Humbleness is within the japanese culture, i guess. You see this in real life, as well as in some anime. Many characters with great skills and powers don't show off and seem humble or at very least restrained.

How did fast and furious go from actually street racing coated with jdm culture and everything car enthusiast love, to the idiotic typical Michael bay action movie filled with cringe and nothing to do with car tuning or street racing...? Thankfully these older masterpieces exist. Helps me forget the utter garbage thats out now with the name fast and furious slapped onto it.

@@xm7870 some parts Tokyo cause they had a hard time getting licences to shoot plus it was way too overpopulated to shoot properly without disrupting traffic, some of the chase and crash scenes were filmed in L.A I think

I knew this for to long when I saw him fishing I was going crazy but it was to obvious im like wait that's not fair lol

There should've been more movies like Tokyo Drift. Having a separate story from Dom, Brian and the rest of the OG crew was a really good concept. To be fair, Fast & Furious was never necessarily about racing in the first place but this was the only movie where it stuck to that theme. All this other weird sci-fi, James Bond style of films after that was just unnecessary but people love it anyway.

It hurts when they make Keiichi suck at drifting

For me, this is the last good F&F movie in entire series, where there are actually a race. Yes, a racing movie, not some robbing, action, and shooting movies with a car.

so in the end Lucas Black were never able to drift :p

I remember back then this F&F was called to be the worst and wasn't even considered a part of the series by most people. Now it's considered as the best by a lot of people since the new F&Fs are all about shooting, explosions, warfare and just a bit of cars. This movie depicted the "race scene" the best in the entire series in my opinion.

Legend says that this guy can drift a Mitsubishi Mirage while towing a ton of Tofu, whit a hand tied to this back and blindfolded.

Cmon I’m believe I am not the only one who likes the miniature cars.

So no one is going to talk about tsuchiya drifting every corner in a normal race

back when movies were culture changing events... simply awesome stuff

Tyres is literally the least of your worry mate. They last just fine. Its the actual car you should worry about. The cost of building them in the first place, all the engine & drivetrain parts are the one which expensive.

They got the cheapest tires. they drift it anyways, the shittier your tire. the easier to drift ;) So yeah very very cheap second used almost empty or empty tires. I did that in the past when i went drifting with friends, got me 4 tires for 15 bucks
