+Granger Monette It was never directly stated in the original movies that Krueger molested his victims, but it was strongly implied, especially in the first two. I believe Wes Craven also said in an interview that Freddy was a child molester and murderer.

Well rather Craven originally wanted Freddy to be a child molester and murderer but he dropped the molester part and made him just a murderer because of the controversy at the time involving actual molestation in a preschool and they didn't want to trivialize it.

Love this era of hip hop. Lyrics were interesting and funny - the rap told a story- and the chorus was melodic.

NOSTALGIA! Always such a fun look back to when i was little. Been watching Nightmare and Friday since i was around 5yrs old. :) My parents were really cool about this stuff as long as i could handle it and not get too freaked out. They told me later that they actually watched me to make sure i could differentiate reality from the movies. If not then it would have been Disney only from then on. lol Imagine that! Parents that actually care enough to watch their own kids. It's so retro.

My husband and I are like this with our kids. My 6 year old watches horror movies, but I’d he can’t handle it he will either go to another room or we turn it off. But if he does fine, we continue and he knows the difference between fact and fiction and what is ok or is not.

I love it! I don't care what anyone says, the Nightmare movies only got better in my mind. Just b/c a movie isn't scary doesn't mean it isn't good...
