Yuki again. I have been recommending your games to everyone I know since I discovered them and I got some converts! So happy to see that you are releasing a war-themed game again. Your war ones have been the most well received by the people I know (though it might be a self selected group on my part). Anyway, super hyped for this one! I know it cna't be a wargame every month but it's always a bonus when you come up with one!

You are so lucky in your rolling. XL became available on Amazon in Canada today. It’s on the way to my home.

I don't know if you will see this, nor do I know of a better way to ask, but do you mind if people do map playthroughs of your gamebooks? I don't want to do the wrong thing and do it and find out you DON'T want people to do that, but if you don't mind... I'd love to play through some maps in some books n my channel

Hi, nice to see your new play-through. I talked of my adventure with you game on Facebook solo groups. So really hope those interested will look and buy something. Pretty neat play there but yourself recognized your luck. Still wait for a second solaria books (I see you already respond to someone else you have lots of curr3nt project before, but I can hope) or a super heroes one (Yes I know I really try to push my luck). I see your using cubes more often now. I find a index card with units listed then colored cubes for orders and results helps to keep the board less cluttered.

Good idea. I usually just rotate the chit so it looks like a diamond after it activates. Also, I’ve trimmed the cover chits to about 1/3 size so it is easier to see what is below.

Hi Mike! Hostage Resue Squad and Outpost 2099 are my favourites among your games. Are you developing further on those 2 systems?

Not currently but I’m pretty sure I’ll use something like the HRS system again. Similarly the states of siege style of Outpost is very reusable. Thanks.

Hi Mike, just discovered your solitaire book games and loving them. Quick question for XL, if a normal morale unit in cover is hit does it lose cover when it goes low morale? Thanks mate

No, it loses morale but retains the cover (they are hiding behind something that is still there). Glad you’re enjoying it and thanks for your support 👍🏻

In the bazooka attack early in playthrough shouldn’t the attack have also been modified by -2 for mortar and -1 for adjacent unit to attacked German unit - so attack at 5+ not 8+ (which reflected the bazooka’s move)?

Yes that’s right. I have actually mentioned this in the description - if you expand it you’ll see the comment about not using the support bonuses at 24.00 (fortunately it made no difference to the outcome). Thanks anyway and hope you enjoyed the video. Cheer, Mike.

Just found this channel and wargame books as a genre. Will Mike or somebody point me towards a good book to start with? I imagine if i enjoy it i will keep going but am looking for my first impression.

They are all fairly similar in terms of complexity although some are more in depth than others. If you have some experience of wargames then I suggest you try one of the more in depth games such as Lone Sherman, Long Range Recon Patrol, Battles of Napoleonic Europe, The Fields of Normandy 2 or XL, Assault on Vimy Ridge or Battles of the English Civil War. If you are new to wargaming then try The Fields of Normandy (1), Battles of Medieval Britain, Beaches for the Brave or Ghosts of the Jungle. The rest fall somewhere between these two categories. It it's not wargames you want, then of my non-wargames Quests for the Brave is very accessible and the rest are mid-complexity (for my games that is). Hope that helps a little. Once you narrow it down, check my videos to see more detail. Thanks. Mike

Was just reading about your games on Amazon. I think I want to buy about five of them. What is the best way to buy so you get the most money? I want to make sure you get paid for doing this.

Thanks Mike - it's very kind of you to enquire about this. I only make my games available on Amazon and on Wargame Vault (.com). It doesn't matter which you buy in terms of royalty share. If you see them for sale elsewhere, I probably wouldn't get anything, or not as much (that's not to say those places are not genuine sellers, by the way). Thanks again, Mike

I was on a Napoleon kick last year (before that God awful disgusting film was even released), and so I definitely want to mess around with the Napoleonic games you have.
