The dragstrip in west coast USA is broken and it disqualifies you everytime after the first one for some reason.

I noticed this too. Sometimes it works over and over, but 9 times out of 10 you have to fully exit the drag mission after every pass and reenter for it to work.

@UwU they're not lazy they have a tiny team with a stupidly complicated project under their hands. The physics engine needs constant tweaking and the car's models need to be stupid high quality in order to look the most realistic possible with crashes, that's why neil is always excited with dev quality mods, they're outta this world. Tyres were a HUGE headache because the physics engine struggles with elasticity since it's designed for things to bend, not to stretch, it's not surprising that it took them around 4 or 5 years to get rid of the "world sized tyres" glitch when they blew under the pressure from inertia. This is only a couple of examples of the issues that a team that was originally about 8 people had to deal with, now they're larger but i don't know how much it has grown, last thing i heard they were about 50 peope on the PBR update

For the drag strip, you have to keep inching forward until the yellow lights at the top of the tree light up. That's why it wasn't starting for you. You were just a hair behind the line instead of on it.

I don't think the front wheels were registering at all. I think it was lighting the bulbs when the back tires hit the starting line.

The green line on the ground shows that it was lined up, but the tree wasn't working. Unfortunately the drag strip is a bit buggy, I hope it will be fixed soon

Fun fact that I don't know if you know about top fuel dragsters. They actually don't have transmissions. It's just a series of 6 or 7 clutch plates that fuse together because of the friction, and the tires are actually designed to help with the top end speed of the cars because of the ballooning that happens

It works for me, but you have to start the event first, otherwise the tree will not trigger the start and yes you have to stage the car correctly otherwise it will just sit there.

You could play “darts” with comodo by launching top fuels off different jumps, but you have “targets” driving around the board/target zone. (Small cars more points, direct hits are bulleyes)

That very first dragster you showed in the video made a run at 4.716 seconds at 348 mph. Faster than real life dragsters but a slower time. Also Neil, you absolutely have to go to a 4 wide event if you haven't already and figure out a way to get down onto the tarmac when these dragsters run. It's an absolutely incredible and literally bone shaking experience

He was doing a 1/4 mile. I think real dragsters only race 1000 feet. So they would be going slower at the end and complete the race in less time Irl.

i love the intro of the vid when you put the intro. , the aesthetic, the colors and the cyber90's style is amazing it makes me feel so nostalgic.. and the vid is amazing, i used to watch this races with this cars when i was younger (in YT) and those vids of those cars make me love muscle cars and the power of those cars. Hey neil! I have a bit of advice for drag racing. Use the E-brake while about 2/3 throttle, then when u want to go, let go of the E-brake. And FULL THROTTLE! Thats how they do it IRL too

if you get disqualified you have to restart completely no just click retry. you literally need to exit the race entirely and Go back to the start race, choose your opponent type bs. yeah its stupid. and thx for all the great content Neil, always seem to make my day just a pinch better man. hope you have an excellent day.

in the first run in car jump arena the dragster flew into the podium as it knows it deserves it.

I wish the drag chutes worked to help slow you down.

The alts are the hardest drag cars to handle in real life. (And I mean hardest. No other vehicle is harder.)

You're "wobbling" because thats what the real ones do at idle... 11,000 hp with monstrous slicks that have only 6 or 7psi in the tires makes these beasts shake at idle.

How do I get these drag cars? I don't see them in the download mod section.
