Greatest years of the network

Cartoon network friday nights wasnt a show it was a whole event each week!! And I don't ever remember being that excited for nickelodeon on fridays lol

I absolutely agree lol

All things considered Cartoon Network did a much better job with their Friday night blocks then Nickelodeon did, don't get me wrong both channels had the best line ups of cartoons back in the day, but I was a much bigger fan of CN when it was at its best and CCF was always one of my favorite blocks.

@@Childishju I just wish the brainless dirtbags in charge of Cartoon Network would get rid of those garbage reboots like Teen Titans Go and replace them with the classic shows like Dexter's Laboratory we all know the best way to bring CN back to its former glory is to create a great schedule of classic and modern cartoons just like they did back in the day when the channel first came into existence in the 90s and 2000s.

If Cartoon cartoons Fridays is the successful older brother who is off the air fancy college then Fridays night Nicktoons is the forgotten younger brother

CN didn't want to spend the high budget for that I assume. They shelved Cartoonstitute back in 2009-2010 still bit salty about that.

Much simpler time

I was one of those weirdo's that chose Friday Night Nicktoons. Although now I feel like I missed out on CN's best at least, I got to see the premiere for the newest episode of SpongeBob and Fairy Odd Parents.

That’s no so bad, the nicktoons had plenty to offer!

Both Nick and CN back then were all about two words “ Creativity and Variety “ especially when it comes to competition. Even though SpongeBob started the downfall of Nick, Cartoon Network still showing why they are more popular based on bumpers and iconic original shows to make them feel on top even it means INVADING Nickelodeon’s network at one point.

You put it PERFECTLY, Cartoon Network was willing to stick to the gameplay (at the time) while Nickelodeon steered to far off the path. Cartoon Network’s invasion of Nick will never cease to amaze me

It was definitely an event to watch Friday night bumbers on Cartoon Network. It was still difficult to decide if I wanted to watch CN or Nicktoons, but that made it so worthwhile.

Tbh, I think the intro for Firday Night Nicktoons was cool. But I'll agree. The bumpers, while unique for their own right, weren't that iconic as CCF. Heck, they don't really have a great pick of cartoons.

I agree, Friday night Nicktoons only had like 6 new shows in the 2000’s to primiere for that event but not enough to gain much popularity.

I prefer to watch Cartoon Network shows the most on Fridays while I was in elementary school.The new episodes was the draw. Ed,Edd,Eddy,Dexer's Lab,Billy and Mandy,Codename Kids Next Door,Courage the Cowardly Dog and Johnny Bravo I watch some Nick shows Rugrats,Invader Zim,Hey Arnold,Fairy Odd Parents,Jimmy Neutron,Rocket Power as a kid. As Disney I watched Kim Possible and Proud Family

I agree, I was more of a CN and Nick kid but Disney also had great iconic sitcoms like Lizzie McGuire, that’s so Raven, wizards and Hannah Montana, but KP, proud family, P&F and lilo and stitch were more important for kids including me to see.

As a 90’s/2000’s Kid, I definitely remember watching Nickelodeon and Cartoon Network on Friday Nights!😂🤣❤️📺🎶👍🏻

Well idk I like Disney Channel more a little bit when I was a little kid

They should reboot CN Fridays bring in some of the Cartoon Network Studios shows would be great it be similar to ACME Night where it be Crossover between Cartoon Network and Adult Swim lighter Originals like My Adventure with Superman and premiere shows like Villainous on regular American TV
