Lol I never post things like this and I probably won’t ever again, but to you guys, Chappers, Captain, Rabea, and the rest of your amazing crew, thank you. I’ve played guitar for many years. Sadly, I went through a nasty divorce a while back and had to sell my guitars and gear to get through all the fees and other expenses..I lost my love for music and playing guitar for quite some time...then I found you all. (Anderton’s, Rob Chapman, Rabea Massad) Your content is incredible and you all reignited my love for guitar. I had a chance to play a Ghost Fret not too long ago and I absolutely adored it. When money is right, that’ll be the first guitar I buy to rebuild my collection. Thank you all!

They're good people. I bought a load of stuff from 'em last year. It all arrived faster than I expected and worked perfectly. It's a good job - for my bank account - that I live a good distance, otherwise I'd be there every day buying yet more stuff.

Yes, have you put a new rig back together? I am curious to know how it's going. I understand losing your gear & ultimately the joy that playing music (everything pleasurable, really) along with it. I'm currently in a similar position, rebuilding my rig after stealing tens of thousands of dollars worth of equipment from myself over the last decade or so. Since getting sober last year my brain is re-rewiring itself & I'm starting to get the natural dopamine back again, playing music with friends & old band mates & such. Feeling grateful to be alive, tbh. Hope to hear that everything is going well for you if you read this!

Lee is just so _tasteful._ When i started watching Andertons, it was obvious he was 'just learning,' but now he does stuff that makes me go Whoa, and he does it far more often than some of the major/big name players. Even recognizing he doesn't have their technical proficiency, what makes *music* music is the taste and artistic sensibilities. I look forward to hearing Lee play in every video.

Paul Charlton Hey, Paul. I realize he’s been in bands but I had the feeling he was more of a rhythm player. His solo work is something he’s still learning and there has been really obvious progress over the past 4-5(?) years. He has had a ‘mini series’ with Pete and maybe some others tutoring him. I grew up always intimidated by soloing, and still can’t do it-some sort of mental block. But seeing how beautifully he has developed has been an inspiration.

To add a thought for cab emulation... I imagine the VAST majority of buyers (like me) are hobbyist/intermediate players who won't be recording the next top 40 hit but DO play at church, or on the weekends with their buddies at small local gigs, etc. We are the folks hampered with car repairs, limited space for gear at home, tight budgets, and nagging spouses. We live in the world of mid-level "good enough" gear. Having a direct emulated out on the amp, while not the world's best sounding option, solves a lot of cost/complexity issues for the hobbiest. One less box to buy/lose/break, one or two less cables, etc. Sure it's not the greatest, but I'm glad it's there. :-) Carry on, Cap 'n Rob! Love this channel!

But the cab em on the BB15 is shite. Just awful. Idk about the 30, it's almost certainly the same. I leave it off on my 15 and run the XLR to my NU>X Solid Studio, then DI. It really is terrible emulated out.

@@mattgilbert7347 I had the Bassbreaker 15 for a while and loved it, but the terrible emulation is part of the reason I moved on to something else. I own this amp, bought it last year and still i haven't been disappointed by this beauty yet. I used it for live playing and recording, this amp really is a beautiful work horse. Full sounding, extremely versatile and the best of all, sturdy as fuck. The direct output actually saved my ass during a radio gig. Me and the band were squeezed into a tight talk-show recording room, we had a bit of space to move around (the drums took up most of the space) but we had no sound isolation, miking up the amp would have been a nightmare for the sound engineer in post production. So we just got a microphone cable, hooked up the amp to the digital mix set, and we did the gig. (yes the quality wasn't all that good, but i managed to get a descent tone from it). Its better to have something and not need it, then to need it and not have it.

I'd like to thank Rob for providing the maths lecture notes I missed during my anxiety dream last night, although hanging them from a bit of string on the wall and pointing at them was a bit odd. In the real world, that's a great amp and some nice demo playing by you both.

I have the Bassbreaker 007 Combo. For me it is the only valve amp I need being a home only player. They sound great, are reasonably priced and they take pedals well.

I don't think I've _ever_ heard Chappers and the Captain play _together_ *that* well as in the intro! PS: For the whole video, really. They both were on _fire_ !

Gigging with the BB 15 for 2 years & it's a tone monster and reliable to boot. Using a Deci-Mate to tame it down on higher gain settings makes it all the more appealing.

Amp sounds surprisingly awesome, and was probably at its best paired with that super sweet Ibanez. Sounds like Lee has been practicing. Great sound as well
