Diligently leading a life of integrity: that’s how slain whistle-blower, Babita Deokaran, has been described by her family. According to her colleagues, these were characteristics she demonstrated on numerous occasions as Chief Director in Finance for the Gauteng Department of Health. For the Special Investigating Unit, looking into fraud and corruption inside the embattled provincial office, Deokaran was an invaluable asset who had cooperated in a decade-long investigation. But a year ago, Deokaran’s service to her country was cut short when she was brutally assassinated. Now, Carte Blanche pieces together some of the startling evidence that Deokaran uncovered.

What a travesty of justice that a woman who stood up for righteousness was brutally murdered for exposing corruption in the ANC government, a hospital is supposed to be a place of healing but it became a blatant den of thieves and robber's. One honest woman was taken and murderer's is walking around free enjoying there families while her husband and family is suffering and mourning her death 💔 😢 those oxygen robber's should be brought to book and the punishment should fit the crime...

It is very sad that a innocent lady with integrity had to die! She is a good example to all of us to keep on going and exploit the corrupt people, especially those who were supposed to protect her!

So Carte Blanche 'failed' to find the Indian guy, oh please 🤣🤣🤣. Very similar to EFF/VBS saga journalists went to easy targets and to those that they didnt fear while they ignored the big guys. But I understand you're humans and you have families and stuff so something are not worth risking your lives for especially if you know those people will take out faster than you spell 'out'
