The word fear is mostly used in a negative way, along with dread or terror. Many Christians dread God or are terrified of His judgment. But did you know there are over three hundred scriptures that talk about the fear of the Lord in a positive way? Isaiah 11:1-2 even says that Jesus feared His Father God.
In his teaching The Fear of the Lord, Andrew Wommack defines “fear” from a biblical standpoint and lays out why it is important to fear the Lord over man. Fear of man is a powerful force that has caused many to bow to evil. Today, this is called political correctness, and it’s the justification for compromise. But Proverbs 29:25 says, “The fear of man bringeth a snare, but whoso putteth his trust in the Lord shall be safe.” With this teaching, you will learn how to fear God above all others, respect authority, and respond in faith when evil is present.

Father send Charis alumni to NYC, LA, Chicago, Detroit... very hard soil but so rewarding... revival happens in the most unlikely places... we may not have lots of Christian comforts in nyc but we have the ability to change culture... send a mission trip to nyc..

I've been writing and asking these tv ministries to come to NYC, Joyce Meyers, basically said no..lol...Andrew came here a few times ( Queens) and that was it. I think they are intimidated by these cities. But Chicago and NYC really need them.

You answered your own statement. "Hard soil"! So it's not the "evangelist" per se. It's the soil. "Even Jesus could not do many miracles in his home town" because of their unbelief! Paul was KEPT from preaching to Asia by the Spirit.. I left Chicago back in 86. NO burning desire at all to move back. Glory to GOD that we still have the freedom to move, and grow in good soil! No construction company builds a "NEW" slum. It's what the people accept and propagate. I don't think Sodom started out being totally perverted.. it grew that way. Those cities are ALL run by the mob. (Demoniacs) They're dug in like tics.

How do you meditate,and study,the Word of God??? How do you understand,the Word of God,when you read it??? I am finding, it very difficult, to understand,the Word when I read it.
