You don’t have to play vanilla servers. There’s thousands of awesome PVE modded servers where there’s no killing, no raiding, no griefing, and it’s just a bunch of people having fun and being friendly to each other. I have like 4,000 hours on rust, and maybe 1 hour of that was on a PVP server.

@@ryanschaff2507 problem is I'd get bored of that pretty quick. I'm not against PvP, but I do think there needs to be more balance in it. Have PvP servers and pve servers but also PvP/pve servers. Are there pvp servers with no offline raiding, or servers that have designated timers for PvP etc, so servers a bit like the purge films, windows of a few hours where there are no laws lol. if that was the case I might consider it.

​@@readmore7180 there are some modded servers with "raid block" plugins so that people cant seal / reseal their base when getting raided. Promotes online raiding

It actually is a good game design hjune and when players can't get to your stage as fast there more likely to be out roaming with guns and going to oils and monuments instead of not leaving with geat becuase they have gear fear you want pvp that's what all you streamers talk about well the normal casual player can't get guns and tier 2 and secure base for at least a day or so and you barely stay on servers more then a day so I'd think you'd think it was a good thing to so more players are all out roaming with armor and guns a long with full inventory becuase they need everything still just food for thought and only a opinion

It’s a nice thought but it’s far from reality. Even when loot is easier to get people still won’t leave their grid and roof camp. It’s the nature of the game when “winning” is measured by taking others people stuff and keeping yours. So of course a lot of people will learn not to leave the base with gear.

@@gabefowler7320it’s not the average player base has been roughly the same for the past couple of years and the change to recoil was made 2022 rust 2021 was just about the same before changes it peaked to like 150k January February 2021 probably for twitch rivals and streamers making the game pop and before that was in the 50k range you change recoil now it’s bound to make the majority of new players quit.. assuming that’s what you’re talking about I haven’t finished the video..

@@nuneetv old player base > new player base I would rather have a lower pop and I bet it would feel the same as it does now, maybe even better. No new player roams unfortunately since ak is one tap for most people. If they changed the damage I can see why they would take the recoil out but right now I can’t even react in a fight and I’m dead, or better yet I’ll get aim cone luck for half a mag and get turned on triple head shot. It’s just inconsistent at the moment…people used to miss shots but now it’s just aim cone luck.. no skill other than game sense..

I understand the frustration but the server is only as fun as the people playing it let it be. This is a symptom of SBMM. Learn from your losses against better players and you will improve greatly. It's OK to lose. Hopefully it's fun to fight.

Why they gotta be such A_holes? Wiping lower tier players left and right, why? It's Rust, they can choose not to...

Good video. Just way to much G.D. being said for a like and had to stop watching. Sad to see you can't make a video without saying that over and over.
