Dorothy Malone was 30 when she made this movie. She never got any real breaks in her acting career -- trapped mostly on the B-list. I really enjoyed her in this one. An authentic, believable performance. The script did stretch credibility a bit in a couple of places, probably because of runtime constraints. I think one of the hallmarks of a good actor/actress is the ability to deliver a quality product regardless. Here, in my opinion, she definitely did.

I love this movie for all the old and some forgotten sports cars.I think I saw Jaguar XK120&140,Allard J2,Kurtiss 500,Triumph TR2,Nash Healey,AC Ace,Cunninghams,O.S.C.A.Porsche 550,MG TF, and a few I could not identify. Possibly Ole' Yellow.

Imagine the kids who watched this back in the day growing up, then in 2001 they see another movie under this name in the theater, think it's their childhood movie being replayed, only to be disappointed.

When Peter Cushing was a starving actor in Hollywood,he and John Ireland were room-mates. They lived entirely on porridge made by Ireland(best in the world ,according to Cush!).

Hey everybody!. I have seen this movie several times and love it. I just wanted to point out a couple of cool things. close to the end of the movie they put up a road block on a house "in Mexico". It is the same house featured in " Kiss Me Deadly" that is an AWESOME film noir movie from 1955!!!!!!!! It introduces a brand new actress - Cloris Leachman and if you like VINTAGE sports cars, you'll wet your pants. And in the final scene of "What Ever Happened To Baby Jane" (in Malibu) Also, in F & F, they keep using that same curve only the cars keep going in different directions. I believe that curve has been used in a bunch of movies. Cheers

This changes from the Hollywood crap we get nowadays. This is proof we can make a movie without the mandatory superpowered actors. Real men, real women, no superheroes, no LGBTQ++(?...)propaganda, no mandatory black hero who dies at the end, no mandatory jewish genius, no Sarah, no Goldberg, no Freedman, no Finkelstein,...just a history with everyday people, cars and love. That's pretty refreshing.

Ahhh. The days owning a sportscar and racing it. Can't do that much these days unless your rich. In fact today owning a sportscar is rather stupid. A Kia can go as fast as you can and that is about 70 mph. The speed limit. Say thank you lawyers. They sued average people out of racing. Even dirt racing is turning into the rich buying their victories.

Well, Don, that's the price we must pay to create a perfect artificial equality for all! Many other things too have been eliminated from the simple fun schedule, and been made felonies or requiring of governmental permission/licensing to do. If they could, very many would get into a time machine if existing, to escape this monstrous Equivalency Plan we now live-in and endure, in obedient torturous silence. Get with it! "OBEY" "COMPLY" "BEHAVE" & etc. from "They Live!" . : .
