Gaming doesn't need a high speed connection, a 5mbps connection is good enough for gaming. The only 2 things that matter is data cap and latency.

@@abawa9018 unless your internet is like, sooooo slow, like near non-existent then no, that isn't true. Think of internet as a highway, 5 lanes equals 5mbps, each lane has a truck carrying a load. The trucks drive at 120km/h. From point A to point B the time taken is your latency, but the amount of trucks and how much load they have is your internet speed. If you put 10 trucks you have 10mbps, more load can be carried but your data still travels at the 120km/h.

For me, I play Apex Legends. I switch between GLO and MTN. My Glo is more likely to have some issue that will increase ping and packet loss but most time it's very good. My ping is like 130 to 150 ping on a good day.

There's no ipnx coverage in my area....Best around here should be airtel and God it trips off at times like hell..three times yesterday i was playing BR and i just disconnected for like 20-30 secs each time in the middle of a fight...God it was so painful

I live in Calabar and I have an MTN sim. My download is 100-120mb/s. And uploads 7-12mbps. Yet my game still give me 3 bars instead of 4 bars.

Yh I get 90-120 ping on glo with my hotspot, and it's not bad just sometimes it has to do with some IP address block, but I cant login to my psn. But glo is really good for gaming.

I use tp link in ajah and I get constant 675 ping pls what network gets me 80 - 120 ping in my area

my friend gets 60 ping on his games on ipnx. Fiber one is terrible there's so much packet loss and fiberone has numerous cut outs randomly A LOT. Lag outs of online classes, 1000ms ping and other nonsense. You cant play games while someone else is using the packet loss is UNREAL. Please do not waste your money I'm tryna find a better alternative cause even on 20 Mbps the 90 ping is not stable at all and disconnects will drive you crazy

I've been using glo and a mifi to game for about 2 years+ before I finally bought a compatible router to use instead cuz of the lan cable, there's a big difference trust me. On discord I get as low as 112 to 135ping on average, I get 125 to 140 on paladins, Apex is weird cuz it shows you 112 to 130 on London and Belgium servers but in-game its actually like 135 to 150+, Destiny 2 doesn't show ping but it plays quite well. It’s here now and it’s not the best

MTN is the best in Victoria Island where speed is like 3mbps but I get 98 - 104ms average. Airtel like 50mbps with 150ms - 220ms, 1 in 2 packet loss. MTN is the most stable so far. However, MTN is sharing a transatlantic cable with Vodafone and Tata Comms while Main One and GLO has a dedicated cable connecting Nigeria (Lekki, Lagos to be specific) to the UK. GLO and Main One should be the fastest in Africa/West Africa and albeit physically closest to Europe. Take this like a grain of salt tho. pceeeeeee

mtn is one of the best options but even then I find it very unlikely your getting ping that low unless your playing with people in the same region.

So funny enough I get like 25 ~ 30 ping and I don't game though. Also around 2 ~ 4MB/s(Download) notice the big "B" there's a difference between Mbp/s and the later. Meaning I get like 14.5 ~ 35.4 Mbp/s.(Download) So I think I finally have something to be proud of in this country 😂😂 But there's a catch Notice my speed only included Download well yeah, upload is terrible. Usually 0.25 ~ 0.71 Mbp/s on a good day it gets to 1.30 Mbp/s Meaning when I'm uploading anything every second I uploaded about 0.03 ~ 0.16 MB/s. I use Spectranet though......Abuja. Well this the price I got to pay for wanting my cake and eating it too. Just decided to break deep into what I get to save anyone from asking.

please change the title to fastest internet in Lagos and Abuja not Nigeria 😅😂😂😂😅😅🤣
