Real prostocks launch close to redline and even with the power adders the motor behaves like a prostock, redline launch mechanically makes more sense with this car

i think if you want it to run a little faster in free roam, rip that 6spd out and put in the stock transmission since you use only 5 gears anyway. saves a bit of weight meaning it could go faster.

I agree with that. I usually tune with 6 gears just in case I need it for top end but this car pretty much tops out in 5th gear anyways so I might eventually switch to the 5 geat setup

@@TunedByZelo i appreciate the reply and im sorry if my comment may have sounded a little rude towards your tuning abilities - just thought i wanted to point out a little flaw with the car since weight differences in cars like these play huge roles. but i will happily wait for the next tune for this car with the 5spd so i can compare the time differences. i have sniped a few of these camaros so i can easily test them with different tunes. good luck with tuning the car. :)

@@immoral_ No problem at all man i'm always open to ideas or criticism because it only helps me tune better. If you want the 5 speed tune now btw just copy my tuning in the vid and do the same gearing but with the 5 speed. It's geared perfectly at the 5th gear for festival drag

@@TunedByZelo always willing to help or throw some tips here and there even if they wont work it'll always be something to learn from and possibly utilise in the future. - and for the 5spd setup, ive done that after watching the video to see how it works and yea, it's great. the little weight difference saved me roughly 0.050-0.070s on the full runway and in terms of going from the railings to the trap, i went around 1.5-2mph quicker with ofc some slight adjustments to the suspension, rear pressure and dampeners. but in all, its a great base tune and im glad to have stumbled upon it. hope to see a 3.0 tune that'll make the 2.0 one look slow ^^

So in the festival playlist you have to complete every challenge for the season/week. Just so you're aware though you need the hotwheels/rally adventure dlc to actually get the full 80 points you need for this car. You also need to be a champion in both the hotwheels and rally adventure dlc. If you're new the only "easy" way of getting it is through the auction rn. You can also get it by getting as many points as you can this week and do the same in the other seasons until you reach that 80 points for the series reward. Sorry for the book lol just wanted to try and explain it all for you

@TunedByZelo getting the proper cars isn't the easiest. Every race requires a specific car. I know there's just under a month left to get the car. I just gotta make a list of the ones I need and the stipulations. All the cars I have are from unlocks or barn finds so far. It'll be a fun game once I truly start playing.

Lol it was more of a good guess this time around. I set it to this number and it felt good right away. I usually just try a soft or stiff setup and see what the car likes more

@@Drewskii55 Tuning really just comes down to what feels good when you tweak it. And I use max pressure on high grip cars because sometimes they have too much grip off the line and can bog. Higher pressure also helps with top end and makes for a better trap speed. If you go max pressure make sure to adjust your first gear to be a little longer because of the loss of some of that grip.

Make sure you're using the drift differential. It helps with top end
