@@EnokiNoel There are three reasons what I think Hajime Isayama was trying to convey in process of making Attack on Titian📖 1.)You matter: A lot of people in this world grew up in households were their parents expects greatest from them and when they don’t live up to their parents expectations they can often feel like they don’t matter. Eren who is the main character of Attack on Titan his mom Carla says “When it comes to my child it’s fine if he never great he doesn’t have to be better than anyone he is already special because he was born into the world”(Carla) Isayama wants everyone to know they don’t have to be the president, football athlete, actor, singer and Rapper to even exist in this world you matter simply because your alive and you have a good head on your shoulders💯 2.)Hatred: Hate will always exist in this world like it or not you always going to find that one person who hates you cause you look different act different, and talk different Isayama wants us to understand despite all the hatred in this world that should not stop us from trying to shine love and peace in this world. 3.) Freedom conclusion: A lot people slave to something in this world Hajime Isayama believes you should do what you want and don’t fall into the habit of pleasing others cause you end being a slave to them forever if you do. I totally agree with him everyone should live for themselves once and awhile traveling, explore, and do what makes you happy. Eren Yeager wishes he can do what we all are doing which is traveling places with our friends and family seeing places and meeting people but he couldn’t cause of his circumstances but that didn’t stop him from doing so he still chase his freedom despite being a slave to not being able to be free I’m truly grateful that I’m alive and well to see your series come to end thank you Hajime Isayama I pray we meet someday soon my friend🙏🏽🙌🏽

Although the end credits proves that as long as humans are there, the notion of true world peace cannot be achieved, and the cycle repeats itself.. I think Zeke and Armin's conversation is the thing that gives hope the most.. to live for the small moments with our loved ones is one of the best things we can do with our lives

This ending works perfectly for people that have actually experienced such moments and can relate I suppose, but to me it just feels like it was all for nothing, considering that this entire story was about breaking the cycle to begin with from season 1

​​@@furiousdestroyah9999part of it was about breaking the cycle but then realizing the cycle is eternal as long humanity lives, even in Paradis they'd turn on each other eventually. Erwin said this way back in season 2 or 3 "Humanity will never stop fighting itself until it shrinks to a size of one or fewer"

Armin talking about how Mikasa would let Eren win the race to the tree and Armin was just happy to be racing with them even as he's last. In the final scene you see Eren buried by the tree, Mikasa buried next to Eren when she dies joining Eren in the afterlife and then the old man with the cane is suppose to be Armin last to the tree again as Eren and Mikasa wait for him to finish the race and join them in the afterlife. The feels i got when someone pointed that out hit me so hard

OMG!!! Thank you for that info. I didn't not even notice an old man walking towards the tree in the end credits! I was trying hard to look close but couldn't tell who it all was. That just hit me in the feels so bad!😭😭😭

fun fact; eren and mikasa is singing together when mikasa visit eren's grave, you could hear eren singing along with mikasa after the bird wrapped the scarf around mikasa

It's heavily implied that the cabin scene, as well as other parallel worlds, like the OVA one, are actually real but not a part of the main story. There's even one about the aot cast going to a sauna and one about them going to high school

I kinda think they did get to live the 4 years cause when Mikasa teared up and said "I suddenly feel like I shouldn't be here" Eren looked down almost like he knew the alt timeline was up. Course im probably reading way too much into it

If we look at the trajectory of how Eren has specifically acted with Mikasa throughout the series in this timeline as well as to how he put the question to Mikasa outside the refugee camp: it becomes clear that the other timeline has happened . Eren’s question to Mikasa at that point is also Eren checking which timeline he is in. One of the many tests he did, as he himself said.

Even though he had to forsake the entire world in exchange for the lives of 10-ish people (not just the 80%, also the people that got wiped out on Paradis in end credits as well as most likely more victims during their war), plus the kid in the end scene also found a new Hallucigenia soup tree so now we're most likely literally back to square 1

A fact that I wanted to share with you, in case you didn't know, was that what was written on Eren's grave translates something like this: "Here forever, rest peacefully my most beloved, my dear. 845"

You know, seeing Reiner being an absolute beast in this episode and holding off the hallucigenia makes me remember when pinkvaporgaming said' fuck Reiner! Who needs him?! Just the stereotypical blonde buff guy" he proved that wrong

one of the most chilling moments of the episode was when eren said "i didn't do it for you. i just wanted to comment genocide very badly bc you put the idea of an uninhabited world beyond the walls in my head" which shows how truly horrible of a monster eren is and always has been

It's more complicated than that. He wanted to destroy thre world inherently, but he also had the other reason of protecting his friends, which gave him an excuse. Still terrible, but after all, AOT and especially Eren is not simple.

After 10 years, the epic journey of Attack on Titan has finally come to an end. Attack on Titan has been a rollercoaster of emotions, filled with action, suspense, and unforgettable characters. It's a story that will stay with me long after the final credits have rolled. Thank you Hajime Isayama for creating this incredible story, to WIT Studio and MAPPA for bringing it to life with stunning animation, and to the entire cast and crew for their dedication and hard work. ♥🕊

since there's no opening and ending songs for NHK special version, recommend you to see the ending song for TV version(TVアニメ「進撃の巨人」The Final Season完結編（各話版）ノンクレジットED｜ヒグチアイ「いってらっしゃい」) which will split the special version to 6 episodes, they just upload the anime version and full song version with English subs(Ai Higuchi ”Itterasshai(See you later)”), I'm sure you'll need another box of tissues, it show them will get the happiness in another after life 😭

YOU SKIPPED THE ENDING CREDITS, THAT WAS IMPORTANT, GIRL SKIPPED A WHOLE AA SCENE

In the credit scene Armin survived the longest and visited the tree where two tombs were present. So first eren reached the tree followed by mikasa and at last its armin so just like in their race he reaches the hill the last.

"You got inches and a snatched waist" took me OUTTTTT

The ending scene where after many years and end of a war, a boy visits THE TREE 🌲 where eren and Mikasa were buried. Reminds you the same as Ymir's but what i saw in that particular scene was what eren achieved.. because eren completely erased the existence of titan power the boy who wandered into that tree will not meet the same fate as ymir. i guess thats what isayama tried to tell us in that last moment. Humanity will may know many terrors some might be worst than history's but they will never attain the power of titan ever again.

That was literally my reaction throughout the episode 🥲

it's a shame that so many anime onlys are not getting the full ending because they refuse to watch the credits for some reason. just let the credits roll and reflect for a minute, it doesn't cost you anything and that way you won't miss on any mid or post-credit scenes either. this applies to everyone who watches anything.

If you watch the ending frame-by-frame, Mikasa and Jean are visiting Eren's grave. And the two of them are also holding a baby. There is also a ring on Mikasa's left hand after she passed away.

I dont think Zeke is incorrect. Life doesn’t really have a meaning, we don’t need to exist, the universe doesn’t suddenly end when we phase out of it, but the point is proving it doesn’t need a meaning to continue forth. If Eren is blind optimism then Zeke is blind nihilism. And him being able to “see,” lifes worth is an incredibly precious moment.
