Awesome Thomas!!! yes thats exactly what it means!!! however the very Fact that The Fiend is holding Brays Head also means the Fiend has indeed consumed Bray. . if you notice in one part of the match!!! The Fiend almost puts his arms out like Jesus like bray use to do but then stops and grabs his head!!! it really says that The Fiend has consumed Bray or is slowly Consuming him. . either way this is the most Sinister Persona since The Undertaker!! or that of Papa Shango!!! Vince better not screw this up!!!! and man we need to see The Fiend use that Yowie Wowie Hammer on Kofi . . . Kofi is a children Fan Favorite and how Sinister would it be for The Fiend to crush all the dreams of thos little fans of Kofi's!! it would be an awesome start to a feud !!!

The lantern could very possibly be pieced together with Episode one of fun house: “That part of me is dead now. However, I do keep a reminder so that not even in my weakest moments will I ever turn into that pathetic slob loser ever again” And he proceeds to cut the head off of the Wyatt cutout. Could the lantern be that same reminder for the Fiend?

Daze it seems you reacted just like I did. Absolutely loved this! Did you notice that at some points during the match it appeared like Bray was struggling against the Fiend?! I thought that was brilliant as in a pre Summer Slam episode of Fire Fly Funhouse, Bray was saying that he liked Finn but the Fiend was basically going to destroy him. Pure genius!

This here folks is the culmination of genius and passionate character development. I am so happy for Bray. All the years of the fans including myself wanting Bray to be a top guy but failing was necessary because if Bray never would have failed, then we possibly never would have had the fiend, hence why he has is using his old severed head as a lantern for symbolism of the death of his previous weaker self. Bray will go down as the next Undertaker. Mark my words. Brilliant simply brilliant.

I noticed that the people when it sounds as if they are screaming I could make out words when it started playing after he won. The theme song seems to be chanting Hurt and Heal before the actual song comes on

The symbolism with that lantern is insanely deep. Most people were just in shock of the look but the meaning is just as impressive. The obvious symbolism is that the old Bray Wyatt is dead and gone and has been taken over by a higher power. not only that but it also puts a new meeting a literal meaning to the lyrics of the song "Catching flies in his mouth Tasting freedom while he dares Then crawling back, back to the top, top of the stairs... of the stairs"
