Being checkmated by fool's mate is the biggest humiliation a person can face in chess.

Good video to demonstrate the concept. Of course almost no one, but the most inexperienced amateur novice beginner players would play these openings. I've both beaten such players, and had the misfortune of playing such an opening when I was still new to the game. Play, and learn.

White has to play the d4 move because white needs the black pawn on g7 to move up 2 squares so it wouldn't block the white queen
