Simplest example. I work at a hotel front desk, and I have made more money in tips than any of my coworkers because I remember guests' names.

Thank you, Dr. Golden! I actually listened to this at 2x the speed to test myself on how I learned: ▪︎ Homework vs. Schoolwork ▪︎ You can learn. There's nothing you can't learn. ▪︎ You don't have a problem learning, just a problem with the system you're using to retain information. ~ *How do you remember names?* 1)Listen. 2)Repeat it. 3)Ask them question about their name. [What does your name mean? Named after somebody? Stories - easier to remember than a word] ~ *How To Learn Any Topic/New Cocept* [EX Music, Language, Jackson5 guitar]: 1)Be excited about the benefits of learning it. 2)Learn 1 component at a time. 3)Master that component. 4)Learn another thing. 5)Master that 2nd component. [MASTER=Do it so many time slots can't get it wrong.] 6)Stack your masteries. ["Inch by inch is a cinch..."] ◇ The fastest path to learning is slow. ~ *How To Memorize Scripture* 1)On 3x5 card, FRONT- Put reference at top/ BACK- Reference alone in center 2)Read 7X/day outloud for 7 days ■ The faster you learn, the longer you retain it, the stronger your mind becomes. ■ Exercise Your Mind: Listen to people with opposing views. The biggest hindrance is thinking you already know.

Dr. Golden, I think you are right when you say there are teachers who should not be teaching. However, as a teacher, the pendulum goes both ways. I need a student who will accept their end of the teaching dynamic. Contrary to popular opinion, no matter how hard I try, I can't force knowledge into an unwilling child's mind. And for those who say the child is too immature to accept a responsibility for learning, they are wrong. As a teacher, I have a job to do, the parent has a job, and the student has a responsibility, and we should not let them think otherwise. I am a black male teacher, and Black students can and will learn just as readily as any other student. I will hold up my end of the equation, but kids, and parents must understand how they play their part. Teaching is slowly becoming the career that fewer people want to do, and if you followed a teacher around the campus of any major metropolitan city you would understand why. God help us all!!!!

Thank You, Heavenly Father for answered prayers big or small. I am truly grateful for All You have done, and doing in my life in Jesus’ mighty name. Amen and Amen! 🙌🏾 Thank you much Mr. Myron Golden, for your awesome tools on remembering scriptures/learning anything is attainable if we just exercise our minds 🌹🥰👍🏾 I had a talk with God recently to ask Him for a better and easier way to remember scriptures. I would remember them and bc I had not used the actual scriptures out loud, I would forget a portion of the scripture and would give up on remembering and just look it in instead. This is so Awesome!

I’ve been using this technique since I was a child. I’d hyper focus on ONE topic and learn it to its fullest. It became boring for me and it manifested in me making it harder for myself. I’d intentionally make concepts more complex and over time it really metered my intelligence. I’ve learned that learning three things at once is my limit and more concept difficultly doesn’t translate to faster knowledge. I’m fact, I noticed my active memory was negatively affected by ceasing to hyper focus on individual topics. As of late I have readopted my original learning technique and I direct all of my focus towards 1 topic. Treat all info as a meal and eat all of it.
