The Fijian Tradition: Honouring Your Loved Ones That Have Passed On (Simede Bulubulu)🪦🇫🇯
In this vlog we are doing village work. We are going to honour the loved ones that have passed on by putting concrete on their graves.
This is a Fijian Tradition called Simede Bulubulu which consist of village men working on the graves and the women stay back in the village and cook a feast for the men.
After the work. The men return to the village where they can eat and relax and enjoy the kava session in the afternoon and evening.

My mother Bulou Laisa Adinene Whippy, nee Raisele passed away last month in central Australia. This was one of her favourite KZread channels and she used to laugh at how you all spoil each other and joke around. Indeed, daily cleaning and concrete upgrades of the graves as a way of remembering loved ones passed on. But fortunately the graves being cleaned up is alot more interesting than your weird obsession with your cousin's @$$ with all that zooming in. 😂
