting if you aren't too invested in other games modding scenes.

I really hope you continue to do indepth reviews of half-life mods! I really like your dedicated coverage of that content. While I wouldn't be opposed to you branching out into other kinds of content, I hope that you do continue to review half life mods and mods for source games in general!

Perhaps once in a while I could make one where I cover a lot more at once? Like 10 in one video? I think a lot of people just watch my content in the background while doing something else, which is why 3 minute videos aren't really suited for them. Also the KZread algorithm prefers longer videos, so that could be beneficial. I'll definitely think about it.

@@1luciasadly the algorithm doesn’t push short videos, but I’m sure a longer version of the same format would take off! I’m a fairly new fan and I haven’t been recommended any of your short videos, even after I watched (and was recommended) all the longer stuff that you made

You should just do a video every 6 months or at the end of each year like "best mods of the year" etc. I think it would be more popular than constant mod videos close together and would be useful for people looking to find mods.

to be truly honest, i mostly enjoy half life content and by extension source content. I dont think i would be interested in anything else... But if you want to cover other topics/games, you should give it a shot !

Its gonna be pretty sad to see this series go since it introduced me to some great mods, and more importantly a great youtuber, but your other content is great to so this shouldn't be to big a hit Edit: I watch you mainly for half life, buts that's also mainly just because I've only ever seen your half life videos so if you did other game reviews I would (probably) watch it. It all just depends on the genre of game and stuff.

I think if I'm honest, yeah, I do mostly watch you for the Source content, mainly the non-Counterstrike stuff since I'm not too interested in CS... but even that too, kind of! Though admittedly I'm one of those people that doesn't sub to loads of channels, I'm mostly a KZread Recommendation follower, so I'm not sure how useful my feedback is - I do watch your videos practically every time one shows up in my recommendations, and that's resulted in me watching nearly all your videos as they've release though! I imagine I might watch your stuff less even if it's suggested to me if you started branching out into other games I'm not interested in, but equally, if you branch out into games I *am* interested in, I'll probably keep watching

I seriously appreciate the honesty! Obviously, me branching out wouldn't mean an end to Half-Life content at all. After all, 90% of my knowledge when it comes to gaming of any kind is in Half-Life and Source, I couldn't really make a lot of videos on differnet topics if I wanted to! (Unless it's purely a blind review of sorts, which I don't think I would make, but who knows). I have at least 1 game that I have quite a lot to say about that I would love to cover on my channel, it is to note however that this is only 1 of my like 15 video ideas that I've written down, all 14 other ones being somehow Half-Life related lol

I'd love to see non source engine games here to be honest and I hope the next video will be a success for you.

I am biased as hell but would love to see you cover mods for Halo: The Master Chief Collection! Your videos are always great to watch even though I'm not too into half-life modding

Im sad to hear that these videos dont do well, tho i think they are really important to raise awareness about what mods are available! And i think if you want to show content of other games, stay at least within the same type of games like Half Life, lets say for example the Metro franchise!

Tbh I do only watch you for source/half life content, but I can't deny available content for it can be really dry. I wouldn't mind if you went for new stuff and I would 100% watch other content by you if it was interesting. Do you have any ideas already of games you'd want to cover? Personally, I'd like to see someone cover Project Zomboid mods. There's been plenty of videos about "the best project zomboid mods" already but it feels like there's no one who keeps up to date with pz mods when there's always new cool stuff being added that I would love to be informed about, and I couldn't think of someone better for that than someone who covers mostly hl mods. I would love to see something more dedicated to the modding community that goes over not just the most popular stuff but just the cool interesting and unique mods out there and go in depth about them since some of the mods are really deep mechanic and feature-wise

The lack of success with these videos is unfortunate but I think a consequence of their nature; for me, if the mods are ones I've already played I'll skip it, and if they're not, I'll check their pages out and download them for myself and the video is at best left to run in the background. They are a very much appreciated way to find new/curated content to play but that won't be reflected by YT analytics. Maybe rather than short videos for mod recommendations it'd be more beneficial for the channel to make community updates with screenshots and links, saving longer videos for full reviews?

Although i love you covering half life mods It would be cool if you covered mods from other games like terraria, stalker anomaly or the other valve games

I'll give you the same advice I gave to Rad albeit a bit too late for him, if you wanna branch out, branch out early before you get stuck into one niche thing and it's hard to do anything else. Fans might be a tad reluctant at first but you'd rather develop a community who's used to all sorts of stuff really.

It's unfortunate that you decided to stop making these videos. There are a lot of great mods that deserve exposure.

If you want to stick to your main demographic I would recommend sticking to source/goldsource/source2 in general as that is what most of your viewers are interested in outside of HL2.

Right now this all basically stems from me really wanting to cover 1 singular game that I have a lot to say about, but that one is like a unity game or whatever, no relations to Valve other than it being on Steam lol

Well, the last episode is the last rating, this time it will be much faster because I won't break everything into parts, I'll give my full rating: blasted lands: Overall 7/10, it was fun, even a little stressful, but not scary because... seriously, I was even more scared of something falling on the floor, the story itself was bland, and I didn't really understand the ending, the rest of the aspects were rather just good. SniperVille2: The overall rating is really 2.5, two levels I had to pass with the help of godmode and noclip because they were just terribly annoying, and the first one barely went into the computer my anger. Panopticon: Overall 5.5/10, looks pretty good, mechanics are nice but the story is completely incoherent, the gameplay itself is really hard to grasp and finally, after an hour of searching what to do next, even with the help of noclip, I gave up. As for the question... well, half life content suits me so well, it's nice to hear about a movie mod and then play it, but if I had to force something... well, maybe TF2, Portal 2 or L4D2, but I can't think of more.

I‘ve retired from making haunted maps. You could make it yourself or ask any other person with some small hammer skills to make it themselves, the first video on my channel is a tutorial on how to make one on your own

I think you should cover more games that are not half-life

different half life 2 and 1 mods firearms is a fun cs type of mod but not old school but also some left 4 dead player addon content or TF2 stuff keep it alive as valve for now I really like seeing new half life mods. I'd like to join but money is an issue where I'm living currently it's literally dollar to dollar weekly it comes down to what I need or want and I'm then broke and usually try to clme up with waysbto make money here it's a place a long term place but it's like idk if I could I would. but I get paid 2 bucks an hr under the table in some psych nut place that isn't that bad when you're about to get out it's helpled me a lot now I've seen a lot of the mods you played I like my mmod to basic the most but when we move on it's like ok then I wish they mmoded hl2dm that would be sweet. but anyway then on top of that entropy zero 2 is great and I REALLY Am having a hard time installing uprising. basically. that's one I saw you post I wanted to play I followed the read me but whatever I'll get it fixed ok so then mods for hl2 here all 3 look pretty sweet but honestly we'll I'm not sure because there are so many. mirror mod looks fun idk if it's MMOD or just mirror vanilla and that would be fun lol you could cover some I'll if there are the many more of hl1 mods but hl2 mods remain too much of a better look but I give props to mmod on the OG hl.. I played downfall wish there was a second. to be continued I dont like it to be continued I knew it had to be short considering it's size. and Minerva metastasis was a great mod. man idk most of what I see and play usually comes from you so keep up the good work I'll see it be excited and go look and play if possible if you do left 4 dead the player add ons are cool mods And some servers. it gets old though compared to the half life story or modded from HL or hl2. if you did keep going idk go with what you feel is best if I see it I'll play the video like your stuff is basically always at the top. there are so many I want to get. now one other is the "mods" to black mesa. if they releasd the engine and code to it.... I mean it'd be cool but no luck in my opinion because of the fact the remakes aren't done yet. mods to some RPGs other shooters I mean I played AWOL I stopped after a few minutes it was like too old school at least duke nukem forever was pretty cool but that isn't rt the thing of the day we live in . our world and passion is half life and the source engine and all that stuff. you could do different servers ln death match the role playing ones are fun stick with your guns man keep showing content. I'm sure you see new ones yourself all the time left for desd mods aren't mods so much as add on content that is new levels that are fun. wish the code do mmod that was available. Cover every game that can be modded dude, you absolutely won't be able to keep the channel up with just Half Life content. There's plenty of people already making that content. Try S. T. A. L. K. E. R. for a change.

Continue with source mods stuff, and expand to the other games modding scenes
