i highly recommend the two books before this duology called "Spin the Dawn" and "Unravel the Dusk" ! those were really fun to read, and im looking forward to reading "Her Radiant Curse" once i finish "The Dragon's Promise"

I was so disappointed in the Dragon’s Promise. The first ten chapters were so nail bitingly good and then it just slumped. No dragons more to speak of and he was one of the most interesting characters.

Haha I get what you mean. The title did feel a bit misleading in the grand scheme of things, but I loved the direction the book took and how the story moved the plot along. I also loved that we were able to explore more of their world, which expanded the adventure in my eyes. But I definitely understand your point of view.
