What do you use to get your helmets so shiny?

Is the visor of the kask pro the same one for the kask bambino evo?

Is there any difference as to the curvature (downward ) of the tail between the two. It appears the ProEvo has a little more drop. This is important to those riders that do not have your flexibility and allows one to get the tail down on the back. Thanks Doug McClellan

I still use an old Lazer Tardiz for TTs, I'm not in a position where I can afford anything better. I'm pretty happy with it though.

It's a short tail helmet. Almost certainly not in the same ballpark.

Did you end up aero-test both ? Which one was better with your position ? Thanks

@@ronykuba Thanks for your feedback. So maybe Mistral for longer distances since it is probably a tiny bit more ventilated (with the exit for the air at the pointy back of the helmet) 🙄

Have you tried The Victor helmet with a shorter tail?

I am wondering whether a „wide tail“ helmet is a good option for me. Thus far I am using the Giro Aerohead, which is very fast for me. But I do not have comparison data.

You know, i bought a Giro Aerohead, having an old long tailed Cateye from before. I ran it 8times against each other on a ,2,5km stretch. The best run for the Aerohead was 0,5km/h worse than the worst run for the Cateye......i was shocked. The Cateye i bought for 80$ used in 2013......

​@@torbis75 it's weird that the Cateye is so fast on some people, even when it looks to be bad for someone. Chloe Dygert's tail is often very far from her back with hers but she obviously tested her head down position. That said, she's moved onto the Aerohead despite having freedom to wear whatever she wants with Redbull

Hey Rony. Do you know if the kask Bambino pro visor fits the kask mistral? The visors look remarkably similar and the mistral silver visors are really hard to get hold of in the UK at the minute.

I don’t think it’s made anymore

It would be interesting to see some numbers for the POC Tempor also. It is the choice of Team Huub Wattbike, so despite all it's flaws and uglyness it should be fast. Strange thing nobody tries to do a modern version of that concept.

ColtJustice Maybe, but it still leaves a lot be desired according to reviews. Secondly it should be possible to improve the esthetics without making it less aero.

@@albr4 Thats the same stuff with the Giro Aerohead, thats why thers two versions, one with and other without vents.. because some people prefer better respiration on the head... but you can just cover the vents with some tape if you prefer to have them exposed.

sweet protection falconer ll is by far much more stylish
