Brilliant !!!! And OH ! The musical choice !!! It had to be this.... I was SO saddened when he died last week. I watched "Le Jazz Hot" over and over again in mourning. What a prolific and astonishing empressario he was. He gathered the best talent around him - he DISCOVERED the best talent , Dudley Moore and Peter Sellers, who were British TV comedians that he turned into international cinematic Stars. And, Julie Andrews gave him her HEART. ★ ★ ★ ★ ★

I would add that the final scene of the dog that looks at the horizon of the sea, expresses great melancholy! Added in playlist!

GREAT!! Craig I've moved! The opening scene with Peter Sellers and the dog is amazing :D and after a few seconds when I heard the beautiful voice of Julie Andrews, I'm excited. The choice of the song is perfect my friend!! I agree It is not easy. Artists such as Blake Edwards, will not be easy to find new ones. I love "Breakfast at Tiffany's" and Peter Sellers I find one of the best actors of the comedy. Julie Andrews in "Victor Victoria" is terrific!

I saw Days of Wine and Roses and both Lee Remick and Jack Lemmon were awesome. Were they nominated for the Academy Awards?

Yes, they were. Jack Lemmon had lost out to Gregory Peck who won his Oscar for his role in "To Kill A Mockingbird," while Lee Remick would lose out to Anne Bancroft who won for her role in "The Miracle Worker."

Blake Edwards was and is on a par with Mel Brooks - I consider both to be gods.
